It was very relaxing & scenic to stay in Nancy's place. We really enjoyed the outdoor living space and being close to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked & the TV had many options for viewing movies.

Loved this little weekend getaway. I had never been to Vashon before and I’m glad we chose to rent this vrbo to experience it. Instructions were pretty clear, the amenities were great, and the view was incredible.

This was perfect for our quick weekend visit! I have family on the island so I am sure we will stay again! Love the close access to the beach and the pretty view from the yard. Hopefully next time we will have more time to enjoy the fire pit, etc.

Amazing experience on Voshan Island. Didn't know what to expect but loved the island vibes and kind folks throughout. Nothing fancy or atypical about the rental, got what we paid for. Location was ideal being able to walk to beach. Kitchen was well supplied, and stocked to cook anything. Utlized grill and there was a nice firepit we regret not having time to use. Traveled wiht my daugher and we joked throuhgout it was a couples vrbo so not ideal for bigger groups. We borrowed paddle boards, wheel transportation were in direpair but we lugged them down the hill, totally worth it to be able to be on the water on SUPs.

Our three-night stay at this house was generally good. The house was spotless and well-equipped with all the essentials. However, there were a few drawbacks. The patio furniture was neglected and in poor condition, with wet and moldy cushions. I have a phobia of spiders, and there were numerous webs around the patio. Additionally, the bathroom sink was clogged, making it difficult to drain water. Another issue was the lack of a thermostat to control the room temperature. We were forced to endure some cold nights and had to wait until the owner upstairs turned on the heat. Although they provided an electric radiator, I felt it was unsafe to use if you have small children or pets. The radiator and the cable also got extremely hot. I usually prefer renting houses without the owners on the property, but I should have checked before booking. Despite these concerns, we met the owner, and she was very kind and pleasant. The view of Mount Rainer from the patio is spectacular.

The stay here was AMAZING! so so worth it. The amenities provided, especially in the kitchen, were great and very helpful (above and beyond). Spices, tools, pans, and glassware was plentiful and the kitchen appliances all worked really well and made our stay so nice as we knew we could make breakfast or snacks and then go out for fancy dinner. The outside of the property was beautifully kept and so perfectly poised above the beach that it made for a wonderful coffee-sipping spot. The hostess was so kind and understanding when we checked in late, and the check in/ check out processes were clear and simple. We were so appreciative of a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. The bathroom was lovely and shower super nice. The bed was comfy and the tv was great! We super enjoyed the DVD player and DVD collection and the signed in rental Netflix that we used to watch movies as well. Went to a wedding and told everyone they needed to come back to Vashon and stay here! Helpful hosts, super clean apartment with fun decor and comfortable bedding. The place was above and beyond expectation.

Stayed for a couple days and cooked breakfast dinner while we were here. Kitchen is well equipped, comfy bed, and plenty of entertainment options (movies, table top games, backyard seating with fire pit). It was perfect for having a game night with a couple friends. Absolutely stunning views, would love to stay here again in the future!

The location is great, very private and relaxing - near a mellow beach. The house was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. Host was helpful and friendly, but not intrusive at all. Highly recommend! Would stay again.

Relaxing Sanctuary

Beautiful location, darling studio with amazing views of the water and Mt.Rainer, access to beaches a just quick serene walk down the hill (or a 1min drive) Property owner highly accommodating and responsive to inquiries and needs. Highly recommended and will definitely be booking this gem in the future

Clean, cozy place to stay with great views of the beach. Was a bit disappointed to see the condition of the kayaks and paddle boards (full of pine needles/dirt, and the paddle board full of water) and find out that the beach wasn't as accessible as we had imagined it would be. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay, and walks on the beach.

This rental has a beautiful view and is walking distance to the beach, only 5 min. It is well stocked. However, getting in through a rickety front gate was a chore with luggage. Then there is another gate you have to open and keep shut. The biggest negative issue for me was the air conditioning. It was running all day and evening in a basement on Vashon which is cool without air conditioning. It wasn’t just cool, I froze. I had to go outside to get warm. The air vents appeared to be closed. Another problem is the rental needs a deep clean. There was what looked like blood on the steps to the shower, thus I didn't use it. I took pics. The furniture and counters were dusty and gritty. The outside seating needs a clean as well. The cushions were very dirty and the lightbulbs hanging under the upper deck were filthy and full of cobwebs. I believe this rental could be spectacular if these issues were fixed.

I clearly state on the bulletin board how adjustments to the cooling and heating can be made. You did not request anything regarding this. I dont understand the negativity re the gates. I have a dog and the gates keep the guests dog away from mine. I have been pet friendly, there the gates. I will ask my cleaners about the countertops and bathroom cleaning. They are instructed to wipe everything down of course.sorry you had such a negative experience. I will be admonishing my cleaner about your complaints. I must say yours is the first negative complaint we have had all summer.

Peaceful Getaway Surrounded by Nature

Such a lovely location—peaceful and immersed in nature. The beach is walkable, but you’ll want a car to get to town or do any major shopping. That said, the house has everything you need, so just make a grocery stop on your way in.The bed is cozy, the space is warm and inviting, the kitchen is incredibly well-stocked, and the outdoor seating area is perfect for relaxing. The owners are wonderful—I’ll definitely be back!

Wow one of the most beautiful properties I have stayed at. So full of nature and a overall scenic views! Communicating with Nancy was very seamless just message through the Vrbo app. We had a few hiccups with the power and Nancy was very helpful and understanding. The whole property felt like an oasis and I felt so at home there. I will definitely be back it all surpassed my expectations. Thank you so much for this slice of heaven.

Our stay in this unit was delightful. The space is cozy, comfortable, and well stocked. We were not guests until the end of October, so the weather didnt allow a lot of use of the lovely patio area with a spectacular view of Rainier, when she could dodge the clouds! The temperature was warm in rhe unit and is controlled by the owner's thermostat, but Nancy informed us of adjustable vents which helped the situation. She also promptly came to our aid for a TV remote issue for Netflix. We thoroughly enjoyed three nights on Vashon at this site!
