This home is curated for a memorable experience unlike any other. We want our guests to enjoy and discover a new kind of space that will transport everyone’s imagination, with a serene nature setting and cozy modern cabin decor. Your stay at Chalet Onyx will be one to remember. We have recently updated the bathrooms as well as new carpet throughout the home!

Every space has been thoughtfully created with a new point of view. Offering a surprising sense of whimsical comfort you haven’t felt before in a Chalet. Our guests will feel the warmth, quaint and storytelling experiences that create lifetime memories for you and your family and friends.

Chalet Onyx is a stunning 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathrooms, 3 Living Room home, minutes from the skiing slopes during the winter, hiking trails during the summer and a short distance to Big Bear Lake and many other activities. One of our favorites is the Big Bear Alpine Zoo. With room to sleep up to eight people, you'll have plenty of space for everyone.
 
The first bedroom on the lower floor is a dream room for the little ones, with a twin over full bunk bed and the coziest bed nook decorated with pillows galore and string lights. This is the perfect place for imaginations to run wild, story telling, or reading books. This room also has a 65” TV, books and toys for hours of fun!

The second bedroom on the lower floor boasts a queen size daybed with the most perfect french cabin decor and plush linens to transport your mind into immediate relaxation. Cozy up in bed at night and watch your favorite show on the 55” TV, and experience a peaceful night sleep in the mountains. The bathroom off of this room was just updated with new fixtures and vanity, and offers a walk in shower.

The garage is also on the lower level and has been converted into a decked-out game room that feels like the perfect blend of man cave and family fun. You will truly feel transported into a magical time with the decorations and furniture.  Enjoy a game of pool, darts, and more. You will even have a small fridge for your beverages, sit back and relax while you watch the big game or a movie at night on the 65” Bluetooth TV.

The spacious deck is set for socializing with a table that seats 6. Lounge seating, BBQ and a hot tub are ready to be enjoyed. There is plenty of space at this stylish and whimsical retreat. A portable Bluetooth speaker is available for our guests to use in the main bedroom.

The main living area upstairs is an open floor plan that is super comfortable with a sectional in front of a lovely wood burning fireplace.  With vaulted ceilings that open up the space, and 2 double glass sliding doors with picture windows above you will experience all the magnificent natural light beautiful Big Bear has to offer. This living area boasts a 65” Bluetooth TV that is perfect for a cozy family movie night. Right off the living room is the dining area and kitchen, outfitted with everything you will need during your stay, including a full coffee bar, beautiful new stainless-steel appliances and a solid wood dining table with seating for the whole family. The dining and kitchen area has plenty of room for everyone in your party to gather together and enjoy your culinary creation.

Just a few steps up from the main living area is the massive suite bedroom retreat. The vaulted ceilings and large windows create a warm and inviting space. The room consists of a CAL King Canopy Bed with luxurious down bedding as well as a large lounge seating area that includes a sleeper sofa, leather accent furniture and a 65” Bluetooth TV. You will have direct access to the patio through beautiful oversized glass sliding doors to go relax in the hot tub, or enjoy your morning coffee on the deck while listening to the birds. This room is relaxing at its finest!

Do not exceed the occupancy limit  
Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of adult  occupants may be less than the total maximum occupancy. NO PARTIES ALLOWED.

No parking in street or yard
Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. The maximum number of vehicles permitted is on the exterior sign.

No amplified music 24/7  
Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.  

Head inside at 10:00 p.m.  
Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

FOR PET FRIENDLY HOMES ONLY, Take your furry friend with you  
Take your dog with you so they do not disturb surrounding neighbors. You will find that Big Bear Lake is very dog-friendly! Please be sure to verify prior to booking that the property does accept pets.

Take trash to dumpster locations  
Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite. Clean Bear locations:
41790 Garstin Drive & 39690 Big Bear Blvd.

Fines  
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation.  

Eviction  
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund. In  addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned.

Important: Dear Traveler, you will be charged with USD 200 in case you include a Pet in your reservation as a Refundable Damage Deposit for Pets.
