This home has been updated yearly all the amenities of a home sweet home. Sandy beach island 7 houses down with lounge chairs, picnic tables and grills. Perfect sunsets. Sandy beach across the street. Walk to restaurants Prime 7 ,It’s a matter of taste. Russell park 1/2 mi away with 5 plays scapes, horseshoes,2 big swing sets, climbing wall. Alpine ski lodge, Huron Valley Hospital, great neighbors! Grill and electric fire pit on my deck.

There was a very nice kitchen for meals with so many people. The house was very comfortable. We visited the island and had a great time there!

Beautiful house with all the perks

The house was as stated when we arrived. We had everything we needed plus more. Kitchen was amazingly stocked and more than enough towels and blankets. Games and puzzles for kids and adults. Great location, close to where we needed to be for our softball tournament.

Beautiful!!

We were so happy to find Dixie’s home, we had a wedding to attend near by. House was cozy and comfy but still enough room for our kids to get quiet time to themselves.

First of all the host, Dixie is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. I loved the house. I liked everything about it. I’d definitely recommend this place.

The location is great, We BBQ’d most of our 10 days stay and ran out of propane, which was inconvenient, and i did ask about the bbq and if there was going to be enough propane. We also had a kerfuffle with the neighbor because we were using, per Dixie’s instructions, the large garbage bins across the street. The house didn’t have a large garbage bin on site, and it wasn’t easy dumping recycle and trash. There were a few things that needed to be taken care of concerning the house, but nothing major. All in all it was a very nice family visit and we enjoyed Dixie’s home.

Absolutely amazing. The best equipped VRBO I have ever stayed in. There was an issue with an electrical outlet in the kitchen which we were notified about before we got there. It didn't hamper us in any way. Extra towels and propane tank were delivered to us and we hadn't even asked for them. The house was clean and looked exactly like the photos. There was plenty of room for four women and a nine year old. And still plenty of room for our dinner guests. Dixie always responded quickly every time I had a question. Quiet neighborhood. We have already talked about staying there again. I would definitely recommend this house.

Wonderful host and the location was fantastic. The house was really clean and cozy and it was very easy to communicate with the host. I will definitely stay here again. It felt like “home”!

We enjoyed our visit very much. Fun walking to the park on the water and looking across the street to the lake. The host could not have been nicer. Overall - great stay.

This is a beautiful, clean house that has been made into a home. You will not want to leave. We stayed a week & we wanted to stay another. Close to everything, walking distance to beaches. The host is wonderful & very accommodating. We are definitely going back next summer.

Awesome lake house!!

Our stay was amazing! Everything was as it was advertised. Loved the fire pit and openness of the main living area. Dixie is an amazing host and went over and above with her hospitality! And communication was so easy with her! Thanks you for a great stay!!!

Great property and responsive host

This is an updated, beautifully decorated home, with the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen in a rental. Beds and couches were spacious and comfortable (and the young kids were entertained by playing with the two airline seats). We were in the area for a wedding, so didn't get to fully take advantage of the home or the immediate area, but we enjoyed coffee on the front porch every morning, looking out at the lake (between the houses across the street). The host, Dixie, was super-responsive to our questions before booking and during our stay. We enjoyed our stay!

Scenic, warm and inviting!!

Bright, clean and creative! Homemade brownies greeted us. A wonderful spacious kitchen. Great furnished porch with a water view. A cozy master bedroom with a balcony. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return! Thank you Dixie, Ron, Mary Ann, Stephen and Loralei!

Beautiful Lake House with Fantastic Sunset’s

Cozy house just steps from the water. The private island is for sure worth visiting, especially for the sunset's. The kitchen is amazing and has literally anything you can think of or need. Dixie is beyond an amazing host, she exceeded my expectations when it came to communicating and made this trip so easy from the moment I hit book. Thank you Dixie and we look forward to a return trip soon. 5 STARS across the board !

What a wonderful place

The place is fantastic and the location is in a great spot. So close to many things but the water is the best part. Lake living lives up to its promise in late summer here! The owner is an amazing host and superb communicator. This is our second visit to her location and it’s hard to say goodbye to the wonderfulness of her place and our old friends. Beds are comfy and the kitchen has everything you need.

Great location

We chooae to stay here because it was very close to family we were visiting. The area was great. We loved walking down to the beach and the private island. The main floor has been nicely updated and was perfect for our needs. The host was responsive to my questions and very nice. However, im shocked by how many 5 star reviews this house has. There were cobwebs everywhere and definitely not as clean as i would have liked. The upstairs area felt like the hosts bedroom and the stairs leading up there are quite steep. The bed was very uncomfortable and it was very hot. My husband and i eventually just slept on the couches downstairs. The host told me she would pull out the pack n play and high chair but she didn't, which is fine, except the high chair was buried under a bunch of stuff. Towels were difficult to find and water pressure was terrible. Overall, the stay was fine but i probably wouldnt stay again.
