The kitchen had everything we needed to serve our group. All rooms were clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable (not too soft and not too firm) and we enjoyed our stay in a well equipped farmhouse.We would definitely stay again! We had a great time

I stayed here with a group of girlfriends -- there were 8 of us and just looking to getaway for the weekend. We weren't planning on going into town -- we literally just wanted to read and swim all weekend -- but this house was so close/conveniently located we ended up going into town for coffee and breakfast both days we were there! All the rooms were clean and cozy, the kitchen was stocked with all the equipment we needed to make dinner, and even during a hot May weekend the AC units in each of the rooms did a great job of cooling down the house. It was PERFECT for our weekend trip! We would definitely return, and have already discussed making this an annual trip, so we may very well try to do so :)

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely with really cool collections to admire, comfy bedding and everything we needed in the kitchen and baths. We enjoyed the pool all weekend! We will definitely be back!

Outdoor space was great and the house is a great location to Round Top! We loved hanging out by the pool and the beds are very comfortable. There are a few maintenance issues we communicated to the host - broken pool umbrellas and a couple other minor items. They were great with communication and quickly apologized for the minor inconveniences.

Girlfriend Getaway

My friends and I stayed at this property for a weekend getaway. We were so impressed with the pool and outdoor seating. The property needed some yardwork on the outside and just a few suggestions for the inside which I sent to the owner personally. It is an old farmhouse with rustic features. I wouldn't suggest it for small children but the beds were comfortable and we had a great time!

Wonderful country home

My friends and I loved staying on this property right outside Round Top. Plenty of space for a large group and everything you could need for a great time. The kitchen had plenty of glassware & dishes, along with everything you’d need to cook. The home was thoughtfully & creatively decorated which made it feel more like a home. The pool was great to cool off in and the property was so peaceful. I would definitely go back.

Antique Charmer

If you are looking for a place that has all of the antique character of Round Top plus its own private pool then look no further. My family and I enjoyed a delightful stay at this unique property that was an easy drive from Houston. This was the perfect spot for out multi-generational clan - with beds and space for everyone. We spent the days in the pool and then gathered around the long dinning table for our nightly card games. Depending on when you go, the local restaurants may not be open - but Brenham and La Grange are close by for groceries and other dining options. We appreciate all the effort that Kristine put into making our stay special. Thanks!

This was a fantastic stay - the host was great and very responsive, the property was super spacious with a great pool, and only about a 5 min drive into Round Top. When we arrived, the central AC was not working, but within a few hours (without us having even contacted the host yet), someone came out to repair it and the problem was solved quickly and easily. Highly recommend!

The place was adorable and the beds were comfortable. Our families were comfortable with the setup and space. We didn’t expect pristine since this was a country setting and expected bugs, spiders and such. Having said, there were some simple things that would have made it better. There were blood stains on the queen room sheets we discovered on the first night. There was lots of burnt out light bulbs and bug, dust spider web accumulated in light fixtures which made it feel not very clean. The bathroom door handle was difficult to use and came off several times during the stay that we fixed as best we could. The same bathroom had toothbrush splatter on the mirrors when we arrived which maybe have been overlooked by cleaning crew. Lastly, there were random left behind items in drawers like a tooth tray and such which made unpacking uncomfortable. I recommend the cleaning crew check those small things which has a big impact on the perception of cleanliness. Overall it was a lovely place but felt like it needed a good deep clean and regular dusting of light fixtures which is an easy fix to make it a wonderful place to stay.
