Me and a good friend stayed here from out of town! This place was amazing and everything was in a close proximity everything! Really would love to stay here again!

Convenient short stay

We were there for the golf tournament. Kids loved the arcade games. We did use the pool table at the community center. Home was clean and close to restaurants and convenient to where we were going.

Great place, close to everything.

Perfect place for me and the 2 kids. We were in town for Heroescon, it was an easy drive to the convention center and really close to Carrowinds!

I would stay again

The homeowner is great the only thing I had a problem with no air condition which he did his part he contacted the people to come fix they just didn't never come it was hot for 2 days but overall great place to stay it but a great place to stay

Stay & Play met all our needs for the Charlotte marathon weekend. Location was at a convenient distance to the airport, downtown and shopping centers, restaurants. The rooms were spacious, with a full bathroom for each bedroom. The townhouse was quiet. A great experience and we thank you.

Fun place to hang out

Met family and stayed for a few nights over a family event. Very comfortable and well equipped. Very convenient to the airport. Owners were easy to communicate with and were able to accommodate us for an extra night- thank you! So much better for us visiting with family than the hotel option. Outdoor seating was a nice bonus. Great find!

Perfect location for bank of america

10-15 minute drive to Bank of America stadium. $17 Uber before tip. Apartment was just as described. Communication was great. We would definitely book again.

Great location

It was near all the places we wanted to go. Just across the community street to the gym and the pool! Our 7 and 14 year old boys could go as often as they wanted! The unit is kid friendly! Washer and dryer a plus. Needs a new frying pan! Tropical storm Debby was unigue to our experience... but we didn’t lose power!!

Can’t wait to Stay and Play again!

Ken and Tara were amazing hosts, super friendly and helpful, and incredibly hospitable. The condo was very comfortable and well supplied. Soft, fluffy towels were plentiful, kitchen was well supplied, and they even left some toiletries for us in each bathroom. Beds were firm but better than most hotels we have stayed at in the area. Our entire family enjoyed the video games, darts, and fun lighting. Location was very close to our family and still convenient to downtown and other attractions. We are looking forward to staying here again whenever our adult son is able to travel with us also (much more affordable than two separate hotel rooms!).

Just what we needed.

Easy check-in and check-out. Ken was responsive and easy to work with. The unit is spacious with two walk-in style closets. TV's in every room were a plus. The couch is not a pull-out bed style; it is a wide couch that allows you to remove the pillows, which doubles as a "bed". The only issue we experienced was the air conditioning. The unit never seemed to cool down, so we had to open the door to the patio area in the mornings and evenings to get some cool air to circulate. Otherwise, this was my first experience with VRBO, and it was very simple.

Technology ignorant

Unable to control the thermostat as it was offline. Numerous phone and Vrbo messages with owner Ken who controlled the thermostat. It was 77* in the house and blowing hot air. Owner said at 2am he woukd have ac man out to fix it within an hour. One hour later we called Ken back and he then told us to open windows and ac man woukd be there between 7-730am or we woukd get 100% refund if we decided to leave. We didn't sleep in the beds just waited on the couch after a late night of checking in from a 14 hour drive. At 9:39 am still no ac man, no answer from Ken , so we checked out and he refused to refund our money. Never will VRBO with this man again .

We are sorry you feel that way about your stay we work very hard to make sure our place are perfect for our guest as you can tell by our past reviews. Perhaps you’re right, we do have the latest technology in our rentals. Nest thermostats and self-checkin, Bluetooth speakers, WiFi, and streaming televisions. We are sorry that you didn’t understand how to work that technology. We have updated our guest book to give more information on how to work the technology. We decided against refund because it went against our VRBO cancelation policy and maintenance stated the a/c was not on right settings (user error) Again, Thank you for your review.

Very Disappointing Stay - Dirty, Broken A/C, and Missing Essentials

My family & I stayed at this property for 3 nights & were extremely disappointed from the moment we arrived. On Thurs. we walked into a home that looked like it hadnt been cleaned. The ceiling fans were covered in dust, which we wiped off ourselves just to use. The air condition wasn’t working & the temp. inside the home climbed to 80. I messaged the host, who told me there were fans in the rooms & that maint. would come Fri. morn. Sleeping in that heat was miserable. To add to that, the home was poorly stocked. I was told more towels would be dropped off, but, we had to go to Family Dollar and purchase our own towels & soap. The host later said he delivered the items but these are essentials that should have been ready before guests arrived. On Fri. morn., maint. came & confirmed the AC unit was frozen. It worked briefly after a temporary fix, but by 10 that same night, it was out again. We endured a second night of heat with only fans. Maint. returned Sat. morn., confirmed the unit had frozen again, & provided a portable unit to get us through the last night. The host apologized & said the unit was only 3 months old, & that “things happen.” While I understand issues can arise, this was a major problem that affected our entire stay, & the lack of proactive support made it worse. At no point did the host offer to move us to one of his other available properties. Instead, we were offered 1 free night for a multi-day stay filled with problems, & no refund for the disruption.
