This is our second time staying in the Apollo complex on Marco. The complex itself is incredibly well-kept, clean and safe. The check-in process was easy and everyone we interacted with was very welcoming and kind! We have stayed in Rebeccaâs properties during both of our stays on Marco, and we have loved every moment. It is beyond beautiful with the ocean-front view and beautifully decorated. Highly recommend either one of Rebeccaâs properties at the Apollo!
We couldnât be more pleased with this condo! It was more beautiful and spacious than we ever expected. The living space is very large, and the bedrooms are perfect. Great view of the beach and sunset over the Gulf. Everything was very clean, neat, organized, and they had everything we needed! All of the beach supplies, such as chairs and coolers, and all of the kitchen and laundry supplies we needed. I would highly recommend this place and hope to come back!
This was a spacious, clean condo for our group. Plenty of seating in the kitchen dining area, living room and balcony. Having the beach access right next to the public access with a sand carpet made for a very easy stroll to the ocean for our elderly family members. Just a couple of things to note- there was no shampoo/conditioner in the condo and only 1 dishwasher pod for our 5 days. Nothing a quick trip to the store wasnât able to fix. Overall, we had a great vacation and this condo was a perfect home away from home!
View is spectacular but unit needs some love. Sofas are dirty. Walls, dining table and tile floors have damage. Both toilets need new fill valves. Hopefully since season is over the owner will address the issues.
Everything is as wonderful. Probably the cleanest property we have stayed at. Balcony was large and view was amazing. Will definitely stay again if visiting Marco Island in the future.
A very pleasant five days at Marco Island.Apartment is comfortable with direct view of Gulf of Mexico.Right on the beach. There is a bar and restaurant on first floor (Sunset Grill)We are likely to return.Five stars.
Les points forts : Communication, emplacement, exactitude de lâannonce
Christmas week
The location and views are waterfront and good location. The accommodations are good. The property is all locked down; condo building key needed for front door, elevator, beach gate, entry to back of the building from beach. Unfortunately we were given only one key for our unit. This is very inconvenient if the family went in different directions throughout the day and night. There is a 45 fee for parking a car and 75 as a security deposit in case of any damages.
This was in the best location, had the best view, beach was great and plenty of room in the apt
Only thing is recommend is lights on the tennis court so guests can play at night!
Condo was very nicely decorated. Had everything we needed. Plenty of space for the 6 of us. We loved sitting on the large balcony in the mornings and evenings. You never even have have to leave the building with the Sunset Grille restaurant on the 1st floor, delicious food. The sunning & shelling we did daily was superb on this beach!
The location was great! Check in process, key and parking passes were tedious. Communication about level of noise and renovations in the complex should have been more than fine print at check in. We were promptly escorted out of the pool 15 minutes after Sunset at 8:15 which could have been more user friendly.
This is a really nice apartment! It was clean and comfortable and I think a bit of a rarity, as a three-bedroom beachfront condo. Here are the things we liked the most: The little extras - the hosts have beach towels, chairs, and (while we didn't need them) a fair number of beach toys available for your use. We really appreciated this! The view - we loved sitting on our balcony looking out on the ocean and beach. The tennis courts - there are two tennis courts located on the roof of the parking garage. They are well maintained and we didn't have a problem with them being overcrowded. The restaurant on the ground level - so fun to be able to grab vaca drinks at the bar and take them to the beach. Also a nice place to watch sunset, and the food was good as well. The beach - just gorgeous. Some things to keep in mind though: this building has TIGHT security. You need a key to get into the pool area and to access the building from all entry points. This is good and bad; good because it's secure and bad because there are two keys. If you have a few people who are all doing their own thing, it can be a little tough to coordinate. Also, this building is right next to the public section of the beach. Things were hoppin' on the weekend but not unmanageable.
We were told that upon arrival the door would be unlocked and the keys waiting inside. If locked, call the owner and she would be able to unlock it remotely. The door was locked and the owner did not answer her phone or return my message. Tracie took care of us. This was our only disappointment.
Overall, the condo is adequate for your stay. Could be a really great place if a few basic items were fixed or upgraded. Pros: great location and views; nice-sized kitchen; good wi-fi service; full-sized washer/dryer in unit. Cons: Missing towel bar in the 2nd bathroom shared by 4 people was acknowledged after check-in but never fixed; lacking in basic towels; sheets for master bed do not fit the mattress; kitchen not very well stocked - short on forks and basic utensils; lanai furniture not adequate - 2 chaise lounge chairs and a table with only 2 chairs in a place that advertises for 6 people (extra chair was broken). Has potential to be a great place to stay with a little extra TLC
Check in required a quick call to Rebecca to remotely unlock the door but we were inside in two minutes- thanks! Views out sixth floor unit were stunning! Extremely clean place and well stocked kitchen. Beds were comfortable, including main king bed. AC works very well. Wished there were more than two chairs at the table on balcony for our party of six- we had to eat indoors and sit on coolers when on the balcony. Very convenient having laundry in suite and three bedrooms was a rare find! The sunset grille on the beach was convenient for pina coladas on the beach. Wish we had known that we would be kicked out of the pool (very warm!) and hot tub when it closed at 6:30pm (dusk). We would highly recommend this condo as long as the evening pool closure fits your schedule. Loved our time in Marco at this condo!!
I love Marco Island - itâs beautiful and the shelling and wildlife are great. The condo was spacious and the kitchen well equipped. The property and pool are nice, but it requires a key to do EVERYTHING. You canât even access the lobby area without a key. The listing does not describe the check-in process, just says to check in with the desk and theyâll let you up the elevator. We were delayed, the host acted like it wouldnât be a big deal and we could just âfollow someone else upâ. I assumed that we could just access the stairs, worst case. We pulled in at 3am after hours of flight delays and couldnât even get into the building. I had to call the host in the middle of the night and drive 4 very tired kids to a different property for a backup key. None of this was explained in the listing, and none of it was communicated when I said I thought we would be past 10. We finally got into our unit at 4am. It was a bit frustrating, and the key to access the lobby door, plus the elevator, plus the back door from the pool, plus the door from the beach to the pool deck, plus your own room is a lot. Youâd basically better not be planning to ever carry anything, because you need 2 hands to open all the heavily spring loaded doors and push elevator buttons while turning a key. They could easily update to some kind of RFID tag to smooth the process. The other issue we had was construction above us waking us at 8:30 every morning, and still ongoing when we came in for lunch.
Great Location, clean (except for living room furniture. Couches need a good cleaning.) beautiful view. Host was fairly quick to respond, howeverâŠYou will get a surprise fee for parking that is not mentioned in the description until you book and get the Vrbo message. There it states there is a $25 parking fee, but then you get another message from the association saying there is a $45 parking fee. When I contacted the host to ask, I was told it is $45, but itâs good for 1 year. Not sure how that helps a Vrbo renter unless they plan on staying for a year. Then, when you check in, you donât have a key to get into the condo or the elevator. The receptionist lets you in the elevator, but then you have to make sure you have the host phone number to call and text to have them let you in remotely. Once you are in, there is only one set of keys hanging on the wall. I had to call again to ask for more keys. The other set is down in the lock box by the parking garage which I had to ask the receptionist where it was and ask her to help me open it as I didnât have the combination. They only provide 2 sets of keys. Very inconvenient for 4 adults who come and go at different times. You need 2 keys with you all the time. One for elevator, one for condo. Spent a lot of our time having to be at the condo or go to the condo to let each other in. Not ideal when you want to just relax on the beach or head out for a long walk. I would think a door lock with a code would help the door key issue.
