A quick 5 minute drive gets you to Lake Conroe for swimming, boating, fishing and more. Boats are welcome! Not far from the National Forest, enjoy hiking/biking and hunting!

Great cozy place to stay !

Loved the place. Very clean. Gives a cozy welcome home feeling. All the rooms just feel so comfortable and the house is very clean! The property itself is gorgeous. Would definitely stay here again!

Cozy cottage with a beautiful yard!

Perfect yard and amount of rooms when staying with three kiddos ranging from 3-9. The room with the air hockey table and other games like Jenga and Uno was so great for the kids as well. Really clean and safe area! Thanks for a great stay!

State Fishing tournament

We enjoyed our time at the house and lake Conroe for the Texas High School Bass Tournament. This is a great location with the boat ramp right across the street, gas station right down the road and plenty of room to park the boat. We will definitely be back!

Big Sky Wedding weekend

My daughter’s wedding was April 25, 2025. The bridal party stayed Thursday night before the wedding. Grandparents and parents stayed Friday night after the wedding. It was 3 min drive to the venue, and the house was AWESOME!

Weekend Away

Stayed here for Thanksgiving with the Family. Lots of space for us and the kids. Great location. Loved having a fireplace to do smores at night. Place was very clean and tidy.

Wedding weekend

We attended as wedding at the Old Dobbin Station and stayed here for the weekend. The house was perfect! Great location and so much room. The house was super clean and the check in/check out process was seamless. Highly recommend!

Stayed here with my groomsman for my wedding rehearsal night. Wonderful home with plenty of space for parking multiple cars when you have a gathering.

Amazing!

The house is so cute and very close to our wedding venue, Big Sky Barn. Crystal, the owner, went out of her to make my daughter and her bridesmaids feel welcome and comfortable. Communication was excellent! I highly recommend Pearson Cottage.

Wedding getaway

We loved this location. We had a wedding at The Big Sky Barn in Montgomery and it is a 2 minute drive from that venue. It was great. The place was spacious, and classy, and plenty or room. The host is so gracious and left us donuts and water. Was very hands off but always attentive for our every need. There is a air hockey table and games. Plenty of bathrooms. You're not too close to neighbors but just a 10 minute drive from the lake, or food, or grocery stores. Overall we had a wonderful time and definitely would book here again.

Excellent - Short Stay for Wedding

I would give this six stars if I could. Booked for two nights for daughter's wedding, and our only regret is that we were so busy we could not really enjoy the house. But everything is perfect - location, hospitality, accommodations. The hosts go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

Wedding weekend

Stayed at VRBO to attend a wedding of our daughter at the Big Sky Barn wedding venue nearby. Accommodations were great! Very comfortable and a beautiful home. Convenience to the Big Sky Barn/Iron Manor was great—3 minutes away. It was the perfect place to stay for the event.

Great home and property

This house was by far the best house we have stayed at and we have stayed at plenty of homes. The house was very clean and the decor was stunning. The house comes with plenty of towels and has everything you need. We will definitely come back and stay here!

Spacious and Welcoming House with Attentive Host

Every room in this house was spacious and furnished with guest comfort in mind. The attention to detail in providing towels, toiletries, and blankets was unmatched, and communication with the host was responsive and helpful.

I'm a soon to be 30-year Montgomery resident happily married to a fourth-generation Montgomery alumni. I'm a wife, a mother to 2 amazing kids, and a baker/caterer who can now add painter, and some-what expert on wallpaper to my list. Being a VRBO host has been one of the most rewarding experiences. I've always had a passion for interior design/decor so this has been an amazing way to express that and create something cozy and inviting to share with others.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This precious home is near and dear to our hearts. Built in the early 1980's by James and Gertie Pearson (affectionately known as Poppa Pete and Grandma Gertie) we just couldn't let it leave the family. There are numerous memories sprinkled throughout the home and we hope you love it as much as we do.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

A lot of love (along with some blood, sweat and tears) was poured into every detail of this old girl's facelift. She's new again, but still warm, relaxing and feels like home.
