Apt est lumineux et confortable, avec un grand espace de rangement, des fenêtres insonorisées, un lit queen size ... TV avec wifi inclus. Cuisine entièrement équipée pour cuisiner. Beaucoup de serviettes et draps. laverie automatique à un pâté de maison. De nombreuses institutions culturelles et restaurants Q, B, train autour du coin et 2,3 former trois pâtés de maisons. Train rapide à mi-Manhattan. Idéal pour deux personnes supplémentaires, sur demande. Il pourrait y avoir des frais supplémentaires. Comfortable, well-equipped, with a great location

Our stay was enjoyable. The owner, Sonja, was attentive to ease in the arrival and departure to the property, as well as to our inquiries on use of wifi. Otherwise, access to the property was seamless. The location is excellent, with easy access to transportation and no shortage of shopping and dining options in easy walking distance. The property is two flights up from the street, but this did not pose any problems to our access.

Great location for accessing subway and bus. Apartment is as pictured (no surprises), comfortable.

The apartment is decorated lovely and fits a lot of amenities in a small space. The 3rd floor walk-up faces a busy intersection, so expect lots of city/traffic noise. A nightclub on ground level features live music that plays loud and late. We were tired enough to sleep, but may bother others. The bed is very comfortable and there are plenty of pillows. Bedroom includes large closet (mirrored doors in photo). Kitchen is stocked well with dishes, pots/pans, silverware, paper goods, soaps, and small appliances, as well as full-size frig, stove/oven, microwave. That said, the counters are full, so some shifting is required in order to function. (We served pie to 6 adults.) Pitcher of cold water in frig and box of chocolates were nice welcome touches. Our host, Sonja, met us and pleasantly informed us about the apartment, keys, etc. We were a half hour early and she was a half hour late, so we waited on the sidewalk for an hour since we didn't want to lug our bags across the intersection to the Starbucks, for which Sonja apologized. She promised to call us with the wifi info that evening, but we had to call her the next day. Just be prepared to initiate contact for anything you need. Very nice lady. Living room has a window AC unit and bedroom has a ceiling fan. Bedroom could use a second bedside table; I pulled in a kitchen chair and tray to make do. Keys and doorways worked well; procedure for locking up and making our final departure was easy. Considering the pretty decor, location to transportation access and visiting family, and affordable price, we will definitely plan to return to this rental.

Lots of positives but one big drawback

The apartment is clean, cozy and well located. The one big downside is the bar downstairs. They play loud music until 3 am on Friday and Saturday. On other days they stay open until around midnight. The bass of the music came up through the floor and made it hard to sleep. Otherwise the apartment was very quiet with only occasional street noise.

Convenient location

The location in Brooklyn is great - short distance from three different subway stations that will take you to different parts of Manhattan. It's also a short walk from Prospect Park and various restaurants, cafes and shops in Prospect Heights and Park Slope. The apartment is quite compact but has everything you need for a short stay. The main drawback is the bar downstairs, which made it quite difficult to sleep on the weekends. The apartment can do with some updating and a bit more TLC - it's a bit worn in places. Also, you'll need to navigate two flights of stairs as there is no elevator. Overall, I can recommend the location and the neighbourhood.

Brooklyn beauty

The apartment is in the hub of Brooklyn. Located on a main road it has aces to everything you could want in in a NYC experience. Located near shops restaurants, 4 main train lines, buses outside the door and only 15 _20 min from manhattan. Shopping strips in ealking distance and the perfect location without manhattan prices. Loved everyhing about our stay here. Chic apartment and a great stay

Perfect location

The apartment has all the amenities. A fully equipped kitchen, a full bath, a nice size living room and a separate bedroom. On the street is a drug store, a grocery store and several restaurants . Plus across the street is a B,Q subway stop.

Great location, lovely place!

We returned to this apartment for its great location to family and subway in Park Slope. Nice living space, separate bedroom, well equipped kitchen. (Note: Bring your own can opener.) Location continues to be very noisy, just have to get used to it. AC was wonderful!

Great place ... Has everything you'd need

The apartment is exactly as pictured. The apartment has every kitchen amenity/appliance a person could possibly need or use. The a/c cooled the unit nicely. Something people need to know, which didn't impact us, is that it's a walk up and there is a bar downstairs. None of this had any impact on us and we even went to the bar. The restaurants to the left and right are awesome. The owner's of the market down the block are friendly and had everything we needed. Keyfood is around the block and the location is perfect! The apartment was super cool and everything worked. Thanks for making this a great stay!

Excellent Brooklyn Location!

The property is tucked away in Brooklyn with access to anything you would need. We felt safe at all times! There is noise due to city life however it’s nothing intolerable ( the club down stairs was not an issue). It has a Starbucks across the road as well as a farmers market. There is plenty of food choices within walking distance as well- we loved Sweet Chicks. ( the chicken and waffles is a must have). Sonja was an excellent host and was only a phone call away! She was super helpful and accommodating- I highly recommend this place if you are considering somewhere with quick access to Manhattan as the “Q” train is directly across the road. We loved our stay here!

Excellent location.

The location was amazing, host fantastic but the accommodation was only ok. The bed was not to our liking as it sunk in the middle. The bedroom fan could not be put above level 1 as it made a terrible noise. Also the noise made from outside can be clearly be heard.

Great location. Nice, clean and well-equipped apartment.

I stayed six nights at the apartment with my daughter. We appreciated the location with subway and Starbucks across the street. It was easy to take the Q train to Manhattan. The location in Brooklyn and the trains gave us a sight to life of local people. Brooklyn Museum and its Frida Kahlo exhibition was close to the apartment. We had to struggle a bit with the locks and the keys, especially at the beginning of our stay. But we learned and managed to get in and out every time. The stairs in the hallway are steep and narrow, but we managed to get our luggage up to the apartment. The apartment was a bit cold at the beginning, but we contacted the host and with her instructions it became warmer. The bed was comfortable and the wifi worked well most of the time. The noise from the street and the music from the bar downstairs were disturbing at the beginning, but we got used to them. All in all we were happy with our stay.

Loved our stay. Would highly recommend.

We have recently returned from a 12 night Christmas and New year holiday in this lovely apartment. The apartment was very clean and homely and had everything you could need for a stay. The location was perfect..opposite the 7th ave subway and a 15/20 min journey to Manhatten. We looked forward to returning after a long day sightseeing and getting in to the very comfy bed. We spent a lot of time exploring the local neighbourhood Park Slope. Treelined streets with Brownstone houses. The bars and restaurants on 5th avenue were all very good and the locals very friendly. So much choice and much better value than Manhattan and the tourist traps! We never got to meet Sonja but she was the perfect host and kept in touch throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and explore Brooklyn further. Loved every minute.

Great and comfortable apartment!

Well-maintained and comfortable; great access to the subway and only minutes to Manhattan on the Q line. If stairs are a problem, the third floor might be a concern; the apartment windows are soundproof from the street noise; however, the bar music below continues into hours after midnight. We turned it out. Sonja was available to answer any questions and checked on us. We loved being in Brooklyn vs Manhattan’s crowds and would definitely stay here again. Comfy queen bed too.

Excellent Location

Located in front of 7av station within 20min from Times Sq. in a beautiful and nice neighboorhood. Mrs Sonja is a great hostess and helped us with everything we needed! The apartment is wide and well furbished. There was a little mess with the keys but I think it will be solved in the future, so no problem.

* Great location right next to 7th Avenue station on the subway or if you're a walker a 20-25 minute walk takes you to the start of the Brooklyn Bridge * Great WiFi * Well equipped kitchen * Great sound proofing when windows are shut * Nice, hot shower * Very comfortable and homely (perhaps a few too many personal items in the place) * Note it is up two flights of stairs * Felt secure * Lots of restaurants, supermarkets and a laundrette within the close vicinity * Host a good communicator

Zentrale gelegene gemütliche kleine Wohnung

Zentrale gelegene gemütliche kleine Wohnung. Jedoch wirklich nur für zwei Personen geeignet. Durch die Bar im Erdgeschoss und die Straße ist es nachts sehr laut. Wer damit Probleme hat, sollte die Wohnung meiden. Sonst aber sauber und komplett ausgestattet und wie erwähnt sehr gut erschlossen.

Schöne Wohnung

Sehr schön eingerichtete Ferienwohnung. Ausstattung und Verkehrsanbindung sind gut. Die Bar unter der Ferienwohnung ist am Wochenende sehr laut. Ansonsten alles top.
