Cette grande maison privée est parfaite pour une grande réunion de famille ou un partage avec plusieurs familles. Situé sur Ocean Boulevard, juste en face de la plage. (Ocean Blvd. est une route de plage à deux voies avec une limite de vitesse de 25 km / h) AVEC UNE BELLE PISCINE PRIVÉE!

Maison confortable, décorée avec beaucoup de goût, sur le thème de la plage. Beaucoup de nouveaux meubles et de la literie; Téléviseurs à écran plat dans toutes les chambres.

DOWNSTAIRS: 3 BR / 2 BA: 1 lit Queen, 1 lit Queen + 1 Twin, 1 lit Queen + 1 lit Twin; Comprend une cuisine entièrement équipée avec une grande île et prendre le petit-déjeuner, un salon / salle à manger ouvert et un nouveau canapé en cuir, télévision à ��cran plat. Laveuse et sécheuse pleine grandeur dans la NOUVELLE salle de lavage (mai 2017)

Le 2ème étage s'ouvre sur un joli porche couvert offrant une vue partielle sur l'océan et un accès facile à la plage de l'autre côté de la rue.

UPSTAIRS: 4 BR / 2 BA: 1 King, 1 King, 2 Double et 1 Queen PLUS 1 lit jumeau. Beau grand salon avec un nouveau canapé et une grande télévision à écran plat. Un lit de repos supplémentaire permet de s'asseoir ou de dormir avec un accès au balcon. NOUVEAU bar avec 4 tabourets pour plus de places assises. (Mai 2017)

À quelques pâtés de maisons (sur US 17), vous trouverez un mini-golf, des restaurants, des bars, des magasins de plage, la rue principale avec le pavillon et des promenades en bord de mer.

Cette belle maison est située à seulement 5 minutes au nord de Barefoot Landing. Il y a plus de 100 magasins de plage, magasins spécialisés, restaurants et attractions ici. Avec des prix avantageux !! Les enfants adoreront le spectacle du tigre blanc et marcheront sur les ponts flottants qui relient le complexe à des manèges pour enfants et à d’autres attractions. The House of Blues propose d'excellents concerts d'été ainsi qu'un délicieux menu pour le petit-déjeuner, le déjeuner et le dîner. Le théâtre de l'Alabama fait également partie de Barefoot et propose du théâtre en direct et des concerts de célébrités, rien de moins que Broadway!

Un peu plus au sud se trouve Broadway at the Beach. Il s'agit d'un immense complexe comprenant l'aquarium de Ripley, le théâtre IMAX, les manèges Zip Line, la nouveauté de 2011 WonderWorks (un musée scientifique consacré aux sciences) et bien d'autres attractions. Il existe des restaurants et des discothèques, tels que le Hard Rock Cafe, le Planet Hollywood, le Joe's Crab Shack, le Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville et bien d'autres. Parc aquatique Myrtle Waves, MagiQuest, Boardwalk Arcade, Fantasy Golf sont quelques-uns des «endroits où jouer» à Broadway. Il y a vraiment quelque chose pour chacun!

Great week at Myrtle

Having the pool to at the house was great. The location within North Myrtle was very convenient...walk to the beach, private enough, close in driving to all attractions. Very nice house to spend the week at Myrtle.

Biggest complaint no trash cans in bathrooms, pots and pans need to be replaced and kitchen lacked large bowls or anything for larger group. Light from windows was awful need curtains in bedrooms and ceiling fans in first level rooms. No vacuum to be found and only 1 small broom with dust pan which was definitely not enough to keep up with sand! Location was good! All in all we had a great time.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was in a perfect location. We came down in a few groups and had people all around us both directions. The home was not as clean and maintained as it should have been. The oven handle was loose when we got there and it only had a few towels in each bathroom and the bathrooms and floors could have been a lot cleaner. The pool area could have been cleaner as well. WE SEEN 3 ROACHES. That's nasty. Overall it was ok, however I'd look for something different next time with all 5 star reviews instead.

Multi-Family Vacation - Great Time!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Decided to have a multi-family vacation to celebrate a retirement. 18 people consisting of 3 grandma's, 3 sisters, and 8 grandchildren. I was a little concerned seeing a recent review, but we were all exceedingly pleased with the house and our stay. The house was perfect for what we needed. When we arrived, it was clean and ready to go. Kids were in the pool within 30 min. The pool was just the right size for the 8(yes 8) kids. Not a huge pool, but it fit the bill. Having an outside shower was an added bonus. The beach was a directly across the street which made it super easy to get back and forth quickly. The house had plenty of pot and pans for cooking if you want to stay in to eat. When we made meals, we let the kids have the bar and the adults split up between outside and upstairs. The only thing missing was a gas grill. There was a charcoal grill, but having the ease of a gas grill would have been nice. The two giant tv's were a bit hit with the little ones. It was also nice that the kids and adults could each have a tv. Each bedroom has it's own tv as well so there's no shortage on tv's. The bedrooms were sufficient to hold everyone and there was ample storage in each room. One bonus was having 4 bathrooms with 18 people! One previous renter said the bathrooms were small, but I disagree. Could the bathrooms use an update, maybe, but we were not disappointed.If you are worried about having enough to do in close proximity, don't. You'll run out of time before you get to everything. We did mini-golf, driving range, boardwalk, and even took a trip to Charleston for the day,(which I highly recommend Partiot Point), and plenty of beach time!We only had to call the management company once as one of the kids upgraded the tv package by accident. They called the owner and resolved it quickly.Overall were we happy with the house....absolutely. We would highly recommend staying at White Bear House!

If you’re looking for a modern beach house, keep looking - this is not the place!

Our problems started upon arrival when we arrived to a dirty house (interior floors had debris all over, kitchen countertops were dirty, appliances were sticky and not wiped down) . The rental company, Owner Direction Vacation Rentals, was fabulous to work with, very apologetic and had someone there within 20 minutes. We walked the property with the cleaning crew and they took care of things that should have been done before we arrived. Pool area was also in bad shape and had to be cleaned (pool cleaned/scrubbed, patio blown out, trash picked up, picnic table in back had black sticky stuff all over it). I was informed that there was a storm the night before and someone should have taken care of this prior to check-in. While it was advertised as recently renovated, it’s still an old beach house. It does have nice granite countertops in the kitchen/island area, newer flooring, but had older appliances (reported that oven didn’t work during stay) and refrigerator had rust spots over the front. Restrooms were small with old sinks/tubs with NO counter space at all! The downstairs had little or no storage and I had to purchase hangers for the entire house because there were only a few in each closet. A beach house with no beach supplies (towels, chairs, umbrella). Only two bathrooms with waste baskets. One small dumpster for a house that accommodates so many - trash overflowing by trash day(s). At the beach with sand everywhere and there was not even a vacuum cleaner only a broom. One small capacity washer/dryer for 19 people just didn’t do it... Upon returning from dinner one night, the smoke detector on the bottom floor was going off and the battery had to be removed before it stopped. Upon checking the detector upstairs, there was not even a battery in it. And here’s the best one, on Wednesday evening, someone was taking a shower on the second floor and water started leaking into the bathroom on the first floor. Not just a trickle, but like it was raining! We soaked up the water with towels, called ODVR and they offered to send someone out that night, but we declined since it was after 9:00 pm and we had small children in bed already. The repairman did come the next morning and caulked the shower and instructed us to not use it for two days – this was a HUGE inconvenience!! The positive - it is right across the street from the beach!

Problems

Pool wasn’t clean when we got there, red ants were all over the pool area & out front where we parked our vehicles. The ice maker did not work so we had to buy bagged ice all week long. Don’t sit outside at night on the bottom floor, a family member of mine was shot in the eye buy a pellet gun when a vehicle drove by. Emergency services & law enforcement were involved.

My only complaints are that to get upstairs you have to go outside which makes it tough when a family is staying together. Also, one of the upstairs bedrooms had no bathroom except to go into another bedroom to get to it. This was hard because you may wake up or interrupt someone.

ODVRCeiling fans in all rooms up & down Upstairs small fridge (college size) would be very helpful Sink for "wet bar" would also be very helpful and actually make it a wet bar. The pool was wonderful and a lot of outside sitting areas. I would recommend for the owner to purchase more cooking ware. The biggest issue we had was the roaches!!!!! Also the plumbing needs updating. We would love to return but only if the bugs are gone and plumbing is updated.

White Bear House - Myrtle Beach, SC

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, Myrtle Beach has changed dramatically since our last visit, but this is of no fault to the property/property managers. However, upon our arrival, which was after the official check in time, I was told our property was ready and watched a gentleman "call" to verify. We were told to head to the house. When we got there, the cleaners were still there. I called back, spoke to a gentleman who put me on hold, then verified that the cleaners were "just finishing up" and gave permission to enter the house. We began unloading our vehicles, keep in mind that this house sleeps 16 people, and as we made our first trip into the house, we startled the cleaners, who acted as though they had no idea we were coming yet and said they needed another 1.5 hours in order to finish. We had to take all of our belongings back out of the house. I attempted to call back to the property management company, who let my call go to voicemail. It was close to 5pm by that point, so I did not want to call their after hours with this, but I left a message detailing the situation, and asking for a return call. No one ever called me back. I understand that many businesses are struggling with hiring staff and if they needed more time, I wish they would have just told me that up front, instead of lying to me, twice. I was not impressed.I would have given 1 star for the question regarding the property management company's professionalism, but my first phone call when booking was answered by a friendly, knowledgeable woman.

2021 vacation

We had a wonderful stay even though we had couple of major issues. They were addressed immediately. The staff was helpful patient and friendly. The house and pool were everything we needed for a great family vacation.

Great location

This is a nice house in a great location. It is a very short walk across the street to the beach, where we spent almost every evening. They could do a better job of cleaning and changing the shower curtains. If you are a bigger person, the toilets are tough to sit down on. Overall we had a great week there with family and friends.

Suggestion, A larger refrigerator downstairs, a larger grill they both were ok but for 19 people, who cooked everyday it was only ok. Bathroom fixtures especially the shower faucets need updating.
