The original part of the house was a 1-room schoolhouse built in 1860. This home now features an open floor concept that marries vintage details with modern amenities. There are original hardwood floors on the ground level, wainscoting, blackboards, light fixtures, a water fountain and a claw foot tub which all add to the charming character of this space. The living/dining great room has 15 foot ceilings and features a large flat-screen TV/DVD. A farmhouse table seats 8-10 plus an antique breakfast bar for 4.

Sleeping accommodations are arranged to accommodate a variety of groups. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms - 1 with a king and one with a double bed (size up from twin). A small futon in the living area provides extra sleeping. A bath off the hallway has a shower and a clawfoot tub on the first floor.

On the second floor, there are four bedrooms, a king bedroom with a small (single) futon and en-suite bath. There are also 2 queen bedrooms, and a double (size up from twin) bedroom. There is a 2nd floor bath off the hallway with a shower. An outdoor shower is also available.

Please note that the two double rooms technically accommodate two people, but depending on your comfort level may be more suitable for a single adult.

For family fun and entertainment, there is a game room in a separate 840 square foot building, complete with lounge area and large-screen TV/DVD player, pool table, ping pong, Foosball, air hockey and basketball. There is an extensive ground-level deck area with gas grill, picnic table and seating area. Please note the gameroom is not heated and in the winter outdoor furniture is placed in storage.
