Cette belle maison au bord de la rivière Guadalupe peut accueillir jusqu'à 14 personnes. Il dispose de trois chambres avec lits king-size et d'une chambre avec un lit queen. Couchage supplémentaire pour 6 personnes avec canapé-lit. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour faire de merveilleux souvenirs durables est dans cette grande maison au bord de la rivière. Offrant un accès gratuit au Wi-Fi et à la télévision par câble, car nous savons que vous avez besoin de certains plaisirs de chez vous. Cette maison dispose de 2 cuisines comprenant: réfrigérateurs, four / cuisinière, micro-ondes, cafetières, mixeurs, casseroles, poêles, assiettes, verres etc. Chaque cuisine a sa propre salle à manger et un bar à petit-déjeuner qui peuvent accueillir 14 personnes. Des draps de haute qualité sont fournis pour tous les lits et les baignoires. Fosse de barbecue disponible pour utilisation ainsi que deux kayaks. Il y a un kayak de 10 pieds et un kayak de 12 pieds.

Rats or pests inside, lots of bugs, highway noise and party prop

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It’s right next to a major highway so expect constant and loud highway noise. There are also tons of party properties nearby so they blast music. But the biggest issue is during the night, I heard claws tapping upstairs probably rats or some other pest. Considering the property instructions talk about “critters” I think they knew they had a pest problem. Lots of spiderwebs and property maintenance issues, the kayaks were dirty and old barely useable. Considering the high fees, it was a terrible experience and put me off VRBO moving forward.

Celibrated our 50th Wedfing Anniversary

We loved your home. Thank you! We had a wonderful time with our children and grand children and great grand children. We did some swimming, kayaking, game playing, grilling and cooking. We used the back deck that overlooks the river for our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration where we repeated our vows in front of our gamily.

Perfect for our big families

Such an easy check in process! This property was perfect for our big families to all stay together while having plenty of our own space. We were very nervous for our stay as we are very “picky”individuals but we 10/10 would recommend this property! Incredible views with easy access to swim in the Guadalupe river and big deck to sit near water! We enjoyed every bit of the water activities provided and surrounding! It was very convenient to float the comal river as well. Would definitely book again for our next trip!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was nice. Plenty of room for all of us. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen a nice size. Outside was beautiful! The only issue I have is that I wish someone would have gone in before we arrived to pick up all the roaches in the tubs and in the floor.

Texas Eclipse

We stayed here while in Texas to see the eclipse. Good location with easy access to interstate to travel to San Antonio or Austin. We had a group of 4 couples and there was plenty of room for everyone. Great view of river too.

Beautiful property

This is a beautiful house with a beautiful backyard right on the water that has lots of picnic areas. The house is very clean and was a great size for our large group. I love the area- close to lots of things to do. I would definitely stay here again!

Plenty of Room for a family gathering

Over all the home fit our needs for our family trip to the river. The ac in the home, mainly the upstairs was very uncomfortable trying to sleep at night. It did not get below 75* until after around midnight or so, still then it would only cool to 73*, 74*. Only (1) fan was provided for the (2) rooms upstairs. The AC vents down stairs leaked water/condensation the whole time we were there. The home is a much older home with an weird/old smell (very strong) in the stairway inside the home. There are also not outside fans.

Incredibly close to the city, and on the river too!

Loved the variety of spaces! Sprawling decks overlooking the river. Meandering common areas which accommodate the varied interests, and separate conversations, of a large group. The upstairs master bedroom is huge! Check-in was a cinch, as was check-out.

Great location on the river, convenient location

The house was very convenient to everything we visited. Shirt distance to Schlitterbahn, Comal river tubing, restaurants, and grocery stores. The house is old and needs some updating, but was clean. The air conditioner was set at 70 when we arrived, but read 78. The property manager sent an AC repairman fairly quickly and the problem was resolved, same with a clog in the drain of the upstairs bathroom. The house was roomy for 9 guests. Although we didn’t use them, the property provides kayaks, floats, and life jackets. There is ample parking.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently stayed at the home, Texas River Haus, in New Braunfels,Tx. The home couldn’t have been in a better location! We are in a drought in South Texas but there was plenty of refreshing water in the Guadalupe. The home provided kayaks For our enjoyment, and boy where they a big hit with my grandsons and daughters . The older, majestic home was very clean and organized. Such a beautiful property with beautiful trees and greenery plus the home itself had two living rooms, two dining rooms, two kitchens and four relaxing , comfy bedrooms , was more then enough for my small family of Eight . Plenty of room to be all together or for a little privacy. We would definitely stay here again , in fact , as we where packing up to come home my youngest grandson and granddaughter wanted to come back in two weeks and stay in this exact home. It was a wonderful weekend and New Braunfels Escapes helped so much to make it that way ! Thank you for a great end of summer blast!

Pros & Cons

The property has a fun rustic vibe in a great location, but requires a little maintenance and cleaning to be a truly outstanding. Upon our arrival we found the kitchen area wasn’t fully cleaned, with 2 dead cockroaches on the floor and the refrigerator was covered in grease and rust looking like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. It really should be replaced. The air conditioning for the second floor wasn’t able to properly cool. In order to be remotely comfortable when sleeping at night, my wife and I had to sleep without using the blanket or top sheet. Mind you, she’s one of those people who always feels cold, so as to give you some perspective. The rear deck area could also use some looking after. We found a few nails that weren’t flush with the deck boards that could easily cut someone’s foot if they barefoot. If these things were addressed, we would definitely stay here again.

The house was great! The property nice for the most part. Could use a grill. Several areas of upkeep are needed. With all that said it was an amazing time. The kids loved it. The family enjoyed the house 100 percent. The walk up and down the stairs lil rough on is older folks. I would definitely stay there again.

Riverfront Family Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was large and clean with all the needed amenities. It accommodated our group nicely and the game room was well stocked with fun games for all ages. The location was easy to access and close to all we wanted to do in New Braunfels. Our only disappointment was the outdoor space. The furniture was dirty from the trees and weather. The kayaks and life vests were thrown in the cage, dirty, wet and disorganized. I understand that it would be a huge job to maintain the outdoor space, but feel it shouldn't be advertised as a perk to the rental. Being on the river was ideal. Outdoor seating was ample, but needed cleaning before we could use it. Overall, the rental was nice, but the cost was in excess of the quality.

River Fun

The river is fun and really nice right at the house. The house is very spacious for a large family or group BUT if you want a cool air conditioned house, forget it! The back of house had a horrible window unit that doesn’t cook and the dude room has a window unit that doesn’t work. The upstairs took 3 days to cool down. It finally cooled off when we were leaving. The owners need to invest some of the rents into this house. The a/c vents drip on to the couch and the whole house smells musty and needs to be painted. Out of 3 TV’s, we could not get one to work. On the good side, it had lots of space and several refrigerators. Tons of nice decking and new stairs going down to river. We enjoyed the swings and tubes and kajaks. We did enjoy the house even with the problems.

The thermostat was in the bedroom with the one air conditioner and the other far bedroom remained so hot it was unable to be used. A window unit would be great. Otherwise it was great and our grandkids loved the river swing.
