Being half Norwegian and half Greek I kindly suggested to my husband to resettle in Crete. So we did in the beginning of 2023. Having worked with service, restaurants and hosting for most of my proffessional life, I missed these guest meetings in the beginning. Both my husband and I appreciated this opportunity to host when it came along to do the renting for private owners.

Easy - nature, and vegetables, and olive oil, and people, and local taverns and, puh:)
Sea and mountains close and availiable. Within a day you can hike the mountains, gorges or simply stroll between the olive groves, then go swimming and relax on the beach after. Note - when hiking, bring more water than you think, good shoes/boots and check the route you plan with locals or other people before you go.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
This is a down to earth, cozy apartment in good condition with a private pool 2.2m deep at the deepest. It's private, yet not far from nearby villages with all needs covered. The owner is a kind medical researcher passed 70 years, still going strong. He bought the house after travelling for many years to Crete and is looking forward to harvest and share his newly planted fruit trees and more. If you're coming at the right time now might be lucky to pick graps (late summer) and oranges or lemons late winter/spring.
The inside area is not big, but cover all basic needs and has the ability to stay cool most nights during the summer.
The outdoor space where you'll spend most your time has different views around the pool and there are shaded places around the house for everyone to find their private room when needed. With less than a kilometer from Almyrida a rented car is not a must, but recommended. Especially in the hot season. THe hou
