- Max Guests: 8
- Parking: 2 vehicles maximum, in designated spots only. No parking on the street.
- Pets: Allowed with a $25/night fee per pet. Clean up after pets, indoors as well ad outside.
- Check-in/Out: Check-in after 4:00 PM, check-out by 10:00 AM. Late check-in/out requires prior approval & extra fees.
- Smoking: No smoking, vaping, or drugs anywhere on the property.
- Parties/Filming: No parties, events, or location filming..
- Quiet Hours: To respect our full-time neighbors, please keep noise levels down between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM
-Trash Disposal: Please use the designated outdoor containers for all trash. Do not leave any waste behind, including items in the fridge
- Fireworks/Open Fires: Strictly prohibited.
- BBQ: Use propane grill only. No charcoal or personal grills. Propane refills can be done at the local DIY
- Damage: You are responsible for any damage to the property.
- Liability: Guests assume all risks while on the property.
- Refunds: No refunds for mechanical issues, power outages, or weather-related issues.
- Snow/Weather: Chains may be required in winter. Snow removal happens when accumulation reaches 4 inches. You may need to shovel if arriving before snowplow service.
- Acts of Nature: No refunds for weather, road closures, or power outages. Travel insurance is recommended.
You have full access to the house, except for a few locked closets containing the owner’s belongings & cleaning supplies. There is plenty of space available for you to store your personal items during your stay.
We are happy to help you with any questions about the city and things to do. If you have any problems while you are here. We are available by phone, text or email and have an emergency person nearby.
We love taking care of guests and giving people the opportunity to create memories in our mountain cabin. Our home can be your home away from home.
- Snow Chains/Tires Required: During winter, snow chains or tires are mandatory per Big Bear/San Bernardino County regulations.
- Steep Access: The road to the cabin is steep & 4-wheel drive vehicles handle it best.
- Snow Shovels Provided: For your convenience, we’ve left snow shovels by the front door in case you need to clear your own path.
As per Big Bear Lake policy (not ours), you’ll need to agree to and sign the City of Big Bear Lake’s "Good Neighbor Policy" before gaining access to the house. We’re also required to verify your identification. This process is done electronically, but you also have the option to visit our check-in office if preferred.
- it is a mandate set by the officials of Big Bear/San Bernardino County. The road leading up to our cabin is steep, 4 wheel drive vehicles do best. In Big Bear Lake, you are not allowed to park or keep your vehicle parked on public roads.
- We have a contract with local snow plow to clean the driveway and the steps leading to the front door. Please understand that on snow days, they will be busy and it can take the entire day for them to make it to the house. For your convenience, we have left snow shovels by the front door.
