Awesome Ocean View Townhouse deux chambres deux salles de bain avec deux vues de balcon de l'océan.

Ocean Villas # 42 est situé sur l'île Anastasia seulement 10 minutes du centre-ville historique. Le condo a accès à une grande, de style lagon tropical, piscine chauffée avec de belles cascades entourant la zone. La deuxième grande piscine et une terrasse sont juste avant d'atteindre le belvédère impressionnant et promenade vous emmène sur les dunes de la belle Saint- Augustine Beach. Un grand belvédère est à apprécier en famille et entre amis en regardant la belle rue Augustine Ocean.

Working Vacation

We picked this place mainly for being pet friendly and close to the beach. We met some very nice people and the heated swimming pool was a great plus.

Great place to stay

Property was clean, roomy and great location just perfect for what we needed for our wedding on the beach! Only negative we have is we had to search back in our email for the property contract from the owners instead of having all of the information right on the vrbo app that we found the property on. Otherwise our stay was perfect!

A place to stay and enjoy the area

The property location was great. Amazing beach just steps away, 2 pools, and close to everything! The unit was stocked with everything we needed to start our vacation. Lots of towels 😊 The host was helpful and made sure we were comfortable when we arrived. It was the perfect spot for us to stay and enjoy everything that St Augustine has to offer.

Great Property

This property is in a great location and only steps away from the beach. It’s furnished with everything. Although our kids aren’t young anymore the zero elevation pool would have been great when they were younger. Great experience!

The bedrooms are located upstairs. There is one bath upstairs and one downstairs. The unit was clean and nice with plenty of towels and extra sheets if needed. Nice pools and well manicured grounds.

Great location, clean, condo has what we needed. Only drawback was temp difference between upstairs and downstairs. Hard to cool upstairs down to comfortable temp. Other than this a great stay!

Property was very well kept. Plenty of space for our family of four. The beds were slightly uncomfortable. Huge temperature difference between 1st and 2nd floor, hotter on second floor. Overall a really nive place to stay.

Ocean Villas 2nd floor unit

Quite nice but basic. This 2 bedroom unit is on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Everything is as it should be and the condominium facilities are first rate.

Beautiful condo development

Beautiful property and the beach is gorgeous. Perfect place to relax. The actual condo unit is ok... I was not happy with the carpet. Owners may want to consider providing more than one garbage bag for the unit. On a scale of 1 to 10 The condo unit gets a generous 7.

Great Location, Needs Updating

The location is fantastic. We also enjoyed the pool closest to the beach and I'm sure the other pool is great as well. The condo itself was dirty. My daughter walked around barefoot and her feet were black on the bottom.The shower had mold and the shower curtain liner was very moldy. Pretty much everything needs to be updated. The couch was uncomfortable, the beds were sagging. Every single pillow was lumpy. The air conditioning doesn't reach upstairs and it was so hot it was hard to sleep. And it wasn't very hot out when we visited. The check in process was easy.

Great location

I’m not sure if this this is a condo or townhouse since it’s 2 floors and is a walk up to the front door. Great location to restaurants and shopping. Good views , clean, well cared for grounds and pools. (We only used the back pool near the beach which was an easy trip on the private walk) There is plenty of beach gear to borrow- umbrella, chairs, coolers, and a wagon (better than our own). The condo could use a facelift (all original cabinets and rusted balcony furniture) but very functional. AC seems marginal for upstairs bedrooms and mattresses have seen better days. Overall , a pleasant stay. We would return.

A bit stingy with everything

The beds are in need of new mattresses and pillows. Kitchen dishes and glasses were dated and unmatched. The bedrooms were all upstairs and the stairs were very steep and narrow. Not for elderly people. There is a weird set up with the bathrooms. A walk in shower but on the bottom floor next to the front door. The other bath had a tub but it was a Jack and Jill situation. Some kind of rodent droppings on the deck outside the living area. The pool and grounds were beautiful and neighbors were friendly.

Not Exactly what I expected

When we arrived the front door was unlocked. Also the front door was difficult to lock wasn’t shimmed properly. I informed the owner but they didn’t seemed concerned. Well to start the cleaning company left debris under the futon couch my child had to sleep on first floor. Both deck doors were missing handles and had pieces of wood to prevent You from opening. It safely. The deck furniture was old. The tvs were both outdated.. The carpet had a lot of dog hair which caused my wife’s allergy problems. The beds were very lumpy and needed mattresses replacement. Many of the pictures shown in location aren’t accurate. The community pools were nice. The beach was gorgeous. Checkout was nightmare we cleaned the apartment better than it was when we arrived. Patty’s cleaning service made up bogus dog poop story in apartment. We had no pets on property. Patty doesn’t like to go through vrbo so she can keep the security deposit. My recommendation don’t rent from her period. They are not honest and don’t provide a safe or caring environment.

Excellent location, unit needs updating

This condo complex is in an excellent location, and the location was the best part of our stay. We arrived to find that our unit had not been thoroughly cleaned, and there was dog hair everywhere. In addition, there were numerous pet stains on the carpet in the 2nd bedroom. The host (mgmt co) was very responsive when we called them the evening that we arrived. We asked to move to a different location but none were available. They sent someone to clean immediately. We would have appreciated some follow up contact by the mgmt co after the recleaning. The carpet upstairs needs a professional deep cleaning or replacement, and the upstairs bathroom needs to be recaulked. The pull out couch only seats two comfortably while watching tv and is very uncomfortable to sit on. We did not open the pull out. The owner should consider purchasing a larger, comfortable couch and updating the kitchen. The outside furniture on the main floor balcony is in dire need of replacement. The sliding doors do not lock and are secured by wooden poles. The only items in our starter kit were dishwasher tabs, a roll of paper towels, and two rolls of toilet paper so be sure to bring your own dish soap, sponge, hand soap, bath soap, shampoo, extra toilet paper, etc. We are frequent travelers and learned a valuable lesson about booking last minute during a busy time.

Great Beach Condo

Our family (2 Adults, an 18yr old and our furbaby) stayed for 4 nights. Here are our thoughts: Positive Review: 1. Condo was equipped with everything you would need for the kitchen, also plenty of towels, linens and we loved the closet full of beach gear! The condo is only supplied with some starter stuff so definitely bring extra garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher tabs and laundry supplies. I am glad we were told ahead of time by the property management in the contract so we were prepared. 2. Pools, beach access are steps away. Loved how close we were to the beach and it was so nice, clean and not crowded. 3. Location/Proximity to local attractions. Publix, ice cream shops and a great Mexican restaurant (Taco Libre) are minutes away. 10 mins from the Lighthouse and 20 minute drive to Old St. Augustine/Fort area. 4. Loved that the bedrooms were upstairs and they were quiet. 5. Harry, the property manager was great and responsive to any question or need that came up. 6. Condo really was comfortable and felt like our home away from home! It is definitely pet friendly too! Negatives: 1. Condo is located on a 2nd floor. (We knew ahead of time) but if you are schlepping a lot of stuff, just know there is no elevator and it's 2 small landings to the door. 2. AC 2nd floor master bedroom...room does not cool down, it is really hot up there. Harry was kind to send an AC tech the morning after we checked in to check the AC. AC tech confirmed that it works, especially downstairs but you have to lower the temp really low to get the rooms to be at a comfortable temperature upstairs to be able to sleep. 3. Twin beds in 2nd bedroom -- mattresses are really hard. Our 18yr old was really uncomfortable sleeping on one of the beds. We even put extra blankets for more cushioning but it was still really hard. 4. Only one pool was opened during our stay and it caused the other pool to overflow with people. It was hard to enjoy so we only went once and spent the rest of the days at the beach. 5. Would have appreciated a map layout of where things are (i.e. pool, beach access, dog areas, where to throw out the garbage, etc.). We had to ask neighbors / explore around to figure it out. Overall we had a wonderful, relaxing vacation here and we look forward to coming back and staying here again.
