Walking distance from the historic cobblestone paved streets. Surrounded by local waterfront shops and restaurants that showcase the vibrant developing city of Baltimore! Registration number STR-02710
We have stayed here twice now while visiting friends in Baltimore. It is a good amount of space for our family (2 little kids) for a weekend stay, and in a good location - short walk from restaurants & the inner harbor. Will likely stay here again!
The neighbors was so loud, fighting from 11pm till 2am. I was there for business purposes and they made such a beautiful place an horrible experience. I literally thought someone being murdered .
Stayed with husband and 2 boys for 1 night. Unit is on 2nd floor, and clean. Check in was ok. Bathroom had only half roll of toilet paper. I asked host where to find more - no reply. No hand towels or wash clothes in bathroom. Kitchen sink was clogged, informed host - also no response. Very loud and noisy. Could hear people walking on floor above us at 2am. Would not stay again.
We were a little skeptical at first, the apartment is in an older building and the road that itâs on looked unkept but once we went inside we were very impressed with this place. Everything looked new and up to date and very clean. The location is perfect for exploring Fells Point, itâs in walking distance. I would definitely recommend this place.
Weekend trip to fells point was wonderful! The place was fantastic and so insanely cute. Perfectly clean and everything worked as it should. I will definitely come back!!!
Charmingly decorated renovated apartment couple blocks from downtown little creepy at night. The apartment itself was adorable. Well appointed at everything we needed.
My first impression of the neighborhood was not good. Many car repair places and vehicles on the street that werenât even functional. The apartment was lovely. Very clean and comfortable! A slight glitch in the code for the door, but the owners answered my text right away and were very helpful in resolving the issue.
Once my husband and I got to exploring the area, there were many nice restaurants near the wharf, just a few blocks down the street. In all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone traveling in this area.
This space wasâŠfine. The listing is accurate and not misleading, but this space was not good. There was mold growing out of the coffee maker, there was no soap or towels in the bathroom, and you can hear every sound from every room in the apartment as well as the rest of the building. I struggled to get timely responses from the host - I got the door code very, very late, and the fire alarm battery was going off and multiple calls and texts went unanswered. It was cheap and fine for the night but one of the worse home rentals Iâve ever done.
The apartment was newly remodeled and very clean. Everything in the apartment seemed new, including appliances. The area was ok, but was easy to access with Lyfts. The host went above and beyond to help me when I forgot something behind. He was wonderful throughout!
I would have liked to have seen a baking sheet and oven mit for use during my stay. Otherwise, I had all I needed.
The apartment was great. The location to where we needed to go was good area outside of the property very dirty. Rundown
Communication with the property manager was 0. Call everyday for 5 days With no response
It was a 3 girls' weekend to celebrate a birthday and attend a Crab Festival. The apartment was as shown in the listing. Not yet the most attractive block on the street (the neighborhood is in a renaissance phase), but the location was good (4-5 blocks walk to most activities/stores/restaurants/the waterfront - no need for a car). It is a 2nd floor apartment - the spiral steps to get there (no elevator) are a little hard to navigate with luggage. Got off to a slow start communicating with the host, but once we connected, he was extremely responsive and a perfect host! All in all, it was a great weekend, and we will definitely return!
The proterty does look nice inside. They had a packman machine and it was generally clean but my toddler spilled some water on the floor and it was obvious that they hadn't mopped it in a while.
However, we had two major issues
1. The street is in the hood. The apartment and floors/doors leading to it have been renovated but the other doors and the street itself look very run down and unsafe. We believe the guys next door have a car scraping business because the street is full of beaten up cars. This street and a couple more around there looked very sketchy despite being close to nice areas.
2. One of the fire detectors kept beeping due to low battery. I tried contacting the host at 5 pm and went to voicemail. I left the voicemail with all the details and called several more times to no avail. We were able to make it stop just for it to start beeping at 3 am.
Overall we would not stay here anytime soon at least, maybe in 5 years the area is better since it looks like there's lots of construction
Apartment good, check-in and communication not so good
The apartment is on the edge of the "touristy" section of Fells Point. The area isn't great but it's a short walk to the waterfront and my daughter and I felt safe. I booked the apartment last minute to attend a funeral in the area. The owner sent three simultaneous text messages with instructions for getting into the house and the apartment about 45 mins before check-in. I was coming from a funeral and admittedly not at my best. I didn't read to the bottom of one of the texts and had difficulty getting into the house. The owner replied with the info, which was much appreciated, and we got in. The owner apparently has another unit in the same building. He sent a google doc that had instructions but it was for the 3rd floor apartment, not the 2nd (or maybe he was trying to make it cover both apartments?). The document included his methodology for the entry code to the apartment. We accidentally went to the apartment on the 3rd floor instead of the 2nd, referred to the text messages and google doc, and used the code (2 digit floor number plus 4 digit date) to get into the wrong apartment. I sent the owner photos and text messages, noting that we had gotten into the 3rd floor unit, it appeared that someone was already there and HE NEVER REPLIED! We eventually realized that we were on the wrong floor, texted the owner again and still NO REPLY!
Luckily for him, we didn't steal the other renters' belongings but what the heck?? I would never rent from this owner again.
