NO WIFI Bienvenue Ă  Kuilima Estates, la propriĂ©tĂ© de condo situĂ© sur les terrains de renommĂ©e mondiale Turtle Bay. Les condos sont entourĂ©s de deux terrains de golf magnifiquement entretenus, et sont les seuls condos sur la Rive-Nord. Ceci est un endroit idĂ©al pour se dĂ©tendre, revenir en arriĂšre, et la restauration, et un monde forment loin de l'agitation de la ville. Terrible. Service was terrible, communication was horrendous if i could give them -5 stars I would. It’s so bad i didn’t even get to stay there for the days i had. You’re better off going to the Marriott. They cancelled my room and said they were going to upgrade me due to the unit not being available but says i have to pay for the upgrade that they offered. Do you know if you offer the upgrade it’s usually complimentary? No they said i still had to pay j told them no. It wouldn’t work. Then they tried to say they had a unit at the same price on the other side of turtle bay. Why didn’t you offer me that first? Ended up cancelling and had to fight them for my refund of my deposit. Horrible customer service! Do not ever plan to go through Kuilima estates.

I love the 2 bath model with one bedroom on one floor. The place itself is in need or a remodel. Cabinet doors were hanging and unable to close. Some were nailed closed and items inside not accessible for use. Toilet seat loose and replaced quickly by maintenance ..Dishes and serving pieces were a yard sale collection. We had most of what we needed but it was a shabby collection.

Great location but needs major renovations for price

Reviewer Comments: Upon our arrival we noticed the screen door was laying on the ground. Called renter to let them know. Maintenance came to fix the door however he put the door on backward and we weren’t able to use the patio area. The first night it was extremely hot because we couldn’t open the glass door. When you sit on the sofa you sink really low making it extremely hard for us to get up. The ac in bedroom doesn’t get really cold and we had to buy a fan because the rental was so hot.

Turtle Bay condo vacation

Pros: We had a beautiful two-week stay at Turtle Bay, Estates in a nice location located on the 1st hole of the George Fazio golf course on the North Shore of Oahu. The condo was well cleaned with good security, parking, quiet and very comfortable. The price was very affordable and I found the staff helpful to meet our needs prior to arrival. Cons: The residence was built in 1973 and the appliances are in sad need of replacement. It was apparent that the owners were operating as cheap as possible putting little resources into the dwelling. Metal fixtures were rusting and paint peeling. The washer leaked (slightly) and the dishwasher did not work. When I called, the manager told me that they were awaiting a part which never appeared. Don’t know why I was not informed from the beginning. The burners on the stove were replaced with universal burners, which did not fit, so we had to cook food sideways. The bed mattress sadly sags in the middle and needs to be replaced. The gate entrance codes given did not work initially (this also happened to several other renters) and we had to wait in the rain for a resident to open the gate. Once we had the fob, there were no entrance problems. It was fun to observe the two resident geckos. Conclusion
.It is what it is for the price. We were quite comfortable. If you are expecting a luxury hotel, you will be sadly disappointed. The condo quite adequately meets our needs in price, coziness, cooking meals, and a romantic location. I would stay again and look forward to returning! JP

Barely Okay

When we arrived, the code for the gate was not accurate so we had to call the main number and they were able to remedy it quickly with a one time code. The unit is extremely dated. There is one air conditioner in the bedroom for the whole unit, which was in the back. There was one extremely dusty/dirty fan in the living room that was broken. Sitting in the living area in the afternoon was not possible, it gets extremely warm and there is no curtain/shade on the small window next to the sliding doors so the sun is in your face. The views to the golf course were beautiful, the pool was nice and accessible easily enough. Patio furniture was broken (table and chair). Dishes were dirty and I washed everything before we used them. The bed was extremely uncomfortable for both of us. In this case, we got what we paid for. I was looking for inexpensive and we definitely got what we paid for. We would not return to this unit, even at the price. The location is good.

Needs Updating and Cleaning

Reviewer Comments: Gave the stay a 2 for the responsiveness of the Management Company and the price, but the owner really needs to spend a little money on the unit. Cabinets are particle board and one cabinet door fell off when we opened it. The shower in the master was unusable as the surround and curtain is unable to contain water and the only A/C unit in the bedroom leaked water onto the rug under the bed (smelled mouldy). The unit was not very clean as the slats on the closet doors were coated in dirt and the screens had spider webs. The unit is in a good community at Turtle Bay and sits on the golf course. Nice little beach at the resort and excellent food at Roys and Mai Tai's at the resort's poolside bar. The property management company was very responsive and brought extra towels for us to sop up water the next morning. They also continued with follow up. Good we were only there for 3 nights.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit in great location. Updating a bit needed. One could not ask for more at the price. We would probably rent this unit again.
