Notre condo 1 chambre en bord de mer à Kauai, unité 111, est avec VRBO depuis plus de 7 ans et a été réservé presque tous les jours avec plus de 100 critiques 5 étoiles. Vous vous retrouverez au bord de l'océan et loin de l'autoroute! Asseyez-vous et détendez-vous sur votre véranda privée tout en regardant les vagues déferler sur la plage de Wailua. La vue est vraiment spectaculaire. De nombreux invités ont partagé des histoires de regarder des baleines pénétrer à la surface de l'océan pendant des heures à la fois depuis la véranda.

Wailua Bay View est situé au centre près de Kapaa par la célèbre rivière Wailua et l'ancienne station balnéaire de Coco Palms où Elvis a tourné «Blue Hawaii». Il est à seulement 10 minutes de l'aéroport et est un endroit idéal pour se reposer lorsque vous visitez l'île de Garden. Le condo est situé directement sur la belle plage de Wailua et à seulement quelques pas de la plage de Papaloa, une crique protégée pour les bébés et les jeunes enfants. Lydgate Park est à moins de 5 minutes en voiture qui possède le meilleur terrain de jeu de Kauai. De plus, le comté de Kauai vient de terminer une piste cyclable qui borde Wailua Bay View et s'étend de Kealia Beach à Lydgate Park, d'une longueur de plus de 8 miles.

Ces unités au rez-de-chaussée sont à quelques pas de la piscine et du barbecue. La véranda privée est complète avec garde-corps pour plus de sécurité. Cela constitue une installation parfaite pour les familles avec ou sans enfants, sans escaliers pour trimballer valises et épiceries. Notre condo est livré avec une cuisine entièrement équipée et une laveuse et sécheuse dans l'unité. Perfect !

Super appartement, très bien équipé. La vue face aux vagues de l’océan est magnifique. Très bon emplacement pour visiter l île, à 10 min de l’aéroport. Très propre , avec des jeux de plages à dispo, une piscine pour la fin de journée, on se sent comme à la maison, je recommande vivement.

Excellent for school age a new snorkelers

This was exactly as described and not updated which was nice for the value to save on basic instead of esthetic. Amenities are excellent. Very close to Lydgate beach which has a inclosed area for beginner snorkerlers. My 7 and 9 year old learned how to snorkel and see all the fish. It was safe and extremely wonderful. The missionary church in Kapaa is very friendly and great sermon on Sundays at 9am. They live aloha.

Nice condo in a great location

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was in a great location with a fantastic view of the bay. There was a breakfast cafe, and a couple of good places to eat a few minutes walk away and Kapaa with shops and restaurants a short drive away. Luke & Kristi were great hosts - very responsive when we had questions. The condo was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the aircon in the bedroom worked well (although we barely used it in Feb) the washer and dryer were brand new, and the kitchen appliances all worked well. Beach towels, a cooler, beach chairs, boogie boards and so on were provided by the hosts. We were very happy with our choice and would happily stay here again.

Yeah it may be a little 70’s style, but that’s why we loved it :) For the price you cannot beat the view. Host Luke was awesome and responded to questions and such. Good location with a lot of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Thanks for having us!

Perfect!

This place was exactly as advertised! The host has thought of everything. Kitchen was well equipped. And extras like binoculars provided. Also beach chairs, etc!! The best part is the lanai! We watched whales one morning and surfers the rest. The location is great too. Central on Kauai to go north or south. We enjoyed our stay very much!!

Concerns: the rug in the living has severe buckles (a trip hazard as we found out!); one kitchen cabinet above range broken nearly hitting me on head; safe in bedroom locked-sent two messages to owner and never received reply; no stopper in bath tub; light on oven range did not work; dried mildewed pillow cases found in washer-had to rewash, dry, and put away; the apartment needs a deep cleaning especially under bed, nightstand, and lamps; middle closet door bedroom inoperable.messages to

Ein nettes Apartment, man kann aufs Meer sehen, wobei man parallel auch immer die Hauptstraße im Blick hat und auch hört. Die Küche war voll ausgestattet. Das Bad war ordentlich. Am nahe gelegenen Pool konnte man kostenlos mit einem Gasgrill grillen. Es gab saubere Handtücher und man konnte draußen schön essen.

Great location great view!

The condo was perfect. Location was easy to get to everything we wanted to see. The balcony view was beautiful. We would stay here again. The owners were very responsive to all our questions and their suggestions on what to see, recommendations for where to eat!

Our wonderful honeymoon stay

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful place. We loved waking up early drinking coffee and watching the sunrise over the ocean. Luke was a great host, my wife left her debit card and Luke mailed it home! We will definitely be back. Thank you Luke looking forward to our future adventures in your place!

Overall nice

The condo was dated, but overall we enjoyed our stay. Luke did tell me the condo is scheduled for renovation next spring. The air conditioning was great in the bedroom but the rest of the condo was very hot. The windows on the front door didn’t open so we couldn’t get a cross breeze to cool things off. I appreciate having beach towels and an umbrella provided. This condo works well if you plan to spend your days exploring the island rather than staying inside.

Great view and location

The property is tired, needs some updating. The area rug on the worn out carpet is a tripping hazard for older people. The bedroom is nice, very comfy bed. I cleaned the coffee pot so I could use it. A replacement is needed. I also cleaned the filter in the dishwasher so it could actually clean the dishes. The location close to the Coconut shopping center was great. The condo is in a very good location for traveling around the island. It was so great to see the beautiful sunrises every morning while having coffee on the lanai.

Great location and great view!

We absolutely loved out stay! The location can't be beat! We were centrally located on the island and right across the street from some wonderful food options. The view was outstanding! We loved just sitting on the lanai and watching the ocean waves. The pool was very convenient and parking was easy. Plenty of room for us and we were able to easily prepare meals with ingredients from some of the many farmers' markets on the island. Absolutely loved having a full size washer and dryer! The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner kept us cool while we slept. This was definitely a great deal and we're glad we booked this property!

Great place to stay

The property was more than we expected. Great middle ground for anything you want to do in Kauai. It was private and quiet, just what we needed. The unit is a great location. The deck view is amazing. Watched the ocean as we ate our meals. Pool was fabulous. We will be returning !

Amazing Kauai Vacation Location!

Perfect east shore location to easily get around the whole island. The view and sound of the waves from the lanai was incredible. Loved having my coffee out there every morning. The condo was comfortable and exactly as described. Comfy king size bed in the bedroom and everything we needed in the kitchen. Our 14 year old slept on the sofa bed in the living room and said it was comfortable. Luke was a wonderful host. Great recommendations for what to do on the island and a good communicator. Greatly appreciated the chest full of beach items in the lanai chest: snorkel equipment, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc. The washer/dryer in the unit was also super handy. I talked to my Hawai'i-based friends, and they could not believe the price we got on this unit. It almost made me not want to write this review, so we won't have to compete with oth ers for a future reservation! Ha! But, I couldn't do it. This is too good of a deal not to share. There are several wonderful dining options within walking distance too: Lotus Ramen and Hibachi, Passion Bakery, Russel's Vegan Restaurant, and Napali Brewery. Short drive to Kapa'a Town with tons of shopping and dining options. So many great snorkel spots, hikes, and waterfalls nearby. Fantastic location!!

You can’t beat the location of this property. Sitting on our lanai in the morning and evening and watching the waves roll in was so relaxing! The grounds are amazing, as is the pool. The landscaping was beautiful and very well maintained. We had the gorgeous pool to ourselves every evening. The actual unit is a little dated, but it was clean and had everything you could need, including beach towels and snorkel equipment. Lots of little extras that made it very comfortable. The air conditioner died during the night the first night we were there. The owner had a brand new one installed next day - on a Sunday! Communication with the owner was great, very responsive. We would stay here again - and probably will when we bring our next grandchild!

Growing up in Canada, my family visited Hawaii every winter. My husband and I are fortunate to now live on the island of Oahu. Kauai is just a short trip for us and is our favorite of the Hawaiian islands to visit. We love the slower pace and opportunity to vacation close to home. We enjoy relaxing at the beach as well as hiking, scuba diving, snorkeling and surfing. No wonder we love Kauai as it is a perfect island for outdoor activities and water sports.

The view is absolutely amazing. We love being right on the ocean. Kauai has been our favorite vacation destination for many years.

The location is ideal being only 10 minutes from the airport and central to exploring the island both to the north and south. Wailua Bay View is close to shops and restaurants, yet quiet and peaceful. We really enjoy the walking distance to the protected beach cove for little ones and nearby Lydgate Park.
