Had the best time spending a weekend with old friends. Beautiful neighborhood, and such a wonderful home tucked behind secret garden hedges. Right next to the tar pits and some delicious coffee shops and Ethiopian restaurants! Would definitely stay here again.
Our group consisted of five women who are over 70 years old. The house was lovely, comfortable and welcoming - big kitchen and dining area; lovely patio area for morning coffee; beautiful decor. Situated on a quiet street, the house was relatively close to the freeway and to many points of interest. We remarked that it was a house that we would like to call our own home.
This is a wonderful home located in a lovely neighborhood. The home had everything we might need, and the outdoor sitting area was beautiful. We also liked the location, which was a great launching place for different areas of discovery in the greater Los Angeles area.
The house was comfortable and clean and ideal for a family visit to LA for Thanksgiving week! Well supplied kitchen, relaxing outdoor space, plenty of bathrooms, comfortable beds, laundry, parking etc. well situated to many attractions. Host was helpful and communicative. Highly recommend. Would return.
We loved the quiet neighborhood vibe and proximity to everyhing. The house is a piece of history, updated with care. Very nice accomodations that we all loved!
We had big crew and the house was spacious and gave us plenty of gathering space. If we find ourselves in LA again, we would certainly look to rent the property again.
Friends whoâve known each other for 40+ years gathered to celebrate a big birthday. We converged from Australia, Texas & Connecticut
The home was the perfect place to relax, chat & catchup
All members of our 5-adult group (all in 60's to early 70's) loved our stay in this beautiful Spanish influenced home. We walked to LACMA and the Petersen Automotive Museum. Food shopping was easy. Best of all, the house was clean, well-equipped and beautifully decorated. We had a bit of trouble with the door code, but our host cleared it up instantly.
Home was nice and clean. Well stocked kitchen. House checkout rules a bit intense for our liking (stripping beds and starting load of laundry with a cleaning fee of 250 felt unnecessary) and we didnât love the stickers not to remove kids handwriting on the closet doors or growth charts - felt a little too personal for a vrbo.
This was a perfect house for small kids, they could run around front yard and backyard as all enclosed. Even a basketball goal for the Dad! Kitchen wonderful. 2 large walk-in shower for us handicapped older folks
Our group had 4 adults ands 4 kids. The house was large enough for us to stay here comfortably and everything was very clean. This is also a great location, I don't think we ever drove more than 30 minutes for something (other than Disneyland), and it was usually shorter than that. Thanks to the bad weather, we were unable to leave when planned, but Larisa was very responsive when I contacted her about booking another night.
Beautiful four bedroom home. Lots of windows, comfy furniture, lovely decor, great WiFi. Huge primary bedroom with so much closet space. And great primary bathroom also with terrific storage space, not to mention two more bathrooms, one with great style and a beautiful claw foot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a wonderful family dinner. Interesting good books and literature on the bookshelves. Fun games. Lovely outdoor spaces. A fun neighborhood with two great coffee houses nearby. In addition to enjoying this home so much, Larisa the owner/manager was just so responsive and kind. My husband and I visited with our daughter in law and infant grandson. It was a perfect house for us while we visited our daughter who lives close by. We definitely would like to stay here again.
The property was perfect for us. The listing is very accurate. The place was very well supplied. The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the backyard. We had to communicate several times with questions and the answers were always very prompt. The neighborhood is as gorgeous as the property. We loved just walking around. There were 7 of us ranging from 9 to 71.
I came to Los Angeles by way of New York and craved a quiet space. I own a home staging company and spend my days creating spaces that people will fall in love with, and I brought that same philosphy to my own home. It's a space that feels calm and miles away from the bustling city right outside the door and we love to share that feeling with others. We get so much joy when our home is the place of gathering for families coming together from around the world and creating their own memories. Or business travelers who appreciate coming back to a quiet space after a buy day working. We hope you can feel the love!
Wilshire Vista is a quiet family neighborhood in the middle of Los Angeles. Due to the many closed off streets, it is relatively free of traffic while close in proximity to almost everything LA has to offer. The streets are lined with trees and historic homes, and there is an amazing sense of community. Pico Boulevard has wonderful coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance, and museum row is just up the street.
It is a sanctuary that feels miles away from the big city, while smack dab in the middle of it. It's warm and inviting and flooded with light, and the enclosed front and back yards are private refuges to gather and entertain.
