This charming 2 bedroom (4 beds), 2 bath, updated 1940s cottage is in the heart of the Deland, Florida Historic District. Sip your morning coffee in this quiet setting while rocking on the front porch. We’re just a few minutes from beautiful downtown Deland, awarded the “Best Small Town in Florida,” with its unique shops and antique stores. Eat at local restaurants and cafes with outdoor seating Our cottage is only 2 blocks from Stetson University.
All American Rowing Camp for Sculling on the St. John's River start Dec 30-Jan 03 and each week through February 2024

Quaint, charming, SAFE, adorable property. Renee is the PERFECT host, even having decorated for my birthday! Everything you need is right there. And so close to Stetson University and the historic district. Perfect place!

Such a great beautiful cozy home. It made you feel like you were home. The kitchen was supplied with everything you need. Renee was awesome. Would stay there again.

Perfect Deland stay

Clean and roomy. Renee provided every possible amenity. The house and furnishings were very charming. We highly recommend staying there and we hope to do so again.

Best Host!!

Such a wonderful stay, Renee was very accommodating and we loved all the personal touches. She is very easy to reach and goes above and beyond. The house is wonderful! Very clean, looks just like the pictures. Great bed, wonderful AC and hot showers! The neighbors are super friendly and we loved walking our fur babies around the neighborhood. We couldn’t ask for more. Even our fur babies loved it! Close to everything you need. Again thank you Renee for being such a wonderful host, we can’t wait to return!!

A lovely little cottage

This is a charming cottage in a quiet part of DeLand, close to Stetson and a 15 minute walk to the “downtown” part of DeLand with restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our short stay.

Best hostess ever (Renee). House was very well furnished with anything you could possibly need. Clean, walking distance to downtown and university. Quiet neighborhood. Will be returning for sure.

Cute-Clean-Just Perfect!

I recently stayed here with a girlfriend as we had an event to attend at a nearby state park. This cottage has absolutely everything we needed from the kitchen to the laundry to the linens and even a couple things we had forgotten like Q-tips and Band-Aids! There were even camp chairs and a cooler! Renee was a wonderful host and even provided a vegetable steamer when I inquired if there happened to be one available or I could bring my own if needed
 If I ever need to travel to this area again and I hope I do, this is the place I will book again!

Perfect Cottage!

Very comfortable and charming cottage. It had everything we needed, plus more! The house was stocked with plenty of basics and extras! Very clean and the house manager was very responsive. Location was perfect with being so close to downtown.

Nice place and helpful host

Very close to downtown and the University. House was well stocked. Host provided items such as bottled water and free snacks. Great communication when we had questions. The only negative was the mattress in the main bedroom which was very uncomfortable.

Deland a nice college town

Stetson University is just a couple blocks away and the old homes, live oaks and buildings are most charming. Plenty of restaurants, Walmart. aldi, whatever you need close by. House is real nice and well provisioned with kirchen tools, bath towels, t-paper, etc. Nice bottle of wine, plenty of water, and even some tea-vodka drinks. TVs work fine with Roku but bring your netflix-etc passwords if you want movies. Internet was great. beds comfortable.

Easy to live there

I enjoyed my week at Renees house very much. It felt quiet and safe. The neighborhood was only noisy on Sat night! She has provided many useful items. The very soft big bed forced me to sleep in a twin bed in the front room that gets the streetlight but i told her about all that. Not fancy but cozy.

Absolutely Adorable

I have stayed in many vacation rentals in the past. I rank Blue Moon Cottage one of the highest. First time ever greeted with a huge snack tray, cold bottled water and personalized welcome note! Super clean with comfortable bedding and a cozy cottage atmosphere. Small enough for two and large enough for a family. Close to historical downtown with off the street parking carport. Deland has so many things to offer and is a great location. Close to Disney and Beaches. Great communication with host. Cant wait to return! and

Perfect weekend stay in cozy cottage

We really enjoyed our weekend stay. The cottage is adorable with just the right amount of space. Renee is a wonderful host - she left a lovely basket of snacks and waters. The cottage has all the amenities you can think of. Short distance from the main road and access to stores and restaurants. It was perfect for our short trip to DeLand.

Our stay was great. The cottage was homey, clean and comfortable. We had a lot of options in the area for entertainment. I was there to visit my Daughter and family iin the area, but others went paddleboarding and a loau dinner, we all went to a chocolate shop.

Good Location walk to downtown Deland

The house was very clean and was comfortable for 2 couples. Renee, our hostess made our stay special by providing bottled water, snacks and stayed in touch via text to be sure all was good. We came here to bike and there is good biking around town leaving from the house.Also many other good trails nearby. The home is walking distance to the historic downtown which has lots of good restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe. I would stay there again

This charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath 1940s cottage has been totally renovated and updated to provide you with a relaxing vacation for you and your family. We kept the beautiful hardwood floors that are original to the home. It's a quiet neighborhood and only blocks away from downtown Deland and Stetson University.
We have tried to provide you with everything you'll need to feel comfortable and at home here. If you need anything, please call your host, Renee.
