Famille merveilleuse composĂ© sur environ 200 acres de belles prairies et de chĂȘnes gĂ©ants. Pool house a une grande cuisine, salle Ă  manger ouverte et salon avec fabuleuse suite principale. La spacieuse salle de bains principale dispose d'une douche Ă  l'italienne et d'une baignoire sĂ©parĂ©e. Le pool house a Ă©galement une salle de bain supplĂ©mentaire avec douche et une buanderie avec laveuse et sĂ©cheuse. Le chalet en bois sĂ©parĂ© comprend deux suites principales et une chambre avec lits superposĂ©s. Deux salles de bains sont dans le chalet en bois, plus une laveuse et une sĂ©cheuse. Beaux porches sur les deux structures. La propriĂ©tĂ© a une piscine et un lac avec foyer. Grand espace de divertissement. La maison en pierre n'est pas disponible pour le moment.

This house was a dream, close to town very secluded and the most relaxing spot. Everything was clean, easily organized. We had ten friends staying and the beds were cozy and comfortable. We didnt want to leave. I have been coming twice a year to round top for the last five years and this was the best house we have stayed in.

The property was lovely and the kitchen was very well stocked. The house design was quite unique as the main house had only one bedroom and the other bedrooms were in a separate building. It made me a little uncomfortable to leave small children alone in the separate bedroom house especially since there was another building adjacent with someone living there that wasn’t with our party. There were some issues with hot water in the shower, ac in the main bedroom, and lack of hairdryers in. Any of the 4 bathrooms.

Round Top

Awesome place to entertain and hang for family and friends. Great gathering spaces. Beautiful patio, pool, grounds and a good size tank just outside the house to fish and enjoy. 5 minutes from Round Top square. Awesome place.

The property was wonderful! So beautiful! Our family had a grand time. The home was laid out so very well for a large group....there are seating arrangements for the adults to visit and hang out, play areas for the kids, and gathering spaces (indoors and out) for everyone. We could not have asked for a more amazing setting. Kathy was very prompt and helpful with everything! We would definitely visit again!

Private "Family Compound"

Accommodations for 6 adults and 2 kids worked out great. The pool and patio were enjoyed each day. The large main room offered plenty of room for meals and visiting. The kids tested out the trampoline and explored the tree house.

Idyllic Stay in the heart of Warrenton

Kathy is a fantastic host and the property was even better than we imagined. Very serine, private and so close to our favorite parts of the Antique market. We loved the convenience of being able to drop loads of our purchases off sporadically as it was just around the corner. Coffee and cocktails overlooking the pool and stock tank on the pool house porch and was our favorite start and end to each day. We recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy the Antique fair or a peaceful getaway.

No water pressure

Hi, we loved the house but there was not enough water pressure in master shower and in other house so we were not able to wash our hair. The sink in bathroom by main door does not work. Hard to turn hot water on & off in other house (bathroom when you first walk in). Otherwise we loved our visit and hope to be back!

Ranch House Retreat

Had a great time with family hanging out at the ranch! We really enjoyed the openness of the family room and pool area. Pool was large and beautiful, the fire pit was great for roasting s’mores, and we tried to catch some fish to no avail. We also really liked the separate sleeping areas which made it easy to put kids to sleep and not worry about waking them while the adults stayed awake. Only thing I would watch for is the exorbitant amount of wasps, bees, hornets, and mud dobbers Flying around. We did notice some nests so it would have been nice to have those taken care off especially since my brother is allergic and needs an epipen. But over all the place was fantastic and the owner very responsive to all my questions. You won’t be disappointed if you rent here!

Spectacular ranch

My husband and I rented this Round Top property for several days at Thanksgiving and I’m not sure I can find words to describe how amazing it was. There is a long well-maintained drive that leads you through the trees down to the houses. We spent most of our time in the pool house that overlooks the pool and lake in the distance. The pool house has a large, well-stocked kitchen and great dining room/living room combination. The space is really gorgeous and connects via a long hallway to a master suite with a full bathroom. Surrounding the pool house is a large well-maintained yard that has the most spectacular oak trees. My two nephews came for an overnight visit during our trip and spent their time fishing in the lake, playing in the “super-cool” tree house with a secret door, and jumping on the trampoline. There is also a fire pit next to the lake for after-dinner fun. The guest house sits next to the pool house, and has two additional master suites with attached bathrooms and an adorable bunk room with 4 additional beds. The ranch is very large, with lots of room to hike, explore and relax. It’s only a couple of minutes up the road to Warrenton and a ~10-minute drive to Round Top. For those who love the outdoors but want to balance the “rustic” with “luxury,” this is the spot. We are already coordinating calendars so we can book another trip!

Gorgeous and Fun Respite in Round Top, TX

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We shopped the antique market venues all day and recharged at this remarkable VRBO home in the evenings. The pool house was perfect and comfortable for wine, cheese, and evening ‘show and tell’ of the day’s purchases and treasures. The open floor plan was light, spacious, furnished well, and quite conducive to togetherness. When it was time for bed, the accommodations were oh-so comfortable. Peaceful and quiet. We will be staying at this home again during the Spring 2023 Round Top Antique Show!

Great Stay

Great place to spend "family time'!

Great place to spend family time! The pool house was the center of family time, breakfast & dinners. The location was great to Round Top for some local shopping. Bring your binoculars to watch the deer and pigs when they come the pond for a drink of water or for an afternoon swim. The family enjoyed watching the wildlife. Thanks Again!

Gorgeous Property

What a beautiful home in a stunning location. There was plenty of space for everyone and it was perfect for spending time with our family. Seeing the cows as we drove in every day was a real treat. We would definitely consider staying there again. The beds were very comfortable, that's not always the case and the kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked. We had everything we needed. The owners clearly have put a lot of thought into what a guest will need during the stay. Just an impressive place.

Amazing stay! Loved the home and and had a great experience. Beautiful home + property that was right near all the top shopping destinations for Round Top but extremely private and secluded. Will be back!

Our Favorite Vacation Rental

My family and I have stayed on this property twice now and we will surely be back. It's a little pricey, but we've found it's worth every penny. We've stayed here in the summer and winter. The summer was great because you could use the pool (it's not heated) but we still had plenty to do in winter as well without use of the pool. There's a fire pit, trampoline, and treehouse on the property. The kids also loved driving to look at the cows that are technically on the property but not near the house at all. This is a vacation rental for a group that really wants to settle in, get cosy, relax, and spend time together.
