Congratulations! You found a one-of-a-kind LA gem. Sandwiched between Hollywood and Koreatown, this wonderfully convenient location also houses the exclusive work of your host, artist @danielhan. The home is fully furnished to be clean, functional, and elegant, with thoughtful touches to make one feel at home in a new city. It also boasts iconic views of LA, covered garage parking, a dedicated work station, full kitchen, an in-house art gallery, and a full-sized balcony for outdoor leisure.
This property was such a gem! Itâs beautifully kept, super clean, and truly felt like a little sanctuaryâexactly what I needed after surgery. I had a smooth, peaceful recovery here and couldnât have asked for a better place to rest and heal. The owner is an absolute rockstarâquick to respond, kind, and always ready to help with any questions I had. Everything went so smoothlyâI had zero issues during my stay, which says a lot.Iâll absolutely be staying here again on my next trip back to LA. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and well-managed stay!
We enjoyed the ease and functionality of the place. The place was as advertised and it was cozy and clean. It really helped to be located close to Paramount Studios for me to make my business meetings.Overall efficient and nice comfortable house and location!
Easy check in. Cool little pad with off street parking. Communication was easy and constant with the manager. Comfy beds, the rooms are well lit and the front porch had a surprise partial view of the Hollywood sign. very close to good eats and shopping. We will be back for sure.
We enjoyed our stay. The rental is large and spacious in a very convenient location. The host was super responsive and understanding. Great place to host family and pets!
The property is beautiful, but the available supplies are quite limitedâdishes, cups, bedding, towels (including hand towels), pillows, comforters, and sheets are in short supply. We had enough to get by. Additionally, there is no full-size ironing board which presented quite a challenge. The garage is located at the back with a narrow side entry (one has to be careful), though it remains accessible. However, the three flights of stairs may pose challenges for elderly guests. One highlight of our stay was the owner's attentivenessâalways responsive and consistently in touch throughout our visit.
I am a single mom who was having procedures done at Cedar Sinai. This was a great place to stay with my teen daughters. We felt very comfy, safe and it was nice and clean. We loved that we could pull into the garage and access the house from the garage. The beds were comfy, tvs in every room and great Wi-Fi. We would definitely stay here again!
This was a nice VRBO, good location, and simply furnished. The beds and bedding were great. However it was lacking in amenities. There were only 2 pillows for each bed. There were only 2 small towels and 1 hand towel for each bathroom. no washcloths. There was no kleenex in bath and the shower shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were in bottles which made it very difficult to get out. There were no towels in the kitchen and limited dishes. The entry was very dangerous with 7 narrow steps leading to the home and no railing. Very difficult to navigate with luggage. All in all, this could have been a great stay with a few additions.
Great place to stay. Not to far from major attractions. Owner's we awesome. Anytime I had a question they always responded. I recommend this place. Itâs a hidden gem. Hope to be back soon. Thank you
I have nothing negative to say about the neighborhood or the actual building itself. But there were a few things Iâd like to mention. I picked this unit because of the location and the amenities offered clearly stating there was a grill. To my surprise there wasnât one anywhere, I messaged the host asking about the grill after looking for some time. No grill? Not a big deal but that was the whole point of me staying with my family, to grill for the 4th of July. Why say your units have a grill yet no grill in sight? The unit seemed âwell keptâ to a certain extent. Iâm not sure if the owners actually look into who cleans the unit but there were scratches and smudges everywhere, all over the walls and fallen hair in all of the bathrooms. I suggest the owners take a look for themselves after itâs been âcleanedâ. Iâd also like to mention the smoke alarms. At some point late at night the smoke alarms were beeping all night into the morning right in the hallway. I messaged the host asking to sent someone to replace the batteries so weâre not kept awake from the loud beeping. The host messaged me back saying theyâll have someone come take a look, then I get a call 30 mins later from the host telling me she couldnât reach anyone to replace the batteries. Then asked me to replace them. Iâm not responsible for replacing the batteries in my temporary stay nor am I spending money to do so. There are no wash towels provided, so we had to buy our own.The bed pillows are flatter than paper.
We enjoyed our stay in this spacious townhouse. Located in Koreatown, it is not far from places of interest in LA (the Grove, Universal City, etc) but you will need a car. It comes with its own garage but if you have a large car, the garage is difficult to navigate. There is also limited street parking. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and comfortable, and we enjoyed meals at the spacious table in the dining area. There are LOTS of steps -- from the front entrance to the first floor to the second floor. And if you're coming from the garage, that's an extra set of steps. The steps didn't bother us, but if you have trouble with steps, this is not the place for you. It is not handicap accessible. We would stay at this location again. However, I would recommend that the owner make a few improvements that would not be costly but would vastly improve this townhouse:1. Replace the throw rugs in the living room and bedrooms. They were all somewhat dirty, and the rug in the living room was particularly ratty.2. Replace the throw pillows in the bedrooms. They weren't the cleanest and we ended up putting them on the floor.3. Provide more bed pillows in the bedrooms. 4. Provide a full size ironing board. The ironing board provided was a small table top sleeve board and not usable.Bottom line -- we would stay here again but hope that the owner will make the suggested upgrades.
We had originally booked a different property via VRBO but on the day of check in, we were notified that we were being moved to a different property due to some maintenance issue. The property was clean and luckily not too far from the highway. Cons; We were given only 1 key to the property and as we were 4 guests it took some juggling to make sure that the person with the key was always available to open up the property for everyone. We found this to be an inconvenience as we were not all together all of the time. Parking is limited. If you have more than 1 car in your party, someone will have to park on the street which is super limited and might require you to park a few houses away. The unit has a lot of stairs and not conducive to someone with some limitations.
Everything was as advertised! There are 3 BR's with private baths which was very convenient. The property was clean, in a great neighborhood, and had everything needed for a small group or family stay!
