My family stayed here over a snowy weekend with treacherous roads. The owner had fantastic communication. The house was warmed up when we got there. Instructions are very clear, and the house is unique and cozy. I highly recommend this location for families!
My family had a great trip to Cooperstown for a baseball tournament. This house was in an ideal location to Dreamspark and downtown. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed staying at the home.
Owners are very accommodating; driveway was consistently shoveled and salted during our snow-heavy stay. House itself is very cozy. Would definitely rent again.
What a wonderful spot for our family to stay while our son played at Cooperstown Dreams all week. Older home but with a lovely and well cared for interior. Fully furnished, with AC (saved us during a hot week), and took to spread out. Responsive hosts and live close by, highly recommend!!
Great country home close to Cooperstown attractions
We came with a group of 6 friends!! Plenty of room for all!! The property has everything you need to enjoy your stay!! Plenty of towels, extra blankets, and paper products. The only thing we were lacking was maybe a few spices. We forgot ours and were hoping to get lucky!! The house is super convenient to town, but outside of town so not as busy, and much more relaxing. It is a very charming older home with lots of original features!! We very much enjoyed our stay, and hope to get back there soon.
We were 2 couples who stayed here over New Years weekend. Despite the frigid outside temps the house was very cozy and met all of our needs. It was well stocked with towels, blankets, etc. Close enough to Cooperstown so that we could enjoy the Baseball Hall of Fame and various restaurants. We cooked dinners at the house and the kitchen had everything we needed. The cold water pipe for the downstairs bathroom did freeze one day but Michael came right away and set up a heater and then continued to check on it throughout the weekend and we never had a further problem. This would not have happened but for the unusually cold temperatures over those days! We would definitely rent the house again and can see that it would be great in the summer as well.
If you are looking for a large farmhouse right outside town this place is great. Very nice older traditional farmhouse, typical of the farming area in central NY!
We absolutely loved staying in this house and will try to book it again the next time we head to Cooperstown. Our family of 3 was able to link up with our friends who have a family of 5 (all 4 children under 8 y.o. and the space was more than enough, including the great backyard and firepit.
Close to everything but happily far enough away too.
5 stars!
It was a very nice place. The home us comfortable and had everything we needed. We were celebrating 60th birthday and Baseball Hall of Fame was on the wish list. The weekend did not disappoint!
We were so fortunate to find a property that was so accommodating to our needs. It was clean , spacious and close to activities we wanted to see. Stores and restaurants were accessible within minutes. Mike and Tammy went above and beyond to prepare for our stay. Our family would stay again!! Highly recommend!!
The house is an old house, with a lot of character. It was less then a 10 minute drive to the baseball hall of fame. Little things like the beds being made up with blankets and quilts or comforters and soft toilet paper made for a nicer stay.
Very comfortable place. We could not figure out the A/C so upstairs was a little warm. We opened the windows but the house is on the road to Cooperstown so a little noisy. Large kitchen, den and enough bedrooms! The old house has a lot of charm and we wished we could have stayed longer than one night.
This house was a wonderful country home. We loved it. Very roomy, clean, well stocked, great kitchen and laundry facilities. The owners were great and provided quick responses. Would have stayed longer if our schedule had allowed.
We came for the week 4 tournament for boys 12u baseball. This house is just ideally located, right between the fields and the town of Cooperstown. Market and drug store just minutes away. The house was darling, built in 1890, the owners have done an amazing job of maintaining it. The owners were very nice and responsive. We found the coffee maker not working the 1st morning and they immediately brought over their own coffee maker! Highly recommend if youâre here for baseball.
We were in Cooperstown for baseball and this property was in the perfect location! Itâs close to the fields, a grocery store, and restaurants. The home was cozy and the owners were so helpful and easy to reach. We had a great stay and hope to get to visit again sometime!
We have been renting this house for over 10 years now and have loved getting to meet so many families along the way. Mike runs a U-Haul business and I get to spend my time sewing and babysitting our grandchildren. We live right down the road if you need anything or have any questions during your stay we can be there in no time!
