Restez dans notre cabine étroite privé et isolé de toutes les attractions Smoky

Notre cabine est à la fois 3 chambre, deux salles de bains salon avec foyer au bois chambre avec jacuzzi séparé avec cheminée. Cabine dispose d'une cuisine entièrement équipée avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin de faire une collation au dîner de Thanksgiving. Nous avons également un barbecue au charbon de bois. Notre terrasse est assez grande pour accueillir toute votre famille avec deux chaises de table. Profitez de la magnifique lever de soleil sur le pont comme il vient sur les montagnes avec votre café du matin ou un chocolat chaud. Randonnée dans les montagnes autour de la cabine ou prendre un court voyage à toutes les attractions locales à Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge ou un voyage de pêche à l'un des lacs et ruisseaux locaux. Ne pas oublier d'obtenir votre repas a commencé avant votre départ dans la mijoteuse il sera vous attend lorsque vous arrivez à la maison.
Tout ce que vous devez apporter lors de votre voyage à notre cabine est votre vêtements, de la nourriture et des articles de toilette. Nous fournissons vos draps et serviettes pour votre séjour. Nous fournissons également des démarreurs de serviettes en papier et de savon à vaisselle. Ainsi, vous pouvez passer votre temps de détente et de regarder le soleil se lever et en écoutant les sons de la nature. S'il vous plaît soyez conscient que notre cabine se trouve à 3600 pieds sur le sommet d'une montagne, donc en hiver, vous aurez besoin d'un lecteur, ou chaînes, 4 roues. En hiver, nous avons parfois de la neige avant tout le monde. S'il vous plaît noter qu'il n'y a pas de remboursement en raison de conditions de route qui est pourquoi nous vous suggérons d'obtenir l'assurance de vacances en particulier dans les mois d'hiver. Il n'y a également aucun remboursement si vous écourtez votre séjour et aucun remboursement ne sera offert après l'enregistrement Dépôt partiel sera retenue si POUR fumer sur la propriété, NON RESPECT procédure de départ ou pour le nettoyage excessif. Ruined our whole weekend

Wasnt clean, dead bugs all over the floor, fridge was all rusted and not clean inside, oven doesnt work, no firepit on porch, smelled like mildew and mold, mold behind both toilets, air conditioners taped into windows ramp needs fixed, the road to get their is terrible and not even safe,. We didnt even saty and had to get a hotel room instead

A relaxing get away

We felt very at home here and the view was amazing! We also did not have trouble finding the home like others and was able to get up and down the gravel road with ease. There were two dogs that like to hang out around the house, but we did not mind they were very sweet. Would definitely stay here again.

Road

Road is very rough really need a 4 wheel drive but my mini van and chevy cruze made it up there. Can easily tare things up. But other than that it is a great place to stay

We stayed the first night only because it was 11pm us getting there. It was very nasty! We left the next morning and went to find another cabin somewhere!

It reminds me of a hunting camp but just no where to clean a deer.

There is no where to hang any of your hanging clothes. But for the price it wasn’t bad. Thank you.

Very secluded

The fireplace/jacuzzi room has to be the most relaxing place I've ever spent time. It would have been nice to actually have the fire pit listed in the details, bc the nights get super cold. There is a bit of mold in the bathrooms, as other people have mentioned, but it's definitely nothing as bad as people have made it out to be. Definitely get firewoood! Your stay won't be the same without a fire roaring. :) Would definitely stay again.

Peaceful and secluded

We had a wonderful stay at the property. It is a mountain cabin with amenties such as a full kitchen, hot tub, and air conditioners. We loved sitting outside and listening to nature. If you are looking for somewhere close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge but secluded enough to relax and enjoy the evenings this is a great place. It isnt a five star resort, it is a mountain cabin. The road is steep. Drop it into 1st gear and dont stop. Keep your turns wide and you will be fine. We have a Kia Sorento and had no problems. We will definitely be back!!

Needs better taken care of

The place was nice ,the road up was pretty steep but I made it up in a van so as long as you follow the instructions your good but when we rented the place I was aware that the oven would not work but it stated that the stove worked and it did not also none of the dvd players worked and the one that did did not have a remote to press play for movies I paid for 2 nights ended up only staying one wasted would be a great place I it was just taken better care of

We were unable to reach the cabin by car. When my sister and I WALKED up to the cabin while waiting on a tow truck to get my car out,the ramp was extremely unsafe. The porch is in major disrepair. We were unable to even get into the property. I had both of my disabled parents waiting in my car and there is no way they could access the property. We were unable to stay at the property. A lot of wasted money.

STEEP RAMP!!!

Would not recommend for people with disabilities. Ramp is extremely steep. Too steep for me to roll up on my own and im pretty fit. The deck is in dire need of repair. The back wheel of my chair broke through twice and had to have help getting out. Pretty scary. ( me and the chair weigh 165 total) the road to the cabin is TREACHEROUS! 4 wheel drive not needed, but highly recommended and if you are in a vehicle the size of an Expedition, you can forget about making the last two turns. Other than that, our stay was fine

Would never stay there

This was so bad. When i got there it had a mold smell to it. I noticed that the beds had bugs on them. When i called and talked to the owner about this i was told that he had it sprayed for normal things. The refrigerator is rusted on the outside bottom. I asked since i was not staying there and why about my money back and he refused. I was told to have a good trip. You have to have a 4 wheel drive truck to get up to the cabin which it did not mention it was 2 cabins in one. I nor any of my family or friends will ever stay at any of his properties

Cleanliness

The house needs some major upkeep, but the place could have been much cleaner. The toaster oven looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in years. Pans all needed washing before using. Tubs were dusty. Roaches dead and alive, and there were a lot of them. I understand about bugs, but I'd say it hadn't been professionally sprayed. The cabin itself was in a beautiful spot. On reviews I'd read there were complaints about the road, but it may have been rough and bumpy but easy enough to get up. The deck was a mess and dirty as well as the furniture on it. Other than the lack of cleanliness we had a good time.

You pay for what you get

The price of the cabin was great! Cleanliness not great! It did not have a working smoke alarm, it did not have electricity or battery to operate. Also oven does not work, we tried to make cinnamon rolls and then realized the oven doesn't work. Did not seem clean, there was something dirty on tub and a hair in tub. I'm glad I brought lysol wipes which I used to clean tubs, toilet seats and sinks. Couch is the worst couch! Plastic trash bag outside by French door and active wasp nest by door to get in. Even though it was a great price I would not stay here again.

Two times is the charm

We stayed at this cabin last year and we were mesmerized by the view and the ample space for our family of 7. With 3 bedrooms,2 full bathrooms, a jacuzzi,a kitchen, a spacious deck,and a river right at the bottom of the mountain what more can you ask for when getting away from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. Hummingbear cabin will always have a special place in our hearts. We have made beautiful memories just at this cabin alone.No issues what so ever with our stay. Again I repeat for those of you staying in the cabin it is steep getting up to the cabin, if you are not use to driving on gravel/ uphill then have someone more experienced drive the vehicle up the mountain,2 of my kia fortes made it up fine last year, this year we opted for my fathers F150 definitely felt the difference, but not impossible with a smaller vehicle just take it nice and slow with enough give and push where needed (trust me you will know when). It is the middle of the woods expect critters running around those of you that can’t stand bugs find somewhere more fitting that is not in natures home, don’t be bougie in the woods/nature. The cabin is fully equipped w the things necessary to cook a nice stove top meal or do as we did and barbecue outside none of my family members complained of our awesome grilled food. Another great thing it’s so far away from people you have nothing but privacy the closest neighbors you have are literally a block away. Thank you again humminbear cabin.

So nice we booked it twice.

I want to start by saying what an exquisite view. We come from the city so we wanted to get away for the holiday, we packed all the essentials and then some. It is a cabin in the mountains people!!!The cabin is gorgeous, the property is well kept, the heaters work, the bugs its nature, the kitchen is fully equipped, it was mentioned the oven does not work but the stove top and the microwave did. We grilled every single day, brought our own projector for movie nights. In regards to the exact location we managed to figure out how to climb the mountain with our small vehicles (kia fortes), It is steep, it is on top of the mountain, this was our first time and although it was intimidating we made it up and down several times with ease. You cant beat the price, you cant beat the location, you cant beat the view, you cant beat the calm and quiet, you cant beat the professional and quick communication from the owner. I promise if you are eyeing this place do it you will not regret it. We loved it so much we booked it again days before we even checked out perfect place for our family of 7. Thank you Hummingbear cabin for the great memories and the ones yet to come.

Not satisfied

The property is not being kept up. The oven did not work and according to the reviews, it hasn't worked since July. The ramp has rotten boards. The commode in master bath had to be plunged at least 3 times. The beds were uncomfortable. There were not enough heaters to keep the place warm. We have 11 rentals at home. We fix them to keep them in good shape.. The heating is central heating and air. When an appliance tears up, we get it fixed. We put them another one in while it is being fixed. We will not rent this one again.

Great mountain experience

I've seen a lot of bad reviews of this place. It's true that the driveway is scary at first. It is doable though. It is also true that it is not five star hotel clean (It's a good price though so, you can't have it all). There is a real live fireplace. It is there and a main source of heat. There is two really good heaters. We made a fire and we did bring two little space heaters with us. We had a great experience though! The wood is expensive around town but there is a place that we found on Upper middle fork road (coming out of pigeon forge) that sales wood. The guy's name is Wayne and you can't find better people! If you want to just be a regular tourist seeing attractions this place might not be for you because it does require work but if you are like me, you actually get to see what the people in this place live like. It was the best experience that I've had in the mountains.

Not what we expected

I will say that after going back and looking at the pictures, it does look exactly as posted. But once we got to the house we were not impressed. We booked for several nights and ended up not staying a single night after driving 6 hours. My toddler walked around inside the house while we unpacked the car and her feet were disgusting! We packed food for the entire week because we didn’t plan to leave the cabin- but once we got there we found a hand written note saying that the oven/stove was not working. But also “sorry for the bugs” which was another turn off. I mentioned we have a little one- and the deck was soooo unsafe for her. She would not be able to sit outside and enjoy the weather with us! — I will say you pay for what you get. We went the cheap route and found that obviously wasn’t the best option. I mentioned earlier we never even stayed a night- we immediately packed up again and went to find a hotel!! We did not feel at home or comfortable to stay a week.

Terrible don't do it

The road leading up to this cabin is not safe the road was flooded and the road was wet And covered in trees that had fallen and the drive up the drive way had deep holes and was unsafe with steep turns. we have a 4 wheel drive and got stuck 2 times and that was enough for us. We payed too much for our cars wasn't worth anyone getting hurt or damaging our cars so .We messaged the home owner and told him what happend. and he didn't get back to us for 2 days. And after I told him We never made it up there and what happend again weve not heard anything back from him still and weve been home now for 2 weeks. That location of that cabin is not safe at all. Will not ever rent this cabin again.
