Access
❖This apartment is on the bottom floor of a 3-story building. Climbing stairs is required to reach the apartment. There are seven stairs if you park on the street in front of the building or a full flight of stairs if you come from the parking lot behind the building.
❖ Door code will be sent to guest at the designated check-in time
Guest has full access to the private apartment as well as access to the following amenities:

Neighborhood
This is a freshly remodeled apartment building. It is close to downtown Salt Lake City and all of the restaurants, shopping, family activities and business centers that come with the downtown area. Some highlights include:
❖ 7 min drive to Temple Square
❖ 5 min drive to the Delta Center
❖ 5 min drive to the Utah State Capitol Building
❖ 5 min drive to the Gateway Mall
❖ 8 min drive to LDS Hospital
❖ 8 min drive to City Creek Center (Shopping)
❖ 16 min drive to University of Utah Hospital

Notes
❖Checking in to this unit does require an online check-in form to be filled out including uploading a photo government ID.
❖Climbing 2 steps is required to reach this apartment.
❖During certain seasons of the year, a local pest called box elder bugs attempt to swarm every building they can get their little bug hands on. While we take every precaution to combat these pests, it is possible that one will occasionally make it in through a window or door. Some people can mistake these for very tiny roaches, but they are not.
❖For same-day reservations made after the check-in time, the earliest we can guarantee access to the home is 1 hour after the reservation is made.

**Important:**
We are committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent verification.
•No Smoking, Vaping, or use of marijuana at any time anywhere on the property.
•No illegal substances of any kind anywhere on the premises.
•Smoking of any kind in or near the property will result in a minimum of $250 cleaning fee and eviction from the property without refund.

•No Parties. No events, birthdays, bachelor, or bachelorette stays, get-togethers, hangouts, and the like
•Quiet time in our neighborhood begins at 10pm and ends at 8am.
•Do not disrespect neighbors
•Do not have more guests than stated on your reservation and no unapproved visitors. There is a $50 per night fee for every guest not listed on the reservation.
•No loud music or disturbances. Especially after quiet hours which start at 10:00 PM
•Do not use share amenities outside of their posted allowed time frames.
•Do not place diapers or other garbage in the hallway.

•The check-in form with attached photo government ID must be filled out before arrival. You will not be sent the door code at your check-in time unless this form is filled out properly. Incomplete check-in forms may result in cancellation of the reservation. Reservations cancelled less than 5 days before check-in due to an incomplete check-in form are not subject to refund.
•Check-in is any time after 4:00 PM and checkout by 11:00 AM
•Due to cleaning requirements, we cannot offer late check-outs.
•We reserve the right to charge $75 for every 30 minutes after 11 AM for unapproved late check-out.
•Please follow check-in and check-out instructions
•Self-check-in with smart lock

•Do not flush anything other than human waste and toilet paper down the toilet.
•Do not put oil, grease, bones or any other non-water-soluble items down the drains.
•Do not wash dishes in the bathroom sink
•Run the kitchen sink disposal every time food waste goes down the drain.
•Plumbing repair costs will be passed on to the guest.

•If you open it, close it. If you borrow it, return it. If you turn it on, turn it off. If you break it, fix it. If you use it, take care of it. If you make a mess, clean it up. If you move it, put it back.
•Any items removed from the property, broken, destroyed, or lost will be replaced at the guest’s cost. Some costs include:
•$50 TV Remote
•$75 Amenities fob

•Do not burn candles, incense, or any other open flames.
•Always lock the door. We want you and your things to be safe.
•We are not responsible or liable for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises. We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables during your stay. We cannot be responsible for any items left behind.
•Do not park in any covered parking stalls that you have not been assigned; do not park anywhere parking is not allowed.

•No pets allowed.

Photos Are Deceiving and AI Host
My husband and I stayed here for a week and a half with our two dogs. We were able to check in early although there was a fee (also be prepared for a fee for every 30 min after 11 am — we were more than happy to leave and did not have to pay that). 1) Right when we arrived we noticed the space was incredibly small (the photos were taken with a wide or fish eye lens) and the couch almost touched the kitchen counter and in the main bedroom the bed was so close to the wall you had to shimmy in 2) The location was not well kept and I immediately took numerous photos and sent them to the owner (more on that later) - cabinets had wood peeling off, the couch had the seats torn up, the bedside “tables” had been ripped out of the wall and poorly placed back in 3) The bathroom window opens directly to the parking lot and the bath tub did not drain 4) The next door neighbors smoked weed constantly and the entire property smelled pervasively of cannabis 5) Dishwasher did not work 6) Broken blinds (as in some of the blinds were cut off) FINALLY and most importantly: Although we contacted the owner many times, we were only once responded to by an actual human. All the responses we received were very obviously from a bot/Chat GPT. I am not sure why the VRBO platform allows a host on the platform who doesn’t actually host.

Great location, pet friendly, excellent host!
The host was very accommodating - we added an extra night the first night we booked to escape our hotel. The descriptions and photos were accurate -- as an apartment, expect typical apartment noises including neighbors above/aside. Very nicely furnished apartment, walking distance to local parks, and a few restaurants/bars -- easy access to the capitol and downtown. Excellent stay on a quick need -- thanks!

Great location
We loved our stay. The beds were nice, and we liked having a gathering place to play games. The apartment was very clean and not cluttered. The location was very convenient to everything in Salt Lake.
