The Stetson mansion Athens theater, Parks: Hontoon Island State Park ,Lake Beresford Park and blue Springs State Park, where you can find the manatees paddling along the St. John’s river and a place where you can swim in freshwater Springs, take a scenic Drive for motorcycle rides or you can visit our popular Atlantic beaches. See the wildlife at the reptile discovery center while visiting. Deland wings murals is a popular photo op spot ,you can explore the Deland sculpture walk and Deland historic mural walk. Downtown Deland, which has been recognized as America’s best main streets.

Great location, beautiful place and convenient to town. The only thing, the beds could be nicer for the price. Sheets were a little cheap and the mattress could have been softer with a mattress cover. Nice neighborhood!!

Our time returning to downtown Deland

If you’re reading this, you have made it to the listing for a wonderful VRBO option near downtown Deland. Not only is the home you are looking into spacious and family/friend ready, it also is tucked away from the hustle of Woodland Blvd, heart of downtown Deland (so if you’re like us and go, go, go all day it’s a great place to come out your feet up later on).We noticed many items in the home looked brand new, and to that note I appreciate the cleanliness and attention to detail in the preparation for our stay. We were in town for a family friend’s wedding and had another couple plus a friend and his toddler stay with us. There was more than enough room for everyone and for the most part, was toddler safe as well; which includes more age ranges this home would be very suitable for whether you’re a Stetson Alumni (like me!) with a growing family coming for Homecoming, or someone looking to enjoy blue springs, there is comfort knowing your little one can’t bump into corners and fragile things in a rental. I did end up moving some decorative pieces to a closet while the little one was there just in case, but otherwise we loved having a full kitchen, dishwasher, comfy couch(es) and some separation with bedrooms. I would recommend to the host to add a tower fan in the twin room, and also the bedrooms without ceiling fans and also add a mattress topper to the master bed. I slept good, but those who love plush beds may not enjoy the beds. All in all, it was a great place! 8/10!
