First, I want to say it was really reasonably priced and the sunsets were award winning! The feedback I have is that it was a bit dated and things like the carpet and some of the upholstery could use a sprucing up. It could also use a full set of silverware and refreshed beach equipment - but it was an easy place to get in and out of and those sunsetsâŠâŠso worth it!!!
Condo has all the ingredients for a great spring break vacation. Clean, well stocked, great location and beautiful sunsets every night. Would definitely come back.
We really enjoyed our stay in #610 SS Tower 4. It was immaculately clean. Kitchen was well stocked and sunset view was spectacular. The unit was comfortably furnished and not overly cluttered, which we appreciated. It appears that the owners put a lot of thought into renovations. The kitchen and master bathroom were nicely updated and the large closet in the master bath held our suitcases, extra clothes and other items that we wanted out of the way. We would definitely return to this condo.
The floor was very dirty and the only sharp knives had rust on them. The rental agency was excellent in answering questions. Two friends came to stay the first week. They said the twin beds were uncomfortable. The rental agency called the owner and the mattresses were replaced the next day. The guys that brought the mattresses said they were very old. We liked that side of the building so we could enjoy the sunsets. Overall we enjoyed the property!
This Great sunset location may not be right for everyone.
Vrbo, Horizon Rental and the Condiminium itself has fees associated with this rental. The Condominium is within a gated community which requires an extra $100 fee as mentioned in description paid to their office, however the office closes at 4 pm on Saturday and does not open until Monday morning so you get limited information about the facility and it's many keys & codes until you register. It would have been nice to know they had carts available to bring suitcases and groceries into the building and where to get them upon arrival. They have many rules such as Quiet hours are 8pm to 8 am; no food or drink in large lobby gathering area that may not suit some guests. You must pay for laundry using a prepaid card or app. The lowest amount you can load is $10.00 so with the mandatory washing of towels ( $2 washer, $1 dryer) you need to go through the hassle of getting money back off the card or find another renter to share you funds with or you are out the money. The walk to the beach is long, but is worth it. The grounds and pool are well kept. Our unit was clean and comfortable. It had a great balcony to watch sunset!
Our unit was ok. Secondary bedroom had squeaky beds and living room furniture was out dated and uncomfortable. Not enough comfortable seating for 4 people A set of silverware for 8 would have been appreciated. Air conditioner was so loud it woke you up at night and could not hear TV when it kicked in. Like others said it was a long walk to the ocean. All in all it was just an average unit,
Property is just as pictured. Partial ocean view. Very clean. Could use a Keurig. Coffee maker with carafe at condo and new bath and beach towels. Would prefer to get instructions via email vs upon arrival. We arrived at 2 am and hard to read through pages of instructions at that time. Overall great and relaxing trip and would definitely use VRBO and Horizon Rentals again.
Overall happy with the property. Very safe, private and gorgeous view of Tigertail Beach. Dish soap or auto dishsoap, sponges not included... I understood one roll of TP but when I got the soaps and paper products and then went to make coffee in the morning and realized I forgot coffee filters it was a bit depressing for the cost of the unit. I understand not providing consumables for month long+ guests but weekly guests coming in on a plane? We are informed now but really appreciate the properties that take care of some of these not so expensive things to make the stay simply easier. Unfortunately you do have the people that take all the Kleenex and TP, coffee, filters and soaps with them. That is why these management companies have resorted to their policy. Location and the condition of suite was very nice. If anyone in your party is not in good physical condition it will be a problem to get to the ocean. Figure a 1/4mile+ walk to the ocean in the sand. My pregnant daughter was not liking that walk. I met an older gentlemen in the elevator and he said that golf cart rides to ocean would be great... he thinks it took him an hour to get there... I'm in my 50's and it's a brisk 12 minute walk one way. I enjoyed the walk... the cleanliness of the beach and the area. The beach is AMAZING and the view from the balcony of this unit. I got tired of picking up sand dollars. I have never seen such a clean, shell ridden beach. So clean and minimal people.
The beds are super firm. I gave up the King bed so my daughter could sleep. The twins are firm and a bit unstable so I ended up on the couch for my stay (10 days). Couch is very comfortable. Management company had maid come very quickly to bring extra linens and addressed all issues.
Unit included a cart to haul beach chairs, beach umbrellas, lots of pails and sand castle stuff for the beach-- a great plus.
On Wednesday there is a farm market near Winn Dixie market. They have everything from flowers and crafts to fresh produce. The swimming pool is nice and warm... you will not have to get used to it so it's great for those of us that are older to stretch and exercise.
Overall it would have been nice to have a softer bed so I wasn't on the couch for the $ but the view and location helped. I would recommend.
