Brooklyn Brownstone Full Floor Apartment - wifi gratuit et café. Prospect Park.

Appartement au rez-de-chaussée de notre brownstone / maison de ville de Brooklyn.

La maison a été construite en 1898 et a beaucoup de beaux détails d'origine. WiFi gratuit inclus ainsi que café / thé avec un système de brassage Keurig Platinum. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec beaucoup de tasses, verres, casseroles et poêles, etc. Nous avons récemment rénové la cuisine avec de nouveaux comptoirs en zinc frais.

Les clients peuvent également utiliser notre magnifique jardin avec terrasse avec un mur en bambou, des canapés et une table de cheminée extérieure. Nous vivons dans la maison à l'étage et laissons généralement les invités à eux-mêmes, mais le jardin est partagé avec nous, et nous pouvons parfois traîner près du foyer avec des amis.

L'appartement dispose d'une grande chambre avec un lit queen-size et un lit de repos double qui a également un lit gigogne en dessous. Les deux sont de beaux meubles de restauration. La petite chambre est vraiment juste pour dormir et a un lit double et un autre lit gigogne gigogne en dessous. Veuillez voir les photos.

Pour les clients séjournant pendant les chauds mois d'été (juillet / août), nous avons un climatiseur autonome dans la chambre principale, mais il n'y a pas de climatisation dans la petite chambre ou la cuisine. C'est généralement très bien avec les ventilateurs que nous avons, mais si vous êtes très sensible à la chaleur et que vous avez besoin de la pièce froide, ce n'est peut-être pas le meilleur endroit en été. Veuillez toujours éteindre la climatisation lorsque vous quittez l'appartement pour nous aider à préserver les engery.

A quelques pâtés de maisons de Prospect Park avec de belles promenades, idéal pour le jogging ou le vélo. Le Centre Audubon est juste là au bord du lac avec des promenades en bateau. Au centre de tennis Prospect Park, il y a toujours des courts disponibles à l'heure. Prospect Park accueille également le célèbre Drummers Circle et le grand marché de producteurs de Brooklyn le week-end au Grand Army Plaza.

La cuisine a une cuisinière à gaz Wolf 4 feux, micro-ondes, grille-pain, cafetière, bouilloire et tous les ustensiles nécessaires. La Smart TV a beaucoup de chaînes câblées ainsi que Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.

Interdiction de fumer à l'intérieur ou dans le jardin, pas de fêtes et pas d'invités autres que les invités de la réservation.

Beautiful spot and great location!

This is a beautiful spot. Really close to Prospect Park, convenient access to the subway, quiet street near to many restaurants / delis / other spots, and the place is beautiful. Highly recommend to others.

Great place in Brooklyn

We had a great time. The apartment was perfect for us. It was convenient to transportation and for walking to great places in Brooklyn. We had three adults and just the right amount of space. We loved the kitchen although we didn't really cook. The back garden was lit up in the evening and looked lovel through the kitchen window.

Not clean nor well equipped.

While the property is interestingly quirky, we were not impressed with the cleanliness, location or overall experience. The backyard, while cute, was quite dirty.

we are sorry that the apartment or neighborhood was not what you expected. We always try to keep the photos and description as accurate as possible. The backyard is not dirty and gets cleaned frequently, but there will be lots of leaves on the ground in Fall and early Winter - we do have many trees in the yards - most residents and guests see this as an advantage. That said, these were the most difficult guests we have had in 2017, with constant complaints and issues. It seemed to us, that they probably should not have come to Brooklyn and that their concerns were really with our location - not much we can do about that.

Charming apartment in a interesting neighborhood

We stayed in this charming old-world style apartment for three nights recently - we were a large family group but felt there was sufficient room. The kitchen is lovely, the furniture is great. It is a basement apartment (which I didn't realize before we arrived) although there are large windows. The back door is padlocked, so no access to the back yard (fire hazard?). Easy walk to subway and coffee shops, street is charming. There was some violence on Flatbush (shooting at 3 am) but never felt any hostility on the streets during the day. Very international vibe to the area, with fun food options (one of us is vegetarian).

We are so sorry that you have to be here when that shooting happened. This is rare and everybody in our neighborhood was traumatized. Please note that the shooting happened between 2 people from outside our area who knew each other and at 3am at night. We realize the issue with the emergency exit and have now installed a way to exit the apartment from both sides in case of an emergency.

As promised

This property is exactly as it is described on the Honeaway website. The owners, who live upstairs, are gracious landlords who were responsive to any questions/needs that we had. We stayed with our son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandaughters. The beds were made to accomodate the 6 of us and there were chocolates on the pillows. The property was also outfitted with a Keurig coffee machine with pods, a French press with ground coffee, bottles of water and plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, soap, conditioner etc. The property is on a lovely residential street but Flatbush Ave. with the Q line and a number of Indian, Chiinese takeout and an Northern Italian restaurant is 5-10 minutes away. The property is clean and I would recommend it and would use it again.

Charming Property

My daughter, granddaughter and I stayed for 4 nights while my daughter ran the NYC Marathon. It is located close to my son's apartment and overall, very accessible to the subway system and fast ride into Manhattan. Located on a quiet neighborhood street but close to restaurants, grocery stores and other amenities. This property had everything we needed, including full kitchen and 2 showers in the bathroom. Nicely decorated (shabby chic style), comfortable beds. Weren't able to use outdoor space because of weather, but it looked very nice. The property owners were extremely responsive. Would stay there again.

Delightful apt- Stunning original artwork- Beautiful tree-lined street- Owner/Hosts EXTRADINAIR!

My sister & I chose this VRBO because it was close to my neice's apartment, it was in one of those 'famous' Brooklyn Brownstone homes, and it looked to be full of character & charm, architectural detail, and cool artwork. It was all of the above. But we were most impressed with Sylvia & Andre who were SO gracious & attentive. Not to mention, it's his photography and her oils that grace the walls....its like living in your own private art gallery! There are a couple of neighborhood food markets close by, and a super-friendly neighborhood corner pub, "Midwood Flats", which we loved. We definitely recommend this little ground floor gem! ....and on a chilly night, you must relax by the fire pit in the back garden. We certainly did.

Hi Susan. I am sorry that the oven wasn't working. We looked into it after you mentioned it and it turns out that the previous guest had turned off the gas valve to the oven. It's all good again for the futute

It was okay for the price

When we arrived the apartment was extra warm and smelled stale as if it had been closed up for sometime. After I personally mopped the floors, wipe the cabinets and dusted the apartment smelled really fresh. The location was great we walked to MangoSeed and had a great lunch and drinks.

we are so sorry that the apartment didn't feel perfect for you. We put a lot of effort into maintaining and our wonderful housekeeper usually does a fantastic job at preparing and cleaning the apartment between guests. You arrived when it was super hot and muggy and rainy for a week and that was likely the cause for the apartment feeling not aired out. we'll make sure to check the morning of future checkins that everything is fresh and clean and perfect.

Beautiful and charming and spacious and serene. Short walk to train and several grocery stores and reasonable restaurants; easy run to the Y. Beautifully appointed and appropriately updated. Loved! the garden.

Loved it! Great location in Brooklyn

We loved this Brooklyn Brownstone. And just as the owner described, it felt like we were on Sesame Street! It is clean and had EVERYTHING you need. We were in town for 4 nights and had to attend a graduation. We loved the location just 3-4 blocks from subway entrance. A coffee and bagel shop were close by too. We would definitely rent here again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Fantastic Brooklyn spot

The house was clean and well decorated with lots of character. Very easy walk to the subway. Quiet streets and well lit so I felt safe walking alone. Prospect Park was a quick walk and amazing for my morning runs. I would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Garden Apt with full kitchen 2 blocks from Prospect Park and the Q line to NYC

The space is charming and spacious with 3 beds to choose from (daybed, queen and single), a full kitchen with breakfast table overlooking the back garden area. Just steps to Prospect Park and the fast Q-B lines, it couldn't be more conveniently located if you prefer to be outside the hustle and bustle of the city. As a pet-friendly garden apartment on a beautiful historically landmarked block in Prospect Lefferts Garden, a friendly neighborhood, it was a pleasure walking around in a place where people still say, "Good morning and Good Evening to oone another.'" WIth an abundance of heaters, blankets or fans, depending on your preferred temperature, iPhone chargers and fast wifi and Andre's ready response, you're well taken care of. I used this space as a base camp while I looked for apartments in the area. Sylvia and Andre were great hosts and are my favorite new neighbors. Rent with confidence.

Perfect for our needs.

We had a lovely stay in this basement apartment. Sylvia and Andre were friendly and very accommodating of our family. The apartment is nicely appointed with attractive furniture and large paintings and photographs done by the owners. The kitchen could use some work, but there's lots of room to sit around the table and enjoy a cup of (provided) coffee and a meal. The back patio is very inviting, but it snowed so we didn't get a chance to use it. It's a great location - a quick walk to Prospect Park and to restaurants that we enjoyed.

Absolutely charming!

Sylvia and Andre own a lovely brownstone in a wonderfully diverse Brooklyn neighborhood that features easy transportation into the city and a variety of stores and restaurants. They have preserved the historic character of the apartment while equipping it with the all the appliances, WiFi and TV any traveler could wish for. The outdoor seating area would be most inviting in the warm weather. Additionally, Sylvia was very responsive and helpful when we had a problem with a lost item. We loved our stay there.

Great space! Clean, comfortable and kind hosts

This place was fantastic. The hosts go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. Andre was very kind and accommodating. We liked that it had 2 showers in the bathroom which made it easier for our group of 6 to get ready for the day. The back patio is beautiful and we found the apartment to be really charming. We hope to be back again next time we visit Brooklyn
