Needs attention

This house needs attention. There is much deferred maintenance that needs to be done. Bathroom fixtures loose, toilets running, baseboards need caulking and painting, etc. There is no house manual provided: when is garbage picked up? Gardener or pool service visits? Huge new tv sets, but remotes were wrong and no instructions provided.The location, however, is beautiful..wonderful hiking.

We loved our stay at this house. Location is great and loved the pool in the warm afternoons. Louis was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely home in La Quinta

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this La Quinta Cove home. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, a short distance to the Cove for hiking and biking. Overall, the inside was well appointed and Louis. The owner was very responsive. We did not have use for all the sleep areas, but if you have a large group, it would be great. The king bed in the master id very comfortable. I would add fireplace decorative only to the listing.

I totally enjoyed the lovely back yard and pool but unfortunately there are four security cameras out back and the owner was watching... which I found out when he reminded me to turn off either the spa or pool heat. There is sleeping for 10 (!) including the wall bed in the dining area. This is a Coachella crash pad and is very worn overall. Still, I loved the backyard and mountain views.

February 2021 La Quinta Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfect for walks and mountain bike rides in the La Quinta cove, which is one block away. It is only a five minute drive to old town stores and restaurants. The yard is very spacious, and is best enjoyed from the comfortable lounge chairs with the sunshades down. The kitchen is well stocked and the house has a lot of nice little details. We would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing vacation in the desert.

Okay. More run down than the pictures.

Pros and cons, about equal. The main living area was okay. I spent time cleaning the cupboards in the kitchen, grimy baseboards and light switches on our first day. The washer and drier were in the garage sitting below a dirty , broken window with blinds that were full of cobwebs and dead bugs. The pool and hot tub were nice and the yard was private. We weren't able to use the pool for 6 days because the owner turned off the propane because the tank was low. He blamed us and said we should have let him know it was low. He told us the tank would last for two weeks but it didn't. Also, the pool cover was rotting and the pool was full of blue dots from the cover. Spent 15 minutes trying to clean the pool every time we used it. We pointed the problem out to him when we got there but he wasn't too concerned. He eventually replaced it. We also had a problem with the sink not draining. It took two days to get it fixed. Couldn't use the sink or the dishwasher. This place would probably be okay if you were staying for a week, definitely not for a month, which we did.

Great desert home with pool!

My wife and I along with our two college kids enjoyed a great weekend in the desert. Close to Old Town La Quinta and pollo grounds. Hot tub and pool are great and easy to use. Totally private back yard. Iwould ask for first day or two of pool to be heated or make sure cover is in before you come. Plenty of room for 4 people with 3 nice size bedrooms and two bathrooms. Very clean and organized. Louis is very easy to work with and had everything set up for us when we arrived. Thanks for a great trip. Look forward to next year!

Lovely rental house

The Perfect spot in the Palm Springs Area

I had a wonderful stay in this property! The house is just perfect (a beautiful Mid-Century Palm Springs house), well renovated and furnished with a lot of amenities… The house was super clean and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and the bed I slept in, very comfortable. It is conveniently located, just a few steps from Top of the Cove (nice hiking trails in the Santa Rosa Mountains). The backyard is absolutely gorgeous (quite large compared to other Palm Springs Area houses). We spent 30 minutes every night in the spa; it was fabulous, one of my best memories! To put it in a nutshell, a true pleasure, this jewel is a well-kept secret and I strongly recommend this property.

Calle Potrero La Quinta/The yard and pool were awesome, and the helpful/friendly communication

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! Louis was kind, friendly, and wonderfully communicative and flexible, allowing us to both check in early and check out late. The house was exactly as described, and extremely clean and welcoming. The backyard was absolutely gorgeous--the photos don't do it justice. Having the spa attached to the pool allowed everyone to hang out together and swap back and forth easily. We paid for pool heating, and it was totally worth it (and worked very smoothly). We stayed for Thanksgiving and did a lot of cooking, and found the kitchen to be both well-stocked and well laid-out. It was easy to hang out with others and watch TV while cooking. All in all, an absolute pleasure--we would definitely consider staying again

Perfect Palm Springs Vacation Rental

We stayed at this La Quinta property with our 2 daughters aged 6 and 8 and it was the perfect location and set-up. The girls thoroughly enjoyed the spacious pool and soothing hot tub. The back yard had a huge green space, with plenty of seating through out. A bonus was the oversized recliners with the draw down shades - a perfect hideout away from the hot sun. Inside, the kitchen was well stocked and the rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The master bedroom had French doors that opened up onto the backyard and had a perfect view of the pool. The house was in a nice neighborhood and very private. It was only a couple of blocks away from the hiking trails. Everything else we needed was a short drive away. We would definitely recommend this property.

Amazing, relaxing, peaceful get away

Excellent house with everything you'll need. A block away from a walking park in the hills and very convenient to the grocery store.Very private and secluded backyard oasis. Great house and a great stay.

Beautiful location

We rented this home to have a base camp from which to visit homes for sale in La Quinta. It was the perfect location so we were able to get our work done and relax the rest of the time. To be honest we did not have time to check out the pool/spa but it was great to just look at. There is a very large private backyard. The owner welcomed us with our two dogs. After checking out the house, we chose to stay in the guest room and kept the canine capers out of the romantic master suite, but it was all very lovely. The home was very clean and well kept. We brought back food from the farmers market and cooked meals in the well stocked kitchen. Our favorite spot was the double chaise lounge to relax in the morning with a cup of coffee or in the evening with a glass of wine, enjoying great views of the mountains.

We'll be back!

We really enjoyed staying at this property for our 6 day/night family holiday. It was the perfect size, and had all of the amenities we were looking for. It is in a great location; close to Old Town La Quinta, and also the wonderful natural park is just a short walk away. The host is very helpful and communicative, which is a definite plus. We look forward to staying here again. (MARCH 2014)

Quiet, private, sun-drenched oasis

I was reticent to leave a review for fear of alerting others to this fantastic property. We loved our stay. Pool, daybeds yard are fabulous. View is extraordinary, fully flooded in am to pm light. Pool lounging during the day, star-gazing at night. Kitchen is well-appointed. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Property is large corner lot with complete privacy. Louis is extremely responsive, informative and accommodating. We will most certainly be back.

BEAUTIFUL HOME, EASY RENTAL

I stayed at this house with some friends during Coachella 2014. We had the BEST time! The rooms were spacious and clean, the pool and views were awesome, and parking was easy. The guy who helped out with our rental, Louis, was super nice and easygoing. I accidentally left some items at the home, and he kindly shipped them to me. Overall, a great experience! I recommend the house to anyone.
