Just steps away from the ocean and bay, this newly furnished studio condo with luxury designer details was built in 2011 and is just what you need for your beachside retreat. The seaside getaway with modern conveniences is located at the southern tip of famous Mission Beach and a short walk to stores, groceries and eateries. The ideal place to spend a quiet and relaxing vacation. Great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
We live only 15 mins from location, since we respect your privacy, sometimes little interaction.
This is the quieter side of south mission beach away from the loud party scene of Pacific Beach. A community neighborhood with respectful and easygoing neighbors. We hope it will meet all your needs for a relaxing, restful retreat!
Door codes will be texted to you on day of arrival. Please note that check IN time is 3pm. When other guests check out at 11am, we to do our best to get it ready for you by 3pm. NO early check ins during busy summer season.
to OPEN lock, press the small button Schlage, then enter your 4 digit door code. Push down on door handle and the door should open. To lock from inside turn the deadbolt. To LOCK from OUTSIDE, just press the schlage button. It will make a sound as it locks. then, you should test it to make sure it's locked.
Relax at our fully furnished studio condo. Full luxury kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Hardwood flooring throughout unit and in bathroom. New queen mattress (comfortably firm) plus fold out sofa . Art lovers delight; original works of art. Your own designated uncovered parking space #8 located off Strandway ( alley street) is included at no additional charge! Street public lot parking is also available. Small private balcony for fresh ocean air. Note: unit is on the 2nd floor and accessible by staircase.
NOTE: This is a 150 sq foot open plan studio apartment. There is no separate bedroom or living room. Ideal for 3 adults max, 1 adult + 3 children, or 2 adults + 2 children. Please read all descriptions and view all photos prior to booking to familiarize yourself with the size and layout of the unit.
PET FREE Residences - Pets and animals are not allowed in our building under any circumstances. This is for the health and safety of current and future guests and owner's allergies. We appreciate your cooperation. Please search for "Pet-Friendly" listings if you wish to bring your animal. There is a generous number of Pet-Friendly listings that have play and convenience areas for your pet.
The following rules apply with respect to service and assistance animals:
a. A deposit shall not be assessed for service or assistance animals, but guests are financially
responsible for any injury to persons or damage, repair or replacement of property
relating to any service or assistance animal.
b. Guests are responsible for sanitary disposal of all waste products of service or assistance
animals, including removal of waste materials from outdoor areas and disposal of such waste in trash receptacles.
c. The guest shall provide (i) evidence of current immunization, and (ii) veterinarian contact information.
d. Service animals will be in the company of the guest at all times.
e. Assistance animals are not to be left alone in the accommodation unless crated.
f. All assistance animals must be properly leashed when outside the accommodation
and must not be left unattended when outdoors.
g. No animal, either service or assistance, will be permitted to sleep or lie on any bed or furnishings in the accommodation.
It is agreed that the forgoing provisions are necessary components of the reasonable
accommodation that is the subject of this Addendum. Noncompliance with this Addendum
constitutes a violation of the host rules and may authorize the remedies for violations provided, including eviction.
SMART SPEAKERS: -Some of the units in the building are supplied with an Amazon smart speaker for guests to use for playing music, asking questions, etc. Although it is not considered a recording device, if guests feel uncomfortable with the device, we ask them to please unplug it during their stay.
CONSTRUCTION: There is occasionally planned public street improvements in the neighborhood which can temporarily affect power and water services.
Hosts are normally given adequate warning and will let you know prior to any service disruptions. However emergency repairs are possible. As for residential construction, a city ordinance of San Diego prohibits residential construction between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Should you hear any noise during those dates, please be sure to contact the host ASAP so we can cite the offenders. Outside of those dates, there may be intermittent noise from construction during the day in the neighborhood.
SECURITY CAMERA: Note the building is equipped with a video surveillance camera to monitor public spaces. We've had a few instances where there were large parties so the camera was installed to monitor these situations both for the safety of our guests and the hosts.
One parking spot designated for Unit.# 8. As you drive south towards the property, turn right on any street such as Capistrano and then left on Strandway. This will lead you to the back of the building and you will see space #8 Once you park, you can just walk most everywhere (beach, bay, restaurants/bars/cafes, grocery, etc). The bus stop is just a little north of us. It is about 7 mile Uber/taxi ride to the airport.
Super close to the water....2 min walk to the ocean beach/pier or 5 min to the bayside. We are ONE house away from the water! Within a 7 min. walk to pizza/market/liquor store/bar. During peak summer season (June to mid September) there is NO early check-in. If during OFF season and you require early check-in we can possibly accommodate for $25 additional fee - (Please notify us at least 4-5 days in advance). NOTE If you check out late, it is a $50 fee.
