Fantastic place and location!

Loved our stay here, beautiful place, highly appointed, exactly as advertised. Owners were very friendly and communicative. Wonderful views and location was perfect. Easy, short drive to go visit Hot Springs historic area which is a must do.

Great cozy property with excellent amenities

I stumbled across this gem of a property after another one on VRBO fell through and I'm so happy it did. My family was super excited about this and for once, the pictures did justice to the property.

Delightful Hot Springs experience

This garage apartment provides the perfect relaxing lakeside getaway. My daughter and I had everything we needed for our weekend stay, and the clean and contemporary decor set the tone for a peaceful, calm visit. The beautiful view of the lake and the feeling of living in the trees were exactly what we had hoped for. We would definitely welcome the opportunity for a return visit!

Weekend Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Driftwood Estates. The apartment is tucked away on the lake just outside of Hot Springs and a short easy drive into the heart of town. The area is beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. The apartment is clean and very well appointed. The bed is super comfortable! We will definitely stay here again!

Exactly as described

Quiet little apartment nestled on a wooded lot. We didn’t see how to get to the sun deck, though. Neat and very clean, easy access and even saw a few deer on the drive and in the yard!

Fun and quite little get away

I love AR. Hot Springs was a great vacation and this place was located close enough to all the action but also quite and a nice "cabin" like experience. It would have been nice with a GF but me and the boys had fun. The secret bed was a hit with the youngest. The oldest was brave enough to take the ladder up to the loft and sleep there. Kitchen had everything we needed. Easy parking. Wifi was strong enough but we did end up using my phone as a hotspot as the iPad they like to use needed a better connection. Would stay again!

Photos very Deceiving

Cute little apartment above a garage, behind the main home & not "on the lake". Directions did not take us to the apartment, it brings you down Joe Rd on Google maps, that's wrong. We were comfortable during our stay, but won't book this place again. Wasn't what we were expecting from the photos & description - very deceiving. Got to hangout with the neighborhood dog, daily as he barked excessively at all the beautiful deer that roamed the front of the property at dusk/night. The loft was convenient for my 10 yr old and the Murphy bed in the living room was ok for my mother in law. She was thrilled about having to sleep on it with the morning sun in that room, but she survived. The dock was convenient to launch our inflatable kayak though and was really nice at night to look over the lake. All in all it was a good

No romance in this getaway.

Most dangerous place I’ve ever stayed. Steep stairs into the place, no one could traverse the ladder to the loft, step up to the kitchen waiting for an accident. We slept in the Murphy bed in the living room because the king bed was so uncomfortable and sinking. There is no private outdoor space for guests and little privacy. This is a terrible spot for friends, lovers, families and the older traveler. It feels like donated furniture in the guest house and the layout was not well planned. Big bathroom with a tiny shower. Unusable kitchen with a hotel sized refrigerator. I’m not sure who would enjoy this place. We came to Hot Springs to enjoy nature and had no balcony or patio but we sure enjoyed the Double Tree off the lake.

GREAT Girls Weekend

What a wonderful guest house of a beautiful home that sits right on Lake Hamilton! Perfect spot to just rest & relax. Anything you need from town is a very short drive. The guest garage apartment is well appointed. You are given use of a great sun deck just above the boat dock for sunbathing & enjoying amazing sunsets. We took our favorite floats and bobbed around in the lake all day long. There is a deck ladder you lower off of the boat dock to get in & out of the water. The lake was busy but even in our fifties we didn’t have any issues with current. It was fun to watch all of the boats, next time we will probably rent or bring one. The walk to and from the water is not long or difficult but it is a hill. The owners had a large private gathering at the home during the same weekend we rented. I personally wouldn’t rent again during an event but the family members that we met were absolutely lovely. I have saved it as a “favorite” and hope to take 1 or 2 best friends for a girls weekend again or it would be fantastic for a romantic getaway.

Guest House on Lake Hamilton

Amazing guest house with a penthouse view! Very comfortable living area and bedroom with amenities in every room! Relaxing decor and outdoor setting! Loved the access to have a front row seat to the lake!! Would love to go back again:)

Fall getaway trip

Great long weekend enjoying Hot Springs on beautiful Lake Hamilton. Enjoyed Mount Magazine and Hot Springs State parks for hiking and the Garvan Woodland Gardens. Nice getaway from Dallas.

Great location and very helpful Hostess

The house is beautiful and has a great interior. Great location and views! Michelle was great to work with - was very prompt with any questions and very helpful in assisting to make sure we had a pleasant stay! Highly Recommend!
