This is a smaller, older house in an up and coming neighborhood. No smoking inside. If you smoke outside, please pick up your butts.
This stay was our worst ever. The house was filthy and in disrepair. There were bugs inside. SeveralElectrical outlets didnât work. No towels, wash cloths, or paper towels to be found. We actually left the property after 30 minutes and checked into a hotel. There has been no response from the host. I do not recommend staying at this location or any other this host may have.
Close house that allowed me and my 2 brothers to enjoy the first evening of first four of NCAA basketball tournament. Park at house, walk to arena, and full kitchen and bath to enjoy the stay.
This house is lovely. Everything was great besides the water pressure because of a supposed water main break so we had to rent a hotel on top of the Vrbo to shower. Other than that the place is really cute and the host was very informative
Initially i thought the house was abandoned because the yard was overgrown and completely unkept. Upon entering, the temperature in the house was well over 100 as the A/C window unit in the living room was not on, in preparation for our arrival. The king bed was not made, so i had to search for sheets and pillow cases, that i located in the dryer in the basement. I found only 1 towel in the house. The king bed was comfortable, but the futon was not usable at all and was not made as well. After leaving the A/C to run for 6 hours and returning at night, the bedrooms were still too hot to comfortably sleep. I discovered while trying fix coffee in the morning, that none of the outlets in the kitchen worked. That explains the shelf in the living room with the microwave on it. There is only 1 couch in the living room, so not enough seating for 4 people. The house appeared clean and the location was convenient for my purposes. The linens and furnishings could use an upgrade. I don't recommend this house.
It was ok.
Our biggest complaints are the smell, the futon, the bathroom floor, parking, and the front door.
Although it states it could hold up to 4-6 guests and is a two bedroom, the futon is horrible.. especially for an adult. Our third guest had to sleep on the couch because of how much it hurt her back. I dont mind futons personally but this one wasnt suitable to sit or sleep in. The bathroom shower floor was a little dirty but not horrible. The entire stay outside and in the house had a weird odor, which i assume is from it being pet friendly. It was not disclosed that it is street parking only, and our last biggest complaint is the door would not lock without the deadbolt.. and even then was very loose. I fully believe with both locks that someone could break in.
If it was advertised as a one bed stay for 2 guests and disclosed the parking i would definitely rate higher.
It was an ok stay but needs some TLC. Decor is cute though, and the homeowner was quick to respond over text and was polite.
