Hoosier Happiness offers enough space for guests to spread out, relax, and unwind after a day spent with your star student. The property is backed by 52 5-star reviews but had to reopen its listing due to a host change. It’s clean, cozy, and comfortable, with king beds and private bathrooms off each of the two bedrooms. The top level of the 3-story townhouse offers additional privacy or peace and quiet if traveling with a group.

If you’re visiting your kid at college, you want to give them space, but not so much that you can't embarrass them in a matter of minutes if you so choose. The inviting townhome is located just 1 minute from I-69 and 12 minutes from campus. Make a home-cooked meal for your ramen-loving kid in the kitchen, or watch a movie after touring the campus. This quaint townhouse is sure to make your Bloomington adventure one for the history books.

Perfect choice!

We had a wonderful stay at Dennis' townhouse. It is just as it looks in the photos - modern, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen had all the appliances, utensils, and cookware we needed, even glass Tupperware, which is so much better than plastic! There's a nice little porch off the kitchen with two tables and chairs that we enjoyed a few lunches on. Such a pleasant touch. We used the new clothes washer and dryer. Detergent and dryer sheets were provided, which was very thoughtful. Both bedrooms and their closets were spacious. We liked all the bathroom toiletries, which is rare for us! The towels were especially enjoyable. Dennis was very responsive any time I had a question. Overall, this is one of the best rentals we have ever stayed at. We highly recommend it!

We’re so pleased and grateful to Dennis for keeping this wonderful still-new unit available. Everything works, clean as a whistle, comfortable rooms, bright kitchen, quiet, friendly neighborhood, on and on - this is why we keep coming back. Excellent property at a great location

We stayed here for a weekend ultra-marathon trail race. It was a perfect property for the 4 of us with plenty of room and excellent amenities. It is literally minutes from all the popular locations within Bloomington. Wonderful host and great communication!

Perfect home!

I was there for a visit to my IU student, and chose this place because it was cheaper than a hotel room (during Eclipse weekend). The home was immaculate and had every amenity. The owner was responsive, and the stay was very easy. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay at Hoosier Happiness

Just completed our weekend in Bloomington at Hoosier Happiness and it was a wonderful experience! It is a great property with clean, well appointed amenities. It is a great layout and plenty of space for our family. Communication with Dennis was easy and he was extremely responsive. We will definitely be back!

Clean and efficient!

Hoosier Happiness is a great description - this townhome is relatively new, everything is clean and it all works well, including heat, kitchen, laundry, more. Nice, thoughtful amenities, well-stocked. In a quiet neighborhood, easy parking, 10 minutes from campus. Thanks for being there, Dennis - even though we never needed to contact you because everything worked fine!

The BEST

This townhouse is beautifully decorated with so many details that enhanced our visit. The owner provided detail in the binder to ensure we had no issues operating TV, Fireplace, door locks, etc... Beds were very comfortable. This is by far one of the finest VRBOs we have rented at a price that is in, my opinion, quite a deal! I highly recommend this for a nice getaway whether visiting Bloomington or nearby Nashville.

Amazing luxury townhouse!

Wonderful hosts and what a lovely place to stay! All amenities, all recent, all working, all very high quality - fluffy towels, comfortable bedding. This is a quiet end unit with patio overlooking woods, and nice interior spaces. Cleanliness and thoughtfulness are up there with the best inns we’ve visited. Thank you Dennis and team for making this great place available - look forward to returning!

Beautiful Bloomington! Perfect location! (Lake Monroe) only a quick 15 minute drive

My husband, myself, my senior parents and adult children stayed here while visiting family members at Lake Monroe. Very safe and walkable neighborhood. The home was immaculate and very well maintained. Very comfortable king beds in the upstairs bedrooms. Bathrooms were modern and very clean. Appreciated the shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The basement level was lovely and had a sofa sleeper plus full bathroom! Well stocked kitchen with coffee maker, microwave, and they even had the essential extras such as ground coffee, coffee filters and your everyday spices in the pantry. I would highly recommend and most definitely stay here again!

We were in town for 4 nights for our daughters dissertation defense. We choose VRBO because it allows us to spend time with our daughter and her husband without feeling cramped in a hotel room; this home was honestly perfect!! The owners have taken the time to think of everything that you might need, you could just tell that they take pride in the home and your experience while there, plus it is easy to access any place that you want to go! It has already been decided that we will try to rent this house for our future trips to Bloomington!

An amazing place on the southwest side of Bloomington

We stayed here for the weekend to go do something boating on Monroe with friends. Driveway has room for 2 full sized trucks with a little bit of room to spare. We parked our boat on the north side of the house along the street. The street is on a pretty good hill so we chocked all 4 trailer tires and locked the rims together with ratchet straps as added insurance. About the house and neighborhood, house is amazing all the furnishings you could ask for. Beds are all comfy. Master bath is so modern with a shower head and a rain head. The neighbors were all so nice and not one of them had a issue with us parking the boat on the roadside, I had to ask since the neighborhood is a HOA. Would 100% recommend this as a great place to stay in Bloomington. You are just a few minutes from I69, 15 minutes from lake Monroe, and just 10 minutes from the Bloomington bar and pub district. Oh and try the Trojan horse for great food , drinks and a awesome experience. Within 10 minutes of college mall. And 15 minutes of campus. Awesome place, thanks.

Weekend on Lake Monroe

We had an amazing two night stay! This place is extremely clean, decorated nicely, and located in the cutest little area. The beds are very comfortable and we felt that we had everything in this townhome that we needed. Everything was very well thought out for their guests. We very much appreciated everything that was done for our stay. Thank you so much! Bloomington is blooming with beauty….we love it!

No better place in Bloomington

This property is amazing! The communication and instructions were spot on, even after I left I forgot my boots and they offered to ship them to me. The beds are amazing and both king sized that really make a difference. I have never stayed at a property that was better stocked in the kitchen. Mixer, blenders, pans, pots, coffee maker, it had it all. I even made manicotti and chicken with ease and didn't have to purchase anything other than the ingredients. From the couches to the fire place everything was perfect. Do not stay anywhere else this is the place to call home while you are staying in town.

I'm a semi-retired (OK, mostly retired) former radio station manager and small business owner. I absolutely love Bloomington and Indiana University, to the point that we purchased two townhouses to offer as vacation rentals. Hoosier Happiness and Hoosier Happiness, Too were put together to provide everything one could think of for the best possible experience in a decor that tastefully honors Bloomington and IU. Other than my five grandchildren, there is little that makes me as happy as a five star review from a guest who expresses how much they enjoyed staying in one of our townhouses and states that they will be back (even in a short period of time so far many of them have been back). With what we have spent to prepare and furnish the townhouses they have been far from the best investments we've ever made, but we're loving every minute of hosting our guests in them!

Hoosier Happiness is a great townhouse for relatives coming to town to visit students at IU, alumni returning to Bloomington, visiting medical and academic personnel or anyone coming to town to enjoy the Bloomington area and IU events. It is located in a quiet community 10-12 minutes from Bloomington and the IU campus. It is well stocked and furnished and tastefully decorated with a Bloomington and IU theme. It is within walking distance of Woolery Mill event center.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The two upstairs bedrooms have king size beds and en suite bathrooms for privacy and comfort. The main floor living room has enough room for everyone and a 55" Samsung smart TV. The basement features a 65" Samsung smart TV including wall connection for your gaming system, DVD player or other devices. The basement sofa is a queen size sleeper sofa and the basement also has a full bath so all three sleeping areas have their own full bathroom. The kitchen has what you need to cook, bake or prepare your tailgate if you're not enjoying Bloomington's great restaurants.
