Great place, great location

Very nice house with everything you need for a getaway, in a location that’s within walking distance of a market and several restaurants, as well as right at the center of the state park

Great central location. Cleanliness is an issue throughout though. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher, rotten food in the refrigerator, bed sheets not clean and smelled of body odor, stains on comforter and pillow cases. Bedframe in master bedroom needs to be replaced. Toilet does not flush. The property is great, but needs a deep cleaning and some upgrades.

Great Stay in Borrego Springs

The house is in a great location, plenty of room, hot tub under the stars, everything was functional. We had a wonderful trip!

Great location, could be tidier

We enjoyed our stay here, it's in a great location. You can walk to everything downtown but it's still nice and quiet. The unit is a duplex which I don't think was mentioned in the listing, the only shared wall is in the kitchen. Everything was well stocked. The property could have been cleaner, it didn't look like it had been vacuumed when we arrived. The king bed frame needs to be replaced. The outside was a bit messy, an old tent was set up on the side yard. With a few improvements and better cleaning it would be 5 stars!

Family get together

First experience with VRBO needed to accommodate 5 adults. This was a great option allowing all of us to be in the same place. Appreciated the kitchen and common space not found in hotel rental.

Hiking in Anza-Borrego park

This was a great place to stay for our hiking excursions in the state park. Pleasant walking distance to restaurants and shops in town, too.

Clean home, & you can walk to town

A great place to meetup with family in the desert. Temperature never got above 90, the desert was not overly crowded, and there are interesting places to hike. Saw a chuckwalla and some desert flowers, even in late April.We walked to town to explore the desrt musem, an excellent gift shop, and restaurants. Contacted the host with a potential issue and they immediately responded & accomodated us to resolve it.

Charming home perfect for a weekend stay

We really enjoyed this lovely property at a fraction of the cost to stay at a hotel. If you are looking for modern/luxury, don't book it. But if you enjoy charm, space, privacy and outdoor serenity, you will be pleasantly surprised with these accommodations.

Desert Oasis

Great, comfortable property with wonderful outdoor amenities such as sitting areas, desert plantings, hot tub. Property is also walking distance to grocery, dining, shopping making it convenient to leave the car behind. We totally enjoyed both our inside and outside time.

Good location and size, but DIRTY

Good location and size, but DIRTY. Would not stay here again, we spent about an hour or two cleaning the property. Sweeping and mopping floors, wiping tables, chair, and countertops with a cleaner, vacuuming the floors and rugs. cleaning the bathroom and showers with cleaner and paper towels, checking and checking and changing soiled towels and sheets. $40 cleaning fee, should have suspected it would not be clean! Would not recommend or stay here again, owner was nice and responsive before check in, but after when we informed him of the condition of the unit, he took a while to respond. He has not commented on the photos of the unit that we took as we cleaned yet. Great location though! Look for a rental around here?
