Nice Home-Unfortunate Experience
The home & property are beautiful & we were allowed to checkin early, which helped with arrivals in our group. The stay was nice, but there were issues that guests should be aware of. We paid to use the hot tub for the duration of our stay. The 1st night, it wouldn't warm up. Despite being told it was warming up remotely, it never did. Maint came the next day & found an issue that was fixed later that day. The home is on a lg property & we tried to close the blinds for privacy at night but the panel on the slider was broken & unusable. Mgmt said it would be fixed after our departure. The master bath had a vanity repurposed for the room, but the outlets were covered & an ext cord was used. The cord didn't work, so we all shared 1 bath to get ready, which was inconvenient. There were other minor issues & given the property's high-end status, that is worth mentioning. These were reported to mgmt. Upon checkout, we asked for a refund for the day we couldn't use the hot tub. Mgmt required us to fill out a form outside of VRBO, which included agreeing that leaving a review would delay the process. They promised a response in 1-2 wks. I req a refund of 168 after further consideration due to the issues we experienced. After the host reviewed us, we had a 2 wks to review them. Conveniently, they needed an ext to review our request, which I believe was to avoid us leaving a review. VRBO is investigating this. I would avoid staying with SunnyDays due to their questionable processes.
