Tasha's place was in a great location for me to visit my mom in hospital near by. As I was there for 10 nights, an improvement would make it a truly 5 star experience. I wanted to give 4 and a half stars with the half taken off for the rather uncomfortable sofa, but overall I would recommend her place.It's in a neighbourhood where it's central and feels safe. Check in and out was seamless.

My stay at this beautiful Midtown East apartment was absolutely perfect! The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Manhattan with easy access to everything. The apartment itself is spotless, stylish, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was super cozy, and I loved how quiet it was despite being in such a central area. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and the host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and thoughtful. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York!

I had a great stay at this apartment and would absolutely book it again if it’s available.The unit is on the ground level, but it’s located on the backside of the building and felt very safe. As a woman staying alone, I never had a single concern. I also appreciated that it’s not a studio. Having a separate bedroom from the living room and kitchen made it feel much more comfortable for a longer stay. The closet space was a bonus.The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the towels were generously sized. I actually brought my own pillows and towels because some hosts skimp in that area, but that definitely wasn’t the case here. The kitchen had almost everything I needed since I ate in frequently, and anything that wasn’t there I simply added to the collection.The building itself is quiet, and the natural light in the unit is outstanding. It never felt dark or cave-like. The water gets very hot, so just be careful, but I was grateful for consistently hot water in the city. The location is also a huge plus. It’s within walking distance to everything you need, the neighborhood is quiet, and Uber pickups were always easy.A few minor downsides: the unit could use a deeper clean in some areas, and the couch futon isn’t very comfortable, which is a shame because the living room is otherwise such a nice space. The door auto-locks behind you, which is great for security, but just be mindful when taking out the trash so you don’t accidentally lock yourself out.Overall, great!

This unit is in a great location within walking distance of lots of restaurants, shops, and sites. The unit is small and dated, the kitchen could us a few more utensils and the mattress could use a little updating. There could have been some instructions for the appliances and TV (which was very hard to figure out) but the host was very quick to respond and help us out with that. Linens and towels were great and the unit was very quiet. If you are there during colder months and are a light sleeper, the radiator right next to the bed can be a little noisy at night and the furniture in the living room is extremely uncomfortable. However, overall we enjoyed our stay.
