Fabulous Home

Home was beautiful and bigger than I thought it would be. Outdoors was a perfect place to relax and hang out and have some fun with our small group. Kitchen was super fun to cook in. Living room was a great hangout spot too.

Wonderful stay and beautiful accommodations

My husband and I, along with three other couples, stayed at the Palmer Farmhouse for a long celebratory weekend getaway and it was everything we could have hoped for. The bedrooms with enough bathrooms for each couple to have their own was a huge plus. The living spaces were large and open, giving us plenty of room to relax and gather. Very comfortable, beautifully appointed, and fully stocked with all the amenities of home. Plus, the location was great for easy access to both the main Sonoma square and our winery tour days. I can’t wait to go again - hopefully for a girls trip!

Perfect Family Gathering!

We had a group of 11 and really enjoyed the way rooms and baths were spread out so no one complained. House was clean and provided hotel like amenities. Location is great since it is only a 3 minute drive to the square and that was our main dining area and also had markets nearby for all staying in comforts. We were able to find a break in rain and went on a hike around vineyard so that was great. And 4 cars fit on the premise just as well. Appreciative of great memory here!

Great Location

We were there to celebrate our daughter's birthdays. The house was very clean and everyone had a great time. Plenty of space so that all our guests could be spread out. Great location, close to restaurants and shopping! Property manager also had a great list of reccomendations.

Nice property. Pool, jacuzzi and putting green were a plus. We had an issue with the heater. To their credit they tried to fix it on short notice but were unsuccessful. Other than that the house was very comfortable for 12 people.

Great house in a convenient location

This was a great property with everything as advertised. The main living spaces were large and welcoming. We had three generations (6 adults, 6 kids) staying in the house and there was plenty of room for all. The kitchen was large and well equipped. Short drive to the Sonoma Plaza. Great house and we would stay there again.

An Incredible Experience

Our experience at the Palmer House Sonoma was absolutely unforgettable! Friends flew in from all over the country to celebrate a 40th birthday, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like home. Each guest had a cozy, private space, and the bedrooms were perfect for unwinding after long days spent catching up and celebrating. The gourmet kitchen became our gathering spot, where we cooked meals together and shared laughs, while the expansive dining options allowed us to enjoy meals both indoors and out under the stars. The heated pool and hot tub were a dream, and the putting green added a fun touch everyone enjoyed. The thoughtful amenities and serene atmosphere truly made it feel like a personal retreat, creating memories we’ll cherish forever. If you’re planning a special occasion or just want to escape with loved ones, Palmer House is the perfect choice. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place to celebrate!

We had 11 of us for a long weekend and the house and host were absolutely perfect. Amber and her home were amazing, clean, well equipped and just a great place. I have been using VRBO for a while and I have to say this has been our best experience. Thank you Amber!

Great place for a group

Had a great time at the Palmer house. Well appointed, really comfortable beds. Best for couples or families since most beds are king sized, so it’s harder for friends/adults to share. Has everything you need to feed a crowd and was very comfortable, spacious, and beautiful. We had 8 adults fit very easily.

Satisfied our every need

We couldn't have asked for a better place to accommodate us in Sonoma. Clean, spacious, well equipped, plenty of areas to gather and allow privacy when needed. Beds were super comfy. Pool house and Putting green were a pleasant surprise. Pool is large and inviting with plenty of lounging areas. We loved this house and would highly recommend staying here. Host, Amber was very attentive and responds to messages quickly.

A wonderful place

We loved our time at the Palmer Farmhouse - it is a spacious, beautiful house, with an amazing kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and very clean and well equipped. The A/C works very well, but was not needed most of the time. Having the pool was so fun and relaxing. The location is great, near downtown Sonoma, and easy parking in the driveway in front of the house. We hope to return someday!

Great Location, Lovely yard

We loved our stay. The house is beautiful, but not quite as expansive as pictured. Comfy beds. The backyard is gorgeous. Host is helpful and responsive. The poolhouse is really great, and could be a wonderful space as an office or hangout for teens. The laundry room/ensuite had some mold on the shower curtain and on the ceiling. My SIL told me at the end of the stay, but I have a feeling they'd have remediated it if we reached out sooner. The water pressure in the shower wasn't awesome. One of the kitchen sinks leaked. A lot of the windows aren't covered in the bedrooms so lots of morning light. Hard to give it a full 5 stars, but we still enjoyed the property and our stay.

Great location and family friendly

The house was clean and nicely renovated. Easy to get to and close to town. Quiet neighborhood and very peaceful. Our kids loved the house too and would be great for two families or one big family. Great size kitchen and enough space for everyone to hang out. The pool was very warm and clean. The pool does have a hard cover on it which was great for our young babies that aren’t independent swimmers yet. Only thing to note is that they seem to be very strict about quiet hours, so I wouldn’t recommend for any one wanting to have loud music outside. It was great for us since our kids are in bed early anyways. Overall I would definitely recommend and would be happy to stay here again.

Beautiful House and Great Location

The house was absolutely perfect. Just 1.5 miles to Sonoma Square and located on a quiet street, it couldn't have been better. The pool was the perfect temperature and the kitchen was well stocked with all the things you need to have robust meals. The hosts are also super professional and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for 3-generation family get-together

Palmer Farmhouse was an ideal place to relax and bond with family (ages 7-80). We enthusiastically voted to return next year. Pool time was the focus of activity.The kitchen was flexible in its use. Many small clusters of seats in and out for small conversations. Bedrooms vary in configuration but we found the just-right room for each family. You feel far away from the world here. Stores are 5 minutes away. Amber support was awesome.

Great stay, great location, easy communication!

Stayed at the Palmer house during Memorial Day weekend, our 2 families had a great time, there was ample space to hang out, the pool and hot tub was amazing! Location is very close to Sonoma town. Biked directly from house to Sonoma trail. Highly recommended.

My wife and I were lucky enough to have both families join at this amazing house after a few days of golf at Pebble Beach. Everyone stayed in the same house, and people who are usually happy staying anywhere were all happy here. The house had everything we needed for our group of 9 with ages ranging from 3-73. The recommendations from the hosts were spot on and even though we had been in town before we were able to find new things that we loved doing. Everything was first class since the day we found this place online. If we are in town again with a group this size, we will be back.
