Let’s start with the yard. The grass was so high we couldn’t let the kids go and play in the yard. We were told via email the day we’re checking in that the air is old so you couldn’t go below 70 or it would quit. The dishes were in the dishwasher and dirty. The micro wave was filthy and the numbers on the front did not work so you couldn’t see the time etc. there was old food in the air fryer. The house was listed as a gourmet kitchen. We had to gov to the store and buy cookie sheets and casserole dishes to cook the meals we had planned. There were no kitchen towels to dry dishes etc. no trash bags. In all of our years staying in Air BNB’s this was the worst supplied kitchen we have been in. I know decor shouldn’t matter but there was nothing comfortable or pleasant about this house. Overall a bad experience.

Be prepared to bring your own stuff

The house is nice. It has several bedrooms and a nice living area. The amenities are lacking. It is advertised as having a gourmet kitchen, but the plates and utensils are scarce. There were no cups or glasses in case you wanted a glass of water or a cup of juice. You would have to use a coffee cup for that or a wine glass. We had to go to the store and buy our own red solo cups. There were also no hand towels in the kitchen. We went and bought that too. There were very few towels and clothes in the whole house, which was surprising since it is advertised to sleep 14 people. If there were that many people, then they would be sharing towels. There is no game room or gym or office as was stated on the website. There are two washing machines, and neither worked. They sent someone to fix it, and after the third time, and about two weeks later, it was fixed. In the meantime, we had to go out to do our laundry. In short, it's a nice place to lay your head, but don't expect many amenities if you stay here.

The property owner needs to find a new cleaning crew ASAP! The house was not cleaned well when we arrived. It was slightly spot cleaned, from what I could tell. There was trash left around the house. I dropped my charger behind a dresser and when I moved it there was a LOT of old Kleenex’s and medication packages. One bed had a huge pee spot right in the middle of the bed that soaked all the way to the mattress. I went to wash the sheets and the washing machine had a large amount of old stagnant water in the well, so we had to drain that and wash the inside of the washing machine. The dishwasher didn’t work. The grill was left in horrible shape and was unusable. The yard was not mowed and came up to my daughter’s knees in some areas. The back shed was a safety hazard to say the least and the patio was constantly wet for no reason (it hadn’t rained). The screen on the patio was ripped all over so bugs were everywhere. The house has very few amenities. Bring your own towels, sheets, pillows, kitchen supplies and toiletries. We apparently didn’t fill out a random form sent to us (I told her a few weeks ago that the link never worked and she never sent me a new link) and the owner never checked to make sure we were still coming, so I never got a check-in email and had to contact the host the night we arrived just to get in the house. For the price we paid, I expected so much more. There’s a lot of room in the house but not a comfortable place to stay. Disappointed!

Beautiful quiet home away from home

The house is wonderful! Big open plan with lots of space. The house was clean and perfect. If I come back to the San Antonio are, this is the place I would love to stay at.
