My sister and adult children were in town for a funeral. This home was perfect. The views and back deck were so peaceful. Having 4 bathrooms was great. The house was clean, comfortable, and well equipped.

We really enjoyed the yard and using the peddle-boat on the lake. The house was well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen and with sufficient towels and beach towels. Tia was very responsive and checked with us occasionally to make sure we had everything we needed.

This was a great place to have my parents' 50th anniversary party. We had plenty of room to sleep and eat and play games. We thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat and the kids REALLY enjoyed the sandy area. The kitchen had plenty of staples and then some! We were able to cook every meal while we were there. Tia and Mike also left such a sweet "congratulations" gift for my parents!!We loved it and we loved how prompt with responses with me and how gracious Tia was with my dad's questions in the weeks before the stay. They were also able to give us a late checkout, which was super helpful!

There were just a few minor things. We had trouble getting the coffee maker to work and the bathroom doorknob was loose but otherwise it was quite nice.

Beautiful place

This was a lovely, comfortable place and easy process. The water is highly chlorinated even after filtration - I suggest bringing your own drinking water.

Family Vacation

Excellent communication with Tia. My family and I enjoyed staying on the lake, and there was plenty of room for our guests to visit. Quiet neighborhood and close to coffee shops, groceries and restaurants.

What a great home for a family reunion

We had a wonderful time here at the house. The lake is beautiful and very quiet and peaceful location. Lots of room for everyone and great big area to play games and eat together. We enjoyed the house some much we didn't even go out and explore the area.

Great house

We had to move out of our house due to a waterline break. This house was close to ours, clean, cute and well appointed. The owners were very accommodating as we had to extend our stay and they made everything easy and seamless for us.

Beautiful Home Away from Home

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful lake house! The pictures do not do the property justice! It is clean, well maintained, and fully stocked for cooking and cleaning. Tia and Mike could not have been nicer and I highly suggest renting from them! This house made our trip so perfect!

Family time

Check in was very easy, the communication with Tia was top notch, the kitchen was well stocked with gadgets and cookware. Beautifully tree lined road for morning walks and deck with plenty of seating for sunsets. Great layout, plenty of games and movies and a huge tv for watching Sunday football! We will revisit if in the area.

Emergency Stay

Had to move out of our house for an expected 9 day stay. Needed to be near our home and had to be pet friendly. This was the perfect property for us. Layout was cozy and close to everything we needed. Our hosts were very accommodating, as we needed to extend our stay twice. The neighborhood is beautiful and the view was very serene. We would highly recommend this home!

Family Vacation 2025

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time in this cozy lake home. The home is well equipped for any type of fun inside and outside too. We had our own paddle boards but there was a paddle boat and kayaks ready for use. Cooley Lake is lots of fun and the fireworks were awesome! Thank you Tia & Mike for your immediate help with a couple minor things.

Family Trip

We were very happy with our stay. The house was clean and had plenty of space for our family. The kitchen was stocked with everything you may need and the deck outside overlooking the lake was the best part of the stay. We were out there with our morning coffee, evening dinners and visiting with family at night. It was very peaceful and quiet in the neighborhood. Although we didnt have time to use any of them, there were kayaks, pedal boat, and a fire pit available for us to use. We will have to visit again and spend more time on the lake! Thank you for the great family memories.

Great family getaway

Tia and Mike were easy to reach when we had questions. There are 4 bedrooms (1. queen, 2. queen with a futon, 3. single over double bunk, 4. queen bed with 2 couches in the basement) and 2 extra cots, and 4 full bathrooms, which was so nice for our extended family of 11. There were extra linens - sheets, blankets and towels. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed: dishes, glasses, pots, pans, utensils, even full ice cube trays. We really enjoyed the kayaks and the paddleboat. There's plenty of seating inside and out. It was a fun time for our whole family!

Overall the property inside was above our expectations. Outside there were a lot of overgrown vines on the deck areas. The homeowner responded quickly to our concerns and removed them. Also, we discovered that the paddle boat was missing a plug after we were in it and it was taking on water. The homeowner responded the next day and put a plug in it. Overall this property met our expectations,

First and foremost, the hosts to this property are the kindest and most accommodating I’ve ever experienced. This property was a last minute rental due to the original property I rented fell through at the last second. The house was immaculate and big. There was more than enough room for the 10 of us and 2 dogs. There was a pontoon boat to rent which was so wonderful. The lake has a sandbar that we enjoyed too. Quiet neighborhood and so many great restaurants nearby. Fishing was good too. There’s kayaking and even a paddle boat to use. We enjoyed this vacation very much and will definitely book again with this property. I can’t stress enough of positive feedback on the property and hosts. I can’t thank them enough. Book it!

Amazing Stay- Highly Recommend!

I recently stayed at this property through Vrbo, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was just as advertised, if not better! The property was situated in a perfect spot, close to everything. It was easy to access stores and restaurants. It had everything we needed for a convenient and enjoyable stay. The home itself was beautiful and well-maintained. We really appreciated the attention to detail – the place felt like a true home away from home. Everything was clean and comfortable, from the beds to the kitchen.Our hosts,Tia and Mike, were wonderful. They were quick to respond to any questions we had before and during our stay. They made sure we had everything we needed and even provided us with local tips and recommendations.Overall, I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a vacation. We would definitely return.Thank you to the host for such an amazing experience!

It was perfect...but not too perfect!!

The day we arrived, we were super stressed because our daughter was getting married in two days and we had been running around like chickens with their heads cut off! When we got there, we took a moment and sat on the deck with the beautiful view and just breathed a sigh of peacefulness. It was just what the doctor ordered! During our stay, we had family coming and going with many trips to the airport and back and to the wedding venue with the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner and set up and tear down and at the end of every day we were able to come back to that peaceful view. It was so much better than going to a cold hotel room. We had several children staying with us and it was so nice that the place was comfortable but not pretentious. The house had just the right amount of wear and tear... The kids were able to just be kids and have fun! It was a great place to gather and we made many great memories there.
