Beautiful House with Beautiful Views
We originally booked this house for our annual family vacation; however all of my children got busy with work and couldn't come. So we turned it into a vacation with friends and then suddenly it became a small wedding with the guests who were in the house.
The place is beautiful both inside and outside. I know the guests really loved the covered deck outside the kitchen and we had breakfast there nearly every morning. I'm a former caterer so we prepared all of our meals and did not go out. The double ovens are great; the only shortcoming was a griddle rather than a grill (they aren't the same thing at all). The blinds did not work in the master bedroom (which didn't really matter since it is on the lake side of the house and we loved the view so much we didn't want to close them).
One of the couples travels the world joining rowing competitions; they rowed every morning at 6:30am. We brought our own Keurig (the house has Nespresso) and specialty pans for making Dutch Baby pancakes. I loved cooking in the kitchen. Beautiful appliances and all in excellent condition.
A severe storm knocked out the Internet and the Vacasa team was great working with us to get it repaired. If you drive an EV, the house has a Tesla L2 charger outside the lower garage. Our grandchildren loved the sandy area near the firepit where they could play in the sand.
I strongly recommend this property and this is my 4th time renting from Vacasa.
