This home is central to everything (more details in listing) and nestled in a safe and quiet neighborhood. This property features a private patio, two rooms with a queen bed in one, twin bed in the other. There is also a comfy long couch in the living room available for sleeping. Amenities include free access to tennis courts directly across from the property, complimentary rackets and tennis balls to use during your stay, free parking in the out front lot or front yard, as well as if you need- extra toothbrush, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There is a hair dryer and iron and mini ironing board available for use. There's a roku tv which includes HBO MAX and Hulu. In the kitchen you have a microwave, air fryer/mini oven, mini stovetop, utensils and cooking tools as well as complimentary coffee. This home has a lot of unique history and retro decor and is fully and newly remodeled and renovated!

Great fun; good location

We were visiting Columbia for an international soccer match at Williams-Brice stadium. This meant we did not spend much time in the rental, but it was an easy and cool landing spot. The owner was great to allow us to park on-site prior to check-in, as we did a rideshare into town. Communication with the owner was easy, helpful, and detailed. I do believe to be fair one should know that the home is a trailer in the side yard of a home property. It's in quite good shape, and is decorated in a chic and cool manner on the inside. It was a perfect landing spot for us to get in late and head out early for a great price....comfortable, quiet, and fun!

Beware, not full disclosure & smells

Pictures accurately depict the rooms, but I reached out 24 hours prior about how to access the property. Quick response with steps and that’s when the host nonchalantly mentioned property was a trailer, not a house. There’s no indication that this property is a trailer anywhere in the description. But host seemed proud of 3 year renovations they did. Arrived to property and trailer looks quite old, run down on the outside. Dirt path to the front door. The front door is dead bolted but flimsy typical trailer front door and my immediate thought was this could easily be broken into. It was not a good feeling. Once I entered the trailer, I was immediately taken back by a strong odor of stale cigarette smoke. I start to check out the space, there’s a curtain off the living room area and a step down to an enclosed “patio” area, that will be important later. I continue to look around and notice the pictures coming together from the description BUT again never indicated it was a trailer. Odor is in every room but the bathroom. In bathroom there’s a used toothpaste tube on the counter, yuck! I start to realize I’m can’t breathe from the pungent odor, my guess previous owner smoked, it was the kind of smell that will never go away, despite 2 air conditioners running. I reached out to host. Claims cleaning service didn’t smell smoke and smoking isn’t allowed except for the patio, the area separated by Curtain to main space! The patio was gross, no pics of that. No other reviews either.

Hi Karen, thank you for reviewing my property. I really wish you the best and feel sorry you are so miserable in your personal life that you feel you must seek to fabricate false negative reviews. Very disappointing, I hope you feel better soon! Not only did I FULLY disclose every detail about the property prior to your arrival but you booked the property twice so it must of not been so terrible for you? There is a five star review visible just days before your stay from another guest who was honest and rational about their stay. Smoking is not allowed on the property unless it’s outside, so again I think the smoke smell accusation was just a way for you to get a free stay etc. very sad you aim for being dishonest as a way to weaponize against my cancellation policy. Everything was and is crystal clear as far as details and photos go of this property. Webster dictionary defines a house as: “a building for human habitation, especially one that consists of a ground floor and one or more upper storeys.“ so I definitely fit that description and my property is not only newly renovated but fully functional and in a VERY sought out safe and nice neighborhood central to everything in Columbia. The patio and entire home was dusted sanitized and well kept prior to your arrival, let’s be honest. There was no smoke smell, you just have unreasonable standards and expectations for a place that cost only 60$ a night.. this is not the ritz Carlton nor do I claim it be. I am very transparent and honest with my guest of what the property contains and looks like. I really hope you find some inner peace in life and happiness someday. The area from the patio is separated by an entire closed and locked sliding door and other door entrance that can be locked. Not sure how you are describing my place. It’s very inaccurate and dishonest. What a shame on you for being such a bitter person and fabricating lies! There are FREE INCLUDED amenities thus explaining the toothpaste. You are welcome. This land has been in my family for generations and the properties for many years too. I love that I am able to maintain this estate and the neighborhood is lovely, people mainly respect the speed limit and it's family friendly and walking friendly. It's a quiet and peaceful area.

I think what makes my property unique is the fact that it has cool history and is newly renovated while also being in such an amazingly central area of town where you are so close to everything.
