Nestled in the heart of this historic town, the property offers a unique blend of comfort and style. The home boasts a lively atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and entertainment. With its inviting interiors and outdoor oasis, this getaway promises a delightful experience. The Dragonfly home is a staple of Round Top, located a short drive to downtown Round Top, Big Daddy's, The Compound, Blue Hills, Marburger and so many more popular attractions. The home is nestled back on a few acres of land allowing the ambiance of country living. Two large outdoor dining tables for entertaining, private pool and several loungers.

The location was fabulous for a first time visit to Round Top. Kitchen was very well stocked with plates, cooking utensils etc. someone had walked off with lots of forks, but I let Dakota know and she said they would be replaced. Highly recommend

We stayed over the weekend for a wedding in Round Top. Absolutely LOOOVED the Firefly house. Perfect location and just minutes away from the venue in Round Top. Excellent host...was very quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. Will def stay here again if we are ever back :)

Offseason mothers day weekend getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this charming, rustic antique home! The location was perfect—just minutes from town but tucked away in a peaceful country setting. The pool was absolutely lovely and made for relaxing afternoons. The whole place was quiet, cozy, and felt like a true home away from home. The beds were super comfortable too! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a restful and scenic getaway.

Great location and bedding!

We really enjoyed having the house to ourselves! The location was perfect, the bedding was great, the inside of the house was clean, decorated with a cute Warrenton antique flair and lots of outdoor seating.

Dragonfly is a lovely place to stay

We absolutely loved our stay at Dragonfly. The property was clean and well equipped with comfy beds and furnishings and plenty of kitchen appliances. The location was perfect for our weekend wedding stay. I would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay in the Round Top/La Grange area!

Perfect getaway

We truly enjoyed staying at this property. It was perfect for us. The house is charming and private. It was in an ideal location to do our antiquing and be able to come back to rest and then go out for dinner.

Great getaway

Great place for us to stay for the weekend for our friends’ wedding. 3 couples, good amount of space. Wifi and pool lights weren’t working but everything else was great! Pool was awesome to use and location was excellent! 5 min drive to round top. Would definitely stay again

Wonderful!

This place was perfect for our girls trip. Close to Round Top shopping and restaurants, very nice and clean with super comfortable beds. Having the pool was an added bonus that we really enjoyed. Kristine checked in to make sure everything was great which it was 😊. Definitely would stay here again!

We loved this home. So close to Round Top where we met so many kind people. The house was decorated beautifully, the beds were so comfortable and the pool was lovely after shopping in town. We enjoyed every moment.

Charming Cottage close to Round Top

Fantastic for our needs. We were attending the Shakespeare at Winedale festival and this was a perfect place to stay. Having the pool was a treat, but the house was charming and roomy. I would stay here again. Maybe next year !

The location was fantastic.Even though there are two bathrooms, there is only one shower. We had a very hard time getting any kind of Internet. Checking on reservations or sending messages or contacting the property manager was difficult. The coffee pot and dishwasher could be updated.We loved ROUNDTOP and we loved being close to town

Location winner

This house is ideal location for warrenton, round top Fayetteville. It is rustic and has the essentials. The moderate pool was a nice relief from the hot summer. The bedrooms are spacious and the living room kitchen combo is cozy.

Love that Pool!

Comfy beds, great front porch to sit under, and perfect place to meet up with dear friends for a rainy off and on weekend. The pool was very cooling and relaxing and the dining/living area was a comfy place to visit indoors. Both front entrances to the house go through the bedrooms; so that may be awkward for some groups, but the entrance through the kitchen door was the best way to enter so privacy could be had by all.

The host let us drop off our food early at the house. Upon entering, we saw how dirty the house was, and we did not even unpack anything. She assured us Housekkeping was coming because they were getting ready for our 4 o’clock check-in. I double checked that they would be cleaning the leaves/dirt out of the pool and outdoor tables and chairs that were covered in dust/dirt/food/bugs and cigarette butts all over patio and they said they were cleaning those.That night there was dirty sheets upstairs with dirt and hair on the twin beds, bugs, and smelled like mold. House was dusty, dirty, and outside not done. There was one roll of toilet paper in bathroom. No hand soap in the bottle. The sponge in the kitchen was filthy and used, the coffee pots were dirty. Furniture and chairs inside the house were stained and we had to sit on towels.Curtains inside were torn to fit the window and were stained. Curtain rod fell on us as we opened the door. Front door is the master BR so when we came and went, we were disturbing the people in the master bedroom. Upstairs bathroom does not have a shower & we were told there was a shower.Outdoor furniture was unusable because it was either broken or covered in a thick layer of dirt. One of the steps on the staircase was broken. Chairs at kitchen table are wobbly. Window sills covered in dead bugs. Pool dirty unusable.

Forbes Family wedding

This was a lovely place to stay for our nephews weddomg om Roundtop TX. Clean to a tee and the atmosphere was relaxing and had easy access to the venue. The owners are respondent and easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed the farmhouse.

Relaxing Weekend

The farmhouse was very lovely. We were close to Round Top, fun shops, & delicious restaurants. We were able to discover this scenic area at a comfortable pace even with a total rainy weekend. The farmhouse was so clean & cozily arranged we were able to watch football games in comfort. We all slept well in the very comfortable King beds. The swimming pool would be an added plus in warmer weather. Definitely a place to experience!

Great Host

We were so thankful our host was receptive to our needs. She was extremely kind when we couldn’t figure out how to unlock the door. We left the home “too secure” when we went into town for dinner.
