Bienvenue dans notre spacieux penthouse A. K.A. Maison de la Royal. Situé dans le Faubourg Marigny est une communauté de 200 ans, APA a voté l'un des meilleurs quartiers en 2009. Ce joyau caché, remonte au milieu des années 1800 situé sur la rue historique Royal à seulement 7 pâtés de maisons du quartier français. C'est un spacieux 3,622 pieds carrés avec 4 chambres et 3 salles de bain complètes.

Comme vous faites votre chemin à l'étage "c'est le deuxième étage entier" et dans le salon qui dispose d'une télévision grand écran 71 ", canapé, causeuse, canapé-lit queen size, bar tiki pour divertir. Les portes françaises vous mènent au patio serein où vous pourrez profiter des sons des cloches des églises voisines et des klaxons des bateaux à aubes sur la rivière. Il y a amplement d'espace pour se détendre et se détendre avec des sièges pour 12

La chambre principale a un lit king size, sol en marbre, ventilateur de plafond, 2 walk-in avec amplement de tiroirs, TV à écran plat, cheminée pour les nuits fraîches de la ville, salle de bain principale avec douche, sol en terrazzo, baignoire, comptoirs en granit, peinture murale de l'un des artistes de Blaine Kern de 1961. Cuisine entièrement équipée avec des comptoirs en granit, beaucoup de cuisine et ustensiles de service; table pour 8 personnes.

Laveuse et sécheuse à pleine charge, y compris le fer et planche à repasser sont dans la buanderie. Le couloir menant aux trois autres chambres et deux salles de bains, sont bordées de photographies locales pour votre plus grand plaisir. La deuxième chambre a un lit superposé confortable double, avec placard, ventilateur de plafond et TV. La troisième chambre a deux lits doubles, deux walk-in et une télévision à écran plat. Notre quatrième chambre a 4 lits queen size affiche, walk-in, cheminée électrique, TV à écran plat avec lecteur DVD et salle de bain complète. La pièce arrière à la propriété est meublée avec une table de ping-pong, jeu de fléchettes, 3 canapés confortables et 2 chaises ... pour vous de sortir ou d'avoir une petite compétition amicale.

Absolument AUCUN ANIMAL n'est autorisé en aucune circonstance. Le propriétaire est allergique.

Notre maison est NON-FUMEUR, cependant, il est autorisé à l'extérieur sur le patio seulement.

Nicer than Expected

The place was very nice and clean. One note that everyone in the group mentioned when we arrived, which was that the stay was much bigger, brighter, and nicer than what the photos posted showed. We were pleasantly surprised when arriving and we had a great stay. Additionally, the spent a good amount of time in the outside area as it was cooler than usual the weekend that we stayed. The host was very accommodating and the area was very nice only being a quick 5 minute walk to coffee/breakfast. Frenchman street is also a walkable distance.

A Ten-Star StayThe house, the furnishings, and the location were all great and even better than advertised. The caring snd communication with Michael and Erika made us feel like we were staying with family. The location felt very safe. Family members ran every morning and many walked to and from the French Quarter.

Great location, huge space, clean & comfortable

A few buddies and I spent 4 nights in NOLA on an annual football trip and we could not have picked a better place to stay. The Bywater is a fantastic neighborhood that is not overrun with tourists. Great restaurants within walking distance and an awesome neighborhood bar - Mimi's - that you can literally stumble in and out of. Highly recommend!

Wonderful House, Wonderful stay!!!

Stayed here when visiting New Orleans for a Bachelorette party weekend, and this property truly elevated the experience! It’s such a cool house in a great location, and the hosts were very thoughtful in providing amenities above and beyond to accommodate us to make our stay easier, such as an earlier check in, makeup towels in every bathroom and even themed welcoming decorations! The rooms were very comfortable, beautiful and thoughtfully supplied, and checkout was very easy as well! 10/10, would stay here again and I’ll be recommending it to any larger sized parties I know who are traveling to the area and needing a place to stay!

Love the house, Marigny, and NOL

The owners are stellar, responsive, honest, and clear with all details, and instructions. This was our first travel in Covid times, and this property was very clean and well stocked. Lots of space for visitors, and the outside deck was great in April. A short walk to many restaurants and the heart of the quarter. Thank you so much!!

Live like a Local!

Location, comfort, great accommodations!! Walkable to neighborhood restaurants (Horn's Eatery, Ruby Slipper, Who Dat, Morrow's, Country Club). There's a grocery (bodega-style) on the corner. The Marigny Opera House is across the street. About 15-20 to walk to Frenchman Str. and the French Quarter. Spent most of our time on the awesome veranda (night/day) Great Kitchen area, comfy beds, Michael was great to communicate from day one. A clean, well-lighted, nicely appointed place! Definitely would stay again!

Lots of room for big groups

We really enjoyed the house and the area. We loved being able to walk everywhere and having a little convenience store on the corner. The house was big and comfortable and we played lots of ping pong in the game room. The kitchen was well stocked and they even had a few cold beverages awaiting our arrival. The communication from Michael and Erika was excellent and I cannot imagine how our stay could have been made any better! We will be back!

Perfect house to explore New Orleans with a group

10 of us recently stayed at this house in New Orleans for a bachelor party and it was fantastic. The house was clean, spacious, had room for all of us comfortably, and was a quick cab ride away from the French Quarter. Michael was truly a pleasure to interact with - he was incredibly informative, welcoming, and accommodating, making our stay as smooth as possible. I'd happily stay here again for another group trip to New Orleans and highly recommend it to others. Thanks Michael!

Great place to stay!!

Beautiful place in a convenient location! The owners were great to work with and very responsive to any questions we had! The house is perfect for 3 or 4 couples. Large common areas to enjoy and plenty of space to spread out ...never felt cramped! The kitchen and bathrooms well appointed. The outdoor patio was large and fun to hang out and talk! It was very clean and beautifully decorated! Area was safe to wander around and we walked a couple times to French Quarter and Frenchmen Street! Uber/Lyft/Taxis easily obtained. Our last night there we watched a parade outside this homes front door! Would definitely recommend staying here! Thanks so much hope to come back someday!

Couldn't have been better

So I was a little nervous when booking this place, only because you hear a lot about how "dangerous" NOLA can be if you walk or stay in the wrong areas. So booking this place without knowing the "area" was a little scary. I can honestly say I felt as safe in this neighborhood as I have in any city I've visited. It seems a little ghetto when you first get there (the area NOT the house), but trust me, it's super safe and in perfect proximity to everything. The place itself couldn't have been better for a group of 7 dudes. The layout was great, the bed situation perfect, the outdoor patio area and rec room were amazing. Top to bottom I can not recommend this place enough. If/when I go back to NOLA I will look to stay here. Thank you Michael!

Amazing location and space!

The whole process of renting this space was very smooth. Michael was very supportive and easy to work with. The house itself is in a great location where you can walk almost anywhere. The house was massive and had plenty of room. The listing itself described the house very well. No issues with the property itself. There are two living rooms and the covered patio was excellent. We never felt crowded at all. There is a 24 hour grocery just down the block in case you need supplies/food. There are so many great restaurants and bars nearby. Favorites for us were Oxalis, Bacchanal, and the St. Roch Market. We walked to the French Quarter in a very short amount of time. The walk itself was very beautiful. I highly recommend this space and will likely stay here again if I am returning to NoLa with a large group. I have already recommended it to friends.

Best Jazz Fest rental yet!

Our group of Jazz Fest faithfuls stayed at the Royal St penthouse for the 2nd wknd of Fess from 5/3 - 5/9/11 and it was the best rental we've had in our 8 yrs of coming to NOLA for Fess. Couldn't have asked for better accommodations for everyone's comfort - plenty of common space w/ the game room, living room, kitchen & great outdoor patio, ample & quiet bedrooms & 3 full bathrooms. The location is excellent, as it's a quick 8 block walk to Frenchmen St & from there only a few more blocks to the Quarter. The rental is in an up & coming neighborhood at the edge of the Faurborg Marigny & Bywater. There are several great coffee shops, cafes, bars, etc in close proximity & the 24 hr Mardi Gras Zone grocery store & deli is literally next door. The owner was very professional, personable & easy to work with. We'll hopefully be in this great rental again next year for Jazz Fest '12. I highly recommend it to anyone with a large group who's new to NOLA or who's experienced the Crescent City. You can't go wrong w/ Maison De La Royal!

Awesome Mardi Gras!

This house was awesome, seriously perfect for a large group of people (specifically 10 dudes). We do a trip for the Super Bowl to a different part of the country every year, this year the Super Bowl coincided with Mardi Gras in New Orleans so it was a no brainer. We always struggle with finding a VRBO that has adequate sleeping space for everyone but this place was perfect. Plenty of beds, plenty of couches, and plenty of bathrooms. The area outside this place looks semi-sketchy, but there is a pretty convenient grocery store just a few doors down (does not sell beer/alcohol unfortunately) and we felt totally safe the whole time we were there. It is a bit of a walk down to Bourbon Street but really not too bad. The owner (Michael) was incredibly responsive to all phone calls/emails/texts. A portion of our group arrived early and Michael let us check in at 10a because there was no one staying before us. Similar story on the back end with people leaving late...Michael was kind enough to extend our checkout time to 1p so we didn't have to wander the street on Mardi Gras with all of our luggage.

Perfect Penthouse for a unique New Orleans experience

I just returned home from a three day bachelor party with 7 of my closest friends and the Maison De La Royal was the perfect penthouse for our group! Our group came away very, very happy that we picked this spot to serve as our home front during our stay in the great city of New Orleans. The location was perfect. Located in Marigny, we were within walking distance of the French Quarter and Frenchmen Street. Nearby, we took advantage of a 24 hour market, coffee shop, and some great dive bars on a daily basis. The neighborhood has a lot of charm and is a great location for those looking to stay close to all of the action while also getting the sights and sounds of a unique New Orleans neighborhood. The actual penthouse was spectacular. Very spacious, there was more than enough room for all eight of us. The outside courtyard and game room were added bonuses. Also, the penthouse has a fantastic New Orleans charm to it...decorations everywhere and tastefully done. Michael was tremendous throughout the booking process and stayed in touch while we were on property to make sure we had everything we needed. I can't say enough about how attentive he was. I would rent from him again in a heartbeat. Overall, the positive reviews are more than well deserved. Between the great location, charm of the penthouse/Marigny neighborhood, and Michael's professional manner, the Maison De La Royal is a fantastic place for just about any group.

Fantastic place for a family vacation

We vacationed here with our adult "kids" and it was the perfect place to hang out and spend time together when we weren't exploring the city. This condo was every bit as spacious and nice as it looks in the pictures. The dining table seats 8 and there was plenty of seating in both living spaces, along with a ping pong table. Everything was ready when we arrived and the host responded to questions quickly.

We loved Michael and Erika’s place! Perfect place to say for our NOLA trip to see Taylor Switft! Very clean, comfortable and spacious for our group. We loved the living spaces and patio!
