Modern + Cozy Entire Home - Steps to Cleveland Clinic & Case Western
The perfect place for students at Case, working professionals working at the Cleveland Clinic or University Hospitals, or anyone looking for a centrally located private home in between Little Italy and University Circle!
Less than a quarter mile to Case Western campus and less than 5 minutes to the Clinic makes it the perfect location for your stay!
The property will comfortably sleep 7 guests with two additional couches if you need to squeeze in a few more people! We have a brand new two car garage, and a driveway that will accommodate several cars. The kitchen is stocked with brand new appliances including a toaster, keurig, and waffle maker!
Our stay at this pleasant, clean, very accommodating house was exactly what we hoped for. Our stay was short and this house was equipped with all the necessities needed for our family. The host was extremely helpful with the WIFI access and recommendations of restaurant in the area. Our favorite was the Historic Italian restaurant in town. We would most definitely recommend this location and host to anyone traveling in this Cleveland, OH area.
The property was comfortable and well-kept. There were clean sheets on all the beds and plenty of clean towels. The bathrooms had plenty of toilet paper, soap, and other toiletries.
We loved our stay. The host was exceptionally responsive and so kind. Neighborhood is older, but it was pretty quiet and there are several things to do right nearby. Definitely recommend
Ice trays would be a great addition. Also WD40 on all the upstairs door hinges would be great. Also a thicker curtain in the bathroom would be nice, the one in there is way too see through.
This place was everything we needed for a weekend trip to Cleveland. Check was a breeze and the place was bright, clean, and well updated. Off street parking was a plus!
It is a beautifully restored old home and afforded us easy access to all the things we wanted to see:
Rock and Roll HoF
USS Cod museum
The Christmas Story House.
Was a wonderful time
This home is really cute with modern updates. The furniture is tasteful, cozy and goes with the homes layout. I really like the binder in the kitchen drawer that outlined attractions, grocery stores, nightlife and other places to see around Cleveland. Great internet connection too.I would really have loved to give this 5 stars but took away for a few reasons.Water pressure in the upstairs shower was horrible. A 10-15 mins shower easily turned into a 30 min ordeal. The shower trim could be updated or cleaned thoroughly. I noticed uncleaned spots left from previous guests.Light fixtures are beautiful but they need to be cleaned because there were cobwebs on them.Even with closing vents downstairs and running fans, the upstairs became hot and extremely uncomfortable in the evening when going to be. It did help during the temperature down.Staircase to the basement bathroom could be deal breaker for anyone with kids or elder parents.Basement bathroom could have used a towel rack or hook to hang/dry towels.Overall it was a nice home and conveniently located. The homeowner or representative on Vrbo were also responsive to my concern regarding the bedroom temperature in the evening.
Perfect location for University Circle activities. Easy walk to Severance Hall etc. House is nicely updated and clean. Second shower is in the basement. No coffee maker (but has a Keurig). Offstreet parking accommodated our two cars easily. We had a little trouble with the keypad for the lock, but maybe that was just us. We will definitely return in the future and recommend to friends.
My family loved the location near University Circle, Little Italy, and downtown. The neighborhood could be viewed as "fringy" or "up and coming"-- beautiful, elegant homes mixed in with a few vacant and condemned ones. My family felt safe; the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful historic cemetery directly behind the house. Very clean and bright, new paint, comfy, new mattresses. We slept amazingly! My only complaint is the steep, carpeted stairs. I suggest handrails on both sides, adding a few steps to prevent slipping, and stair treads.
It was a short stay, but a nice stay. Overall, we enjoyed the house and what it had to offer. The 2nd bathroom was in the basement away from everything but useable. Owner was quick to respond whenever we needed something. We would consider staying again.
