You have access to the entire 1st floor apartment which is a spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit with an enclosed sunroom/porch, in our owner occupied 2-family house. The house is a well-maintained older home with character and charm, beautiful hardwood floors and other vintage details. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, large closet and a desk, while the second bedroom is a flexible room with lots of natural light, and can be used as an office or a bedroom (or both)! There is a desk and a queen sized murphy bed, which allows guests to fold the bed completely away and use the room however you prefer. The living room has comfortable seating, Smart TV, and a record player to enjoy music on vinyl. You also have access to dedicated laundry in the basement (washer and dryer) as well as the shared backyard space with a fire pit and propane gas bbq grill. Just let us know if you would like to use either, and we can get you set up.
Maynard is a walkable and bikeable residential town with a downtown area. We are located just one block away from Mill & Main, a large brick & beam office park, and a 5 minute walk to downtown Maynard. Downtown Maynard boasts many conveniences and amenities, such as restaurants, a brewery, boutique shops and even an independent movie theatre! There are also basic necesities like a pharmacy, convenience store and Anytime Fitness. The Assabet River Rail Trail is a bike path that runs right through Maynard, connecting it to neighboring towns, conservation land with hiking trails, commuter rail stations, and more. By car, we are less than a 5 minute drive to the Assabet Coop Market with groceries, fresh produce and local finds and also a 5 minute drive to Maynard Crossing @ Digital Way, a shopping center that hosts a mix of specialty brands and restaurants, such as Market Basket, 110 Grill, and Planet Fitness/F45/Cycle Bar. In the fall, make sure to enjoy the beautiful New England leaves changing and apple picking and cider donuts at nearby orchards!
