Welcome to our modern house in Girdwood, Alaska! Nestled less than a mile from the ski area, with its prime location, stunning views, and ample space for up to 11 guests, this is an ideal place to relax, unwind, and enjoy all Girdwood offers.

Your guests will enjoy comfortable accommodations. The primary boasts an ensuite bathroom complete with steam shower and a plush king bed. The second bedroom also offers a king bed, while the third bedroom features a queen bed and a triple twin bunk, perfect for families or groups. A fourth bedroom is located in the lower-level apartment, accessible from the main house, and features a queen bed. There is also a full-size sleeper sofa in the lower-level apartment living room.

Boasting a large kitchen equipped with luxury appliances and a spacious island, the main kitchen is a cook’s paradise. Gather around the dining table to savor your creations. Our lower level also features a second fully equipped kitchen for added convenience.

Our main living area is perfect for relaxing with your guests. With floor-to-ceiling windows on each end, you'll enjoy stunning mountain views from every angle. Kick back on the comfortable sofas, cozy up by the fireplace, or enjoy the big-screen TV.

Dine outside on our spacious deck and grill up your favorites on our large outdoor grill. Or unwind after a day of outdoor adventure while enjoying mountain views in our one year old 7-person hot tub. The 2-car garage has been converted into a game room with a ping pong table and a commercial grade Precor elliptical trainer.

Had a great stay in the best house in girdwood! Tons of space for the 11 of us! My family was visiting from PA and the check in and out was super easy and straightforward which is huge after so much flying. Would absolutely stay again!

Exceptional in every way!

A stunning and comfortable stay with spectacular mountain views from every window. Clean, a fully equipped kitchen, and some unexpected extras like a heat lamp for the patio, flip flops/towels for the hot tub, and a basket of snacks for hiking. The location was convenient to town center, the Alyeska ski resort, and great hiking trails. Our family of four loved it and hated to leave!

Amazing stay!

We had an excellent experience at this wonderful home. Fourth of July weekend was amazing in Girdwood. Weather was perfect. Great places to hike and explore. The train trip to the Spencer Glacier followed by the scenic raft trip down the river was perfect. Shout out to the Chugach Adventures team for all they do. Thank you!!

Once again a great stay!

Richard is the most attentive rental host I have experienced. This is our second stay at his beautiful home in girdwood. The house is well equipped with anything you might need, the beds are comfortable, and the views from the hot tub are amazing. I would highly suggest staying here! There’s plenty of room for a comfortable and relaxing stay and a fantastic host is so appreciated!

Ski trip

Great location for a group of buddies for a weekend ski trip! Property is beautiful and well stocked and appointed. One minor issue with the property from the previous tenants but the owner was quick to notify us and make it right. Zero complaints, would absolutely stay here again!

I cannot think of a single thing that would improve this home and the experience of staying in it. Every need was anticipated and filled. You will want to stay here. And the views are amazing!

Beautiful home with gorgeous views!

You will not be disappointed!! My family and I had the pleasure of staying here over New Year's Eve and were able to enjoy the fireworks from the deck/hot tub!! The house was spotless, with comfortable beds and bedding. The host was amazing and had all the little extra comforts and special touches, from a snack basket and bottled water to flip flops/towels for the hot tub...and more! Thank you Richard and can't wait to stay here again:)

A perfect family ski getaway!

We had the best stay! The house was better than the description and incredibly comfortable. It was fully stocked with great appliances, big table for the family to sit around, boot warmer to dry out after a long day of skiing, games, chargers, hot tub, heated garage, washer and dryer, steam shower…the house had it all! My girls loved the triple bunk bed and we all had good nights of sleep in the cozy beds. Richard was a great host! We will definitely be back for more ski adventures!

Fantastic

Beautiful property, stunning views, and a host that seems to genuinely care about the comfort of guests. 10/10! (Or maybe 9.5/10. But that's just because the spare pillows for the fold out couch were flat. lol. Other than that everything was perfection!) Absolutely loved it.

Perfection

The location, amenities, communication, comfort, views, quality and convenience this property offers rivals anything imaginable. No matter your reason to visit Girdwood, if you find this house available, book it. The attention to detail, modern vibe, and incredible views made it feel like a combination of luxury resort and private residence. We had 4 male adults visiting for our annual ski trip and had plenty of room. We could have have been happier. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Well-appointed home near Alyeska

This is our third week long vacation in Girdwood over the past few years, each at a different rental property. Richard’s home is by far our favorite. The property is beautiful, comfortable and well-appointed, with every appliance or small comfort we could desire, including a basket of snacks, coffee pods, tea, hot chocolate, etc; even games to keep us entertained, and a crockpot for an easy chili dinner. The living room has a great view of the mountain, lit up for night skiing, and it was a quick drive to the resort every morning. The hot tub was definitely a nice bonus after a day of skiing. We look forward to planning another trip soon, and hope we can stay here again.
