Perfect Beach Stay

This property is a beautiful . Great location on the ocean and close to town. The condo was clean and well stocked with comfortable beds! It was a pleasure to stay here and will definitely try to stay here again! Having the Guy Harvey resort next door was great because we walked next door for dinner twice during our stay!

Perfect location. Close to beach and nice to have pool. Close to store to pick up food. Very close to historical St. Augustine and close drive to local beach restaurants. Would come back and stay. Property description match actual.

This condo was amazing - and exactly as described. We appreciated the furniture on both balconies to take in a view of the ocean. It was absolutely spotless, with a well-stocked kitchen. I will try to stay here again on our next trip to St. Augustine.

Great trip and great stay. Communication with property owners could have been better though. We lost power the last night of our stay and it was hot and dark while packing but it did come back on around 11pm when we were trying to find another spot to stay in.

We truly enjoyed this property. It was a lovely condo. Beautifully decorated and had all the amenities of home. The property was clean and well cared for. We loved the pet friendly option. Our family (adult children) had a much needed winter retreat

Loved Ocean Villas #24

Unit #24 is newly renovated and really lovely! The decor is light, bright and airy! I loved the location as it sits beside the beachside pool and even has ocean views. My parents stayed in a unit in the back section and it was kind of dreary. We loved it so much we have put it on the list to reserve the next time my family gets together in St. Augustine!

Beach getaway

Overall a good value. Unit on second floor which enables you to view one of the pools and bits of the ocean from either balcony. Short walk to ocean and no steps to traverse it’s all ramps. Nice that there are two pools one from 0-4 ft for the kids and another 3-6ft for older kids and adults. Grounds are well kept. Parking is a little tight for larger vehicles but was always able to locate one near condo. Grandkids loved it.

Great location

The property has a great location 2 nice swim pools and right on the beach. Very good communication with the property manager. The floors were a little sandy feeling when we got there but wasn’t a big deal to us we just swept up the floors. I would say if you are older this condo may not be the best one only because the bedrooms are upstairs and to get to the condo you have to walk upstairs. I definitely had a good leg work out while we were there. 😆 Over all it was a great mini vacation and I would definitely stay again.

Great Location and Excellent Ocean Views!

We had a fun family vacay at this property! The ocean and palm tree views from the master bedroom balcony were especially awesome! I loved waking up and seeing the ocean. Also, it is a short walk to the beach and zero-entry pool. The property itself is true to the pictures listed and is renovated. As far as cleanliness, there was sand and dirt on the floors when we arrived. Luckily the property manager was able to send housekeeping out to clean them fairly quickly. Also, the outdoor furniture in the balcony off of the family room needs to be cleaned. Overall, though, we had a great time and enjoyed the close proximity to restaurants and stores!

We love Ocean Villas

We love St Augustine and staying at Ocean Villas. It’s a great property with a lot of room. This particular place was not the cleanest. The kitchen and bathrooms could have been cleaner. I noticed all the silverware looked dirty the first day so I rewashed them by hand and didn’t realize until we ran the dishwasher the first time that it didn’t work. The soap compartment didn’t open at all so I realized everything were had been using had only been cleaned with water. Other than that it was a great stay and very comfortable. We had a great time and would stay again.

As advertised, but run down

The property was as advertised, but run down and did not have any shelves or even a soap dish in the entire house. I wouldn't rent it again. It was not clean when we arrived, as there was still sand on the floors and dog hair on the some beds, and the window-ed doors leading to the balconies were cleaned poorly. The realty company did send cleaners immediately to re-clean, but they never touched the doors, so there was a film all week. There were no cleaning supplies in sight, so we could not even do it ourselves. It was probably the most poorly stocked house we've ever rented. However, the realty company reacted quickly to the cleaning situation and also brought towels and a hair dryer on another day.

Updated unit

Beautiful updated unit. Overlooking the pool & pretty view of ocean from the balconies. Lots of dogs at the property but very well kept. Our downstairs bathroom door would not close when we arrived but Sunshine Realty was very responsive and had someone out to repair it the next day. The bunk bed in the 2nd bedroom was a big hit. The only negative which is a big one for us was that the pool ruined all of our bathing suits. Completely faded & changed the color of them on 3 different days. I called and went to the maintenance office on property about this issue with before and after pictures of the swim suits but did not get a very kind response, unfortunately.

Quick Family Vacation Review

The location of the condo to the beach and pool was perfect. The condo is very close to many good restaurants and ice-cream shops (Mayday!-Yum!). it is also a short drive to downtown St. Augustine. The decor is updated and cute. It would have been nice to have six regularly sized chairs around the table. Our biggest complaint was the bedrooms, both located upstairs were exceptionally hot. This made getting a good nights slee nearly impossible. There were ceiling fans but they did not provide much relief. The ceiling fan in the queen/bunk room only circulated air if you were laying on the trundle of the bunk bed. The bunk bed was also very creaky. Blackout curtains would have been nice in the bedrooms as there is a light of light due to being in a condo complex. We had issues with the garbage disposal but contacted property management and it was resolved quickly. The closet between the bedrooms was the perfect spot to store your clothes and other items so you didn’t feel like you were living out of a suitcase. The chase lounge in the master balcony was a nice touch. Things that could make the rental better: -beach toys -Bath mats when you get out of the showers -beach towels -hair dryer

Everything was perfect! From the super easy check-in all the way through to check out, we had a wonderful stay. The condo is beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, and a great location. We can’t wait to come back!

My best friend and I really enjoyed staying at Ocean Villas. The beach was great and the condo's are well maintained. The grounds are beautiful. We would come here again for sure.
