This beautiful home was completely renovated just a few years ago; outfitted with modern comforts but maintaining its historic charm! The owners have created much of the art in the home as well, adding some local charm. Featuring 11-foot ceilings, antique interior doors, and even a bar in the kitchen made from the original lath of the home, this stunning retreat is the perfect place for your New Orleans adventure!

Located in the New Marigny neighborhood (listed in the National Register of Historic Places), you'll be steps away from Bourbon & Frenchmen Streets, the French Quarter, and the St. Claude Streetcar Line!

The home features a large, open living space with plenty of comfortable seating, a dining area, a fully-stocked kitchen, in-unit washer & dryer, and a private backyard/courtyard space for relaxation!

Please note that, like many areas of New Orleans, there are neighboring homes that have been completely renovated and some that are in poor condition and awaiting their salvation! The neighborhood is normally pretty quiet, but we are close to the action in the French Quarter, so there are the usual things associated with living near an urban core like pedestrians, traffic, and (during big events) increased activity. The neighborhood may look a little rough in spots, but we've never had any issues with safety here in the several years we've been hosting!

Information Required by Local Laws: This home is not ADA-compliant. There are several steps to enter the home from ground level. There is a noise monitoring device in the home (required by law) that registers decibel levels but has no actual recording capability. There are exterior security cameras on the home for our safety and yours. These do not record any interior spaces of the home, just the exterior, and are active at all times. Permits: 22-CSTR-15452, 23-OSTR-10030

You'll have access to the entire home and everything in it. There is one locked closet, which is where we store our cleaning supplies and other materials for hosting.

We're available 24 hours a day via text or call for any needs that may arise during your stay!

Located in the New Marigny neighborhood, you'll be steps away from the action in the French Quarter, including Frenchmen & Bourbon Streets! There are a multitude of incredible restaurants, shops, and nightlife in the immediate area, so get out and explore!

Ubers and Lyfts are easy to get in this area, and you're steps away from a stop on the St. Claude Streetcar line!

**There is a $200 security/damage deposit collected 3 days prior to arrival, and returned shortly after your stay. This is done as a $200 hold on your method of payment, not a full charge. Please see the rental agreement (required to be read and signed before booking) for more details. ***
1. The booking guest must have their ID uploaded to their profile.

2. Please be mindful of the neighbors sleeping. We recommend being quiet after 8:30pm (weekdays including Sundays) and 9:00pm (weekends).

3. While early check-in / late checkout may be available, this must be arranged ahead of time for an extra fee. Unauthorized Late checkouts are a $50 charge for each hour after 11am - a 15 minute grace period is given. Late checkouts MUST be requested before 9PM the day before your departure.

4. Clean towels are a provided amenity, there is a washer and dryer in the unit if you need a refresh!

5. Smoking & vaping in the unit will result in a $500 deodorization fee.

6. Unregistered guests and parties are prohibited by local laws and ILLEGAL. Our occupancy limits are set by local ordinance. Any guest found to have had a party or over-occupancy will be charged a $1,000 fee for non-compliance with local laws. As of May 2022, all rental platforms have specifically banned parties from their units. Violation of this rule will result in a ban from the platform.

7. Please do not hang or attach anything to the walls with push pins, tape, etc. or other painted surfaces.

8. Please do not use face towels to remove makeup, it damages the towels. There are makeup towels provided for this use.

9. If the space is left excessively dirty $50 will be charged for each additional hour of cleaning required. Removal of bodily fluids will result in a charge of $150. Glitter cleanup will result in a charge of $100.

10. Pets are NOT allowed at this listing. Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 deep cleaning cleaning fee and immediate request to leave. Pet Boarding recommendations available upon request.

11. After you’ve read these rules, please send me a message with the words “yellow kangaroo” it will let me know that you have read the rules thoroughly.

12. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings from “Locals” at this time. Locals is meant to include anyone residing within 60 miles of New Orleans.

13. While we cannot receive any mail or packages to the space we will assist with getting packages shipped to New Orleans if needed.

14. Commercial video and photo shoots are strictly forbidden without prior and authorized consent. Associated day-rate fees, liability waivers and copyright contracts will apply if consent is given.

15. Message us for long term stays.

16. Trash & recycling is picked up on Thursday.

17. All of our TV's are streaming, we do not provide any account information, you will have to log into your own. Please remember to log out at check out. We do not have cable TV.

18. Should you wish to receive an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know the day before and we will determine if it's possible. We require time to prepare the unit for your stay or after your stay for the next guest and sometimes we are unable to accommodate. If we can accommodate, we will charge $25/hour for the additional booking time. This will also be in place for dropping luggage off or leaving your luggage after checkout time has passed. Payment will be requested after your additional time has been approved.

19. Lost Items: We return lost items for a $75 flat fee.  This is to cover shipping costs, along with the time spent to retrieve & mail your item. If you leave anything at the unit, please let us know immediately.
