Ce condo est appelé «The 19th Hole», car il est situé sur le 18e trou du terrain de golf de Fazio. Il est aussi proche que possible de l'hôtel Turtle Bay. Il y a trois nouveaux climatiseurs dans le salon, la chambre principale et le loft. Les plages sont calmes et sablonneuses et vous pouvez nager toute l'année à la plage de la baie (même pendant le surf hivernal). Il y a un lit California King confortable dans la chambre principale et un lit queen, un lit jumeau et un futon double dans la chambre en mezzanine. Les deux salles de bains ont été rénovées et disposent de comptoirs en granit et de nouvelles armoires en érable. Le canapé inclinable en cuir double est un nouvel endroit parfait pour se détendre après une journée bien remplie. Le salon a un climatiseur. Le loft et le salon ont des ventilateurs de plafond et une fenêtre AC. Lors de votre séjour au Kuilima East, vous pourrez utiliser les piscines et les courts de tennis sur place. Il y a un accès gratuit à Internet sans fil. Condo est entièrement meublé avec tous les équipements de cuisine pour votre séjour. C'est une propriété NON FUMEUR!

Air conditioner in downstairs bedroom worked poorly. Bathroom sink drained reaaly slow. Otherwise everything was good.
We picked this rental due to its location close to Turtle Bay resort and while others had complained about its dated decor, I felt the price was good and a fair trade-off on a dated appearance. However, I had not counted on major appliances and other items being broken.
The air conditioner in the master bedroom was broken. The fan worked, but the air conditioner did not cool the room. I suspect the owner knew the air conditioner was broken because when we came in not only were all the air conditioners on, but she had set up a box fan under the open staircase to blow cold air from the working ac in the living room back towards the master bedroom. While this did help, the bedroom was uncomfortably warm during the day, though tolerable at night. However, one had to keep the bedroom door open to benefit, which was annoying when one party wanted to stay up later and watch TV in the nearby living room.
The dishwasher was also broken. We discovered this our first day there when we returned from the grocery to find a strange man in our rental. He had installed the new dishwasher for the owner, but the previous tenants had complained it was not working. He thought the owner was going to call us to let us know he would be by. He was unable to fix the unit and left. I texted the owner to make sure she had my cell phone number and to let her know about the problem with the AC. She texted back she would put her AC guy on it, but no one came to repair either unit the 5 days we were there.
The curtain rod over the sliding glass door to the balcony was also broken. I assume its brokeness as there as no curtain across the glass wall that was the back of the rental. While that wall backed onto the golf course, it was a bit disconcerting to have no privacy curtain when I was walking around in my nightgown in the evening or early AM, lit up for any to see who happened out behind these condos.
There were some nice features like the newish Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella for guests to use, but when we opened up the umbrella at the beach we discovered it was…...yep, you guessed it….broken.
I am sorry you weren’t happy. Unfortunately things broke at once just before your arrival following Labor Day weekend.
The dishwasher was less than one week old when the latch broke. Maybe the previous guest tugged too hard to open mid cycle. GE repaired it under warranty but could not come during your 5 night stay.
The master bedroom AC was blowing air (just not super cold). It is one of 3 AC units (the loft and living room cool the condo pretty well). My AC guy tried to repair it but instead had to special order a new one that was installed after you left.
I was at the condo the week before and the bedroom curtain worked fine because I opened and closed it. The previous guests seemed to be hard on things. I chose not to have a living room curtain because i like the light and the look of the 18th hole and trees. Since the condo is on the 2nd floor and looks over trees and the course there is not much chance of anyone being able to see into the condo.
I did not know about the umbrella. It was fairly new and the guest that broke it put it in the cover and didnt tell me. It was replaced. It is there for guest convenience as many owners dont want to deal with the hassle because of these issues (so are the masks, snorkels, beach chairs, kids toys and life jackets and boogie boards!)
The condo has been upgraded this year. The carpet in the living room and master bedroom was replaced with plank vinyl. The kitchen island was repaired. The stove and dishwasher were replaced in August 2018. The closet doors in master bedroom were replaced. The bathroom on main floor was painted and new baseboard was installed.
Great place to stay!
We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of little extras to make things easy. Only complaint was the AC didn’t do much to cool the place down. We ended up purchasing a couple fans to get us through. But, I still encourage people to stay here the pool is super nice at the end of the day.
I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for letting me know about the AC. I sent a repairman to fix it. I think it was the bedroom AC and the living room and loft air conditioners were working. Sorry you had to buy fans.
Roomy Place with a View
The condo is a great place to stay! It’s in a great location, clean and very quiet. The beds were comfy and the AC was a nice treat!
Polynesian Cultural Center et BYU Hawaii sont à seulement 15 minutes.
