Welcome home! My apt is a beautiful 1 BED ROOM apt in a modern elevator building! Located in the upper east side , the location is perfect just minutes from anywhere you may want to go in the city. Parks, restaurants, Museums ,..all just steps away!
This is a Beautiful and Modern 1 BED ROOM , Private apt in Prime Upper East Side location near East 79 street Near park ave Just a few blocks from the 77 street 6 train or the 86 street 4,5,6 trains. 5 minute walk to Carl Shultz Park on the East River as well as to Central Park and several Museums .
There are amazing restaurants , Parks, Wine Bars, and lounges everywhere!
Expect to really enjoy yourself !!
This is an Elevator Building and lots of renovations. The apt was redone just a few years ago with Stainless appliances in the kitchen a as well as several large windows so the apt is also bright and airy.
it includes , huge closet , bathroom , Living Room for a nice cozy feel.
This is truly a one of a kind apt in NYC.
I am always available for my guests if you have any questions at all.
The upper east side of Manhattan is a beautiful , quiet neighborhood with that is in my opinion the best location in the city. It is quiet with tree lined streets but only a few minute ride in a cab or subway to the busier downtown area or times square. It is just a few Minutes walk to Central Park and the Met Museum as well as other beautiful parks overlooking the east river.
And of course , there are more amazing restaurants and bars and shops within steps of this apt ! Everything you need is within a block or two of the building.
There is lots of great and easy transportation including , trains , buses , taxis, and if you have a car easy parking on the street or parking garages if you choose.

Very comfortable apartment in a fairly residential area, so there are two train lines close by, grocery stores, great neighborhood pub and grills. Check in was smooth, communication was excellent, Apartment is nice sized and had everything we needed.

Fantastic Location

Communication with Jay was always easy and professional. The apartment is in a great location. Easy to get to bus and subway locations. Many great restaurants and bars in the area. Easy walk to Central Park and Museums. We loved our stay here

Great place and even greater host!

This place is a little hidden gem on the upper east side. The apartment is a perfect place in a "quiet" area of Manhattan for a fantastic price. The apartment was clean and tidy and definitely much bigger than a NYC hotel room. Jay, the host, is very very easy to communicate with, we stayed in touch before checking in, he met us at the apartment to show us around and he was very caring throughout our stay, even offering to come by when we checked out to help us with our bags!! He's a great guy!I would definitely recommend this place!

Nice stay!

The apartment is really pretty, clean and comfortable! Even tho it’s not located exactly at the address provided online, it’s still well connected with metro and bus transportation.Would recommend!

Appartamento con atmosfera Newyorkese confortevole e silenzioso (comparato alla complessiva rumorosità della città) . Le parti comuni dell’edificio sono un po’ trascurate ma la collocazione è straordinaria per vivere una autentica esperienza di vita a New York . Fermate delle metropolitane linea 6 e linea Q vicine …fermate autobus urbani appena a due passi.

Wonderful stay!

Jay was a wonderful host and the apartment was perfect - large, well furnished, clean, and neat. I was surprised at the spaciousness of the living room! Lots of room to rest and relax on my trip. The bed was very comfortable and there were lots of pillows. The apartment even had an umbrella that guests could borrow, which is a thoughtful detail I’ve never seen in any place other I’ve stayed! Jay was very communicative and helpful throughout the stay whenever I needed anything. We happened to run into each other as I was checking out and he’s a lovely guy who clearly cares about his guests and their experience staying at his place. I’m definitely planning to stay here again during my next trip to NY, if it’s available!

Short Stay

This apartment was perfect proximity to Memorial Sloan Kettering. My mother was having a complicated surgery and I needed to be as close to the hospital as possible. It is 10 blocks away so I could get to her without delay and not having to worry about getting across town or uptown was key for my stay. Jay is an extraordinary host. His response time is close to instantaneous. He provided concise and clear instructions for how to get in. The apartment is a simple, clean and well kept place. If fancy is what you are looking for this is not it. But if you are looking for a place to lay your head on a comfortable bed and quiet space this is it. It is a quick walk to all mass transportation if needed, train and bus. The UES has plenty to offer and the apartment is close to all (restaurants, museums, etc).The downside is that the building was not as well kept as the apartment. The hallways are dim and some floors were heavy with the smell of cigarette smoke. There is an elevator but I optedTo take the stairs to the 3rd floor - typical NYC walk-up. The bathroom of the apartment could use an upgrade. The shower was not working and I had to make do with the bath spout. The bathroom is a tight squeeze for big&tall people. In terms of security I would have preferred two locks on the apartment door instead of one, but as a regular traveler I am familiar on how to create a secure space for myself. Jay, thank you for being gracious with your time and being a great host.

It had what we needed

Jay is a lovely host and an excellent communicator. We enjoyed the location of this apartment and how close it was to a gluten free bakery and public transportation. It was also lovely and quiet for being in a big city. I do want to let others know this is a very basic accommodation. There was only one bath towel per person and no hand towels, wash cloths etc. Also, only one other review mentioned the shower and its difficulty holding temperature. We were there a week and the shower was a negative. I hope Jay can work on the water pressure and temperature gauge soon. Overall, our stay was good and the place gave us good rest in the warm and comfortable bed. .

Best Apt You’ll Find

You won’t find a better location in Manhattan. This is the place to stay if you want to experience NYC as locals do. It’s a short walk to Central Park and 2 subway lines. Lots of restaurants. And a quiet street. The apartment is big and a proper one bedroom, was newly renovated and easily fit 3 people. Comfy bed and couch. The host had excellent communication. We’ll be back!

Upper east side NYC

Staying at this location was amazing, near MTA lines, fine bars and restaurants also have tons of fast food restaurants options near by. Having stayed at NYC before and it being noisy at previous locations that I have stayed at, this location was quite, streets are clean, and not heavy congested with traffic, This location is also close to museums.

Perfect location for a mini NYC vacation

We’ve just spent three days in Jay’s apartment and we had the perfect little vacation in NYC. The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious for the three of us. The apartment is located near many shops and restaurants, and a few minutes from famous landmark. Jay was also easy and quick to communicate with.

Wish we could have stayed longer

This is a more than comfortable NYC apartment experience. It is spacious, quiet, and affordable. We used the sleeper sofa ( which was very comfortable - wow) and the also comfortable bed. The location makes it easy to explore from. We did have difficulty balancing the water temperature to a temperate level. Jason is an extraordinary host! He is easy to contact, more than helpful, and eager to welcome new visitors to his city. Our only regret was that, because there was a booking immediately after ours, we couldn’t extend our stay longer.
