Welcome to our vacation home!

Located 3 minutes from the beach on foot, this house offers comfort and tranquillity all year round. The house consists of a kitchen open to the living room, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Just around the corner you have all the shops you need for your well-being!

The house is located in an old fishermen's street next to the beach and was completely renovated. Our intention was to create a quiet, comfortable and functional home where family and/or friends could relax after a day of leisure. It has calm and neutral colors alluding to the beach. Its decoration is simple and functional, with plenty of storage space in order to respect the organization of each family or the individuality of each member of the group of friends. The open kitchen next to the common areas (lounge / dining room) allows people to interact well. However, private spaces are also well defined and functional in order to respect moments of rest and privacy. The house is also designed for children. The room with two beds was designed so that the children have enough room to play. The oven has a safety device and all the windows open vertically, allowing to ventilate the house while keeping the children safe.
There is also a protective barrier on stairs for the safety of toddlers. The bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet and storage space. The kitchen has the necessary utensils and is equipped with a stove, a refrigerator and storage space.

The apartment have a self check-in locker, no need to be worried about the time of arrival.

The house also provides free WiFi internet and a television with dozens of channels available.
People staying in the house for 5 days or more have access to the washing machine and can hang up linen outside.

Growing up in the old part of Lisbon in Alfama, I enjoyed saying good morning to my neighbours and go into their houses to be with them. When I was a kid, I thought that every house was unique and with a diferent smell from each other, different paintings on the wall and furniture placed in different ways - all of that was a reflection of my neighbours' personality. And they liked welcoming me at their home!

This property is my vacations house, it was renewed to accomodate my familly and it is at your disposal if you would like to visit and stay to visit this wonderful and magical place of Nazaré.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Every Sunday my parents and grand-parents got together to have lunch, and then we would go somewhere to spend the afternoon. Often times, one of those places was Nazaré due to its short distance from Lisbon, where I lived. Later in life, when I was still dating my husband, we would also go to Nazaré for a get-away. He also enjoyed it, because he had grown up by the beach as a kid, in the coastal north of the country.

Nazaré brings together our childhoods: near the beach, where my husband grew up, and old Lisbon, where I grew up. The narrow streets, the local market nearby with fresh and daily food, the amazing Atlantic ocean and neighbours who know each other for centuries make Nazaré a special and unforgettable place.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

It is an old fisherman's house. Nazaré is one of last standing pure and active fisherman community in Portugal. In the old days, the fishermen kept his fishing tools in the ground floor of these houses by the beach, and lived in the first floor of the same buiding. Our property, although modern and renewed, gives you clues of how they lived back then.
